Urolithiasis can lead to the loss of renal function in some cases. In this study, we tested the inhibiting effect of wheat bran (Triticum aestivum L) extract on calcium oxalate crystallization in a turbidimetric model, by FTIR spectroscopy, and polarized microscopy. The results show that this plant extract has a major inhibitory effect on calcium oxalate crystallization.  相似文献

Efficient electro‐oxidation of formic acid, methanol, and ethanol is challenging owing to the multiple chemical reaction steps required to accomplish full oxidation to CO2. Herein, a ternary CoPtAu nanoparticle catalyst system is reported in which Co and Pt form an intermetallic L10‐structure and Au segregates on the surface to alloy with Pt. The L10‐structure stabilizes Co and significantly enhances the catalysis of the PtAu surface towards electro‐oxidation of ethanol, methanol, and formic acid, with mass activities of 1.55 A/mgPt, 1.49 A/mgPt, and 11.97 A/mgPt, respectively in 0.1 m HClO4. The L10‐CoPtAu catalyst is also stable, with negligible degradation in mass activities and no obvious Co/Pt/Au composition changes after 10 000 potential cycles. The in situ surface‐enhanced infrared absorption spectroscopy study indicates that the ternary catalyst activates the C?C bond more efficiently for ethanol oxidation.  相似文献

New manganese(II) complexes, [Mn(H2L)(H2O)2]Cl2· xH2O, with linear and tripodal tetradentate ligands have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, i.r. spectra, magnetic measurements and electronic and e.s.r. spectra. The data show that the ligands are neutral and coordinate to manganese in a tetradentate manner; the other axial sites are occupied by the water molecules. Magnetic and e.s.r. data show that manganese(II) adopts a high-spin configuration in the complexes. The electrochemical behaviour of the complexes, determined by cyclic voltammetry, shows that the chelate structure, ligand geometry and electron donating effect of the ligand substituents are among the factors influencing the redox potentials of the complexes. In addition, we note that linear ligands stabilize the manganese(III) state to a greater extent than tripodal ligands and their complexes vigorously catalyse the disproportionation of hydrogen peroxide in the presence of added imidazole.  相似文献

We investigated the deposition rate of aerosol insecticide on through woollen surfaces inside a test chamber. Compared to floor surface, the deposition rate of aerosol insecticide active ingredient on table of 1 m high was up to 2.07 times for piperonyl butoxide, 1.64 times for tetramethrin and 2.95 times for permethrin represented by 0.51, 0.37 and 0.23 μg cm?2 for the three molecules, respectively. Application of the household used cleaning to the woollen table surface decrease these concentrations by 61.32%, 45.01% and 59.80% for the three pesticides respectively, this cleaning procedure still not efficient for the floor surfaces. Moreover, indoor conditions permit the removal of 46.42%, 21.92% and 14.35% of the table surface deposition rate after one week, for the three pesticides, respectively. These conditions ensure the removal of only 28.72%, 20.69% and 24.05% of the three deposit molecules respectively on floor surface.  相似文献

Household insecticide products are common and a popular mode of personal protection against household insect pests in all parts of the world. A chromatographic method for the control of aerosol insecticide active ingredient content was developed to be simple and rapid for the inspection of the numerous products for professional and private uses proposed in the Algerian market. Throughout, the most sold aerosol insecticides only two over eight were fair to the label declaration. In the present investigation we have presented the peristaltic flow of a linear Maxwell model through porous boundaries in a porous medium. The governing non-dimensional partial differential are solved in wave frame by using regular perturbation method and assumed form of solution. We have discussed the problem only for free pumping case. The effects of various physical parameters involved in the problem have been investigated and shown graphically.  相似文献

In the present note, we have discussed the effects of partial slip on the peristaltic flow of a MHD Newtonian fluid in an asymmetric channel. The governing equations of motion and energy are simplified using a long wave length approximation. A closed form solution of the momentum equation is obtained by Adomian decomposition method and an exact solution of the energy equation is presented in the presence of viscous dissipation term. The expression for pressure rise is calculated using numerical integration. The trapping phenomena is also discussed. The graphical results are presented to interpret various physical parameter of interest. It is found that the temperature field decreases with the increase in slip parameter L, and magnetic field M, while with the increase in Pr and Ec, the temperature field increases.  相似文献

Background: The red-complex bacteria are one of the most significant complexes found simultaneously in subgingival plaque next to the periodontal pocket. The current antibacterial treatment is not adequate, and multidrug resistance to it is developing. Henceforth, the antibacterial effect of the ethanolic extract of Nepeta deflersiana was put to test against red-complex bacteria in patients with chronic periodontitis. Methods: Well diffusion and micro broth dilution procedure by Alamar blue were applied to assess the zone of inhibition (ZOI), the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC), and the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC). Anti-virulence efficacies of the plant extract that comprise of adherence and formation of biofilms were examined by the process of adherence and biofilm production assay. Results: The crude extract of Nepeta deflersiana exhibited significant inhibitory outcome against periodontopathic bacteria with noteworthy MIC (0.78–3.12 mg/mL), inhibitory zone (12–20 mm), as well as MBC (3.12–12.50 mg/mL). The N. deflersiana extract inhibited bacterial adhesion ranging from 41% to 52%, 53% to 66%, and 60% to 79% at the given MIC × 0.5, MIC × 1, and MIC × 2 in succession. Substantial suppression was also developed in the biofilm production of the investigated periodontopathic strains following exposure to numerous concentrations of N. deflersianan extract for a period of 24 and 48 h. Conclusion: These outcomes divulge a new concept that N. deflersiana extract can be utilized to manufacture valuable antibacterial compounds to treat chronic and acute periodontitis.
