The 3-D boundary integral equation is derived in terms of the reciprocal work theorem and used along with the 2.5-D Green’s function developed in Part I [Lu, J.F., Jeng, D.S., Williams, S., submitted for publication. A 2.5-D dynamic model for a saturated porous medium: Part I. Green’s function. Int. J. Solids Struct.] to develop the 2.5-D boundary integral equation for a saturated porous medium. The 2.5-D boundary integral equations for the wave scattering problem and the moving load problem are established. The Cauchy type singularity of the 2.5-D boundary integral equation is eliminated through introduction of an auxiliary problem and the treatment of the weakly singular kernel is also addressed. Discretisation of the 2.5-D boundary integral equation is achieved using boundary iso-parametric elements. The discrete wavenumber domain solution is obtained via the 2.5-D boundary element method, and the space domain solution is recovered using the inverse Fourier transform. To validate the new methodology, numerical results of this paper are compared with those obtained using an analytical approach; also, some numerical results and corresponding analysis are presented. 相似文献

Grapefruit juice inhibits esterase enzyme. Therefore, a possible interaction with ester prodrugs should be taken into consideration. In this study, the influence of grapefruit juice on sacubitril (SAC) rat liver S9 activation by esterase enzyme was evaluated. An RP‐HPLC method was developed and validated for estimation of SAC in rat liver S9 fraction using a C18 Cyano column as stationary phase and acetonitrile–sodium di‐hydrogen phosphate buffer (0.02 m , pH 4 adjusted by o‐phosphoric acid, 40:60, v/v), as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1 mL/min and UV detection at 254 nm. The method was successfully applied to an in vitro study in which SAC was incubated with rat liver S9 fraction prepared from rats that had previously ingested grapefruit juice for a week. The calculated SAC concentration after incubation was compared with that of SAC incubated with rat liver S9 fraction from the rat control group. The statistical significance between the results of test and control incubation sets was assessed. In conclusion, the current study demonstrated that grapefruit juice decreased SAC hydrolysis, hence delaying its activation to sacubitrilat (active form) in gut lumen. Based on this food–drug interaction, it may be required that grapefruit juice should be consumed with caution in patients receiving SAC. 相似文献

We compare Higgs boson production mechanisms at multi-TeV hadronic colliders. In addition to the previously investigated processes gluon + gluon → H and , we consider Higgs boson formation by pairs of virtual W's or Z's, a process analogous to two-photon collisions in e+e? scattering. The Higgs production process is dominated by longitudinal W's and is the most important mechanism for MH > 6 MW, if the top quark mass is about 30 GeV. 相似文献

Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of the aromatic diisocyanides, 1,4-phenylenediisocyanide, 2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-1,4-phenylenediisocyanide, 4,4'-biphenyldiisocyanide, 3,3',5,5'-tetramethyl-4,4'-biphenyldiisocyanide, and 4,4' '-p-terphenyldiisocyanide, were prepared on gold and palladium surfaces. The SAMs were characterized by ellipsometry, polarization-modulated infrared reflection-absorption spectroscopy (PM-IRRAS), and grazing-angle attenuated total reflectance infrared spectroscopy (GATR). Based on the position of the metal-coordinated isocyanide stretching band, the SAMs on gold were found to bind in the terminal (eta(1)) geometry, while the SAMs on palladium prefer a different geometry which is possibly a triply bridging (mu(3)-eta(1)) geometry. A side-reaction of the unbound isocyanide in the SAM was identified as oxidation to an isocyanate group. 相似文献

We propose a new algorithm for deconvolution of electrospray ionization mass spectra based on direct assignment of charge to the measured signal at each mass-to-charge ratio (m/z). We investigate two heuristics for charge assignment: the entropy-based heuristic is adapted from a deconvolution algorithm by Reinhold and Reinhold;10 the multiplicative-correlation heuristic is adapted from the multiplicative-correlation deconvolution algorithm of Hagen and Monnig.6 The entropy-based heuristic is insensitive to overestimates of z(max), the maximum ion charge. We test the deconvolution algorithm on two single-component samples: the measured spectrum of human beta-endorphin has two prominent and one very weak line whereas myoglobin has a well-developed quasi-gaussian envelope of 17 peaks. In both cases, the deconvolution algorithm gives a clean deconvoluted spectrum with one dominant peak and very few artefacts. The relative heights of the peaks due to the parent molecules in the deconvoluted spectrum of a mixture of two peptides, which are expected to ionize with equal efficiency, give an accurate measure of their relative concentration in the sample. 相似文献

Methods for the separation and analysis of the phospholipid classes have been studied. The lipid extracts of normal and Plasmodium knowlesi- infected rhesus erythrocytes and of the parasite itself have been examined for phospholipid composition on an animal-to-animal basis. Several differences were apparent between the phospholipids of parasites and infected host cells. Phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylcholine, and phosphatidylethanolamine represented larger percentages in the parasite than in the host; the average phosphatidylinositol content was 1.8 % in infected host cells and 4.3 % in parasites. Sphingomyelin and phosphatidylserine were also strikingly different in the two membranes; in the parasite they averaged less than 20 % and 33 % respectively of their level in the infected red blood cell. 相似文献
