Present paper deals with the structural, magnetic and transport studies of as-deposited as well as annealed Co/GaAs(0 0 1) thin film at different temperatures. The X-ray diffraction measurements show oriented growth of as-deposited Co film in the hcp (0 0 2) direction. However, the sample annealed at higher temperatures shows formation of ternary Co2GaAs phase at the interface. Corresponding magnetic and transport measurements show decrement in magnetization and resistivity with annealing temperatures. The observed reductions in magnetization and resistivity values are mainly attributed to the formation of ternary Co2GaAs phase at the interface. 相似文献

The energies of negative-parity levels based on two-particle states exhibit a nonlinear behavior at low spins versus the core-rotation energy because the alignment process has not yet been completed for them. This behavior of negative-parity levels in the low-spin region is satisfactorily described upon the inclusion of octupole-octupole interactions. Magnetic-structure distortions induced by an external magnetic field near a rough surface of a uniaxial collinear antiferromagnet are analyzed using mathematical modeling. The “magnetic field-roughness” phase diagram of these distortions is constructed. It is demonstrated that, under specific conditions, the presence of atomic steps leads to the formation of domains in the surface layer of the antiferromagnet. In the case of a strong roughness, there arise static vortices at the surface and a 90° domain wall aligned parallel to the surface of the antiferromagnet. 相似文献

It was detected for the first time that films consisting of a transition-metal-based structure form (via thermal diffusion
of intracrystalline impurities) on the surface of alkali-halide (LiF, NaF) crystals activated by transition metals Co, Ni,
or Mn. The thickness, density, and composition of the films are shown to be different, depending on the heat treatment conditions.
The crystals were annealed at temperatures varying from 473 to 1073 K in vacuum and air. The surface structures forming upon
annealing in vacuum exhibit magnetic properties. The films were studied by optical, x-ray fluorescence, and electron spectroscopy

Forecasting electricity prices in presentday competitive electricity markets is a must for both producers and consumers because both need price estimates to develop their respective market bidding strategies. This paper proposes a transfer function model to predict electricity prices based on both past electricity prices and demands, and discuss the rationale to build it. The importance of electricity demand information is assessed. Appropriate metrics to appraise prediction quality are identified and used. Previously formulated monotonicity criteria for explicit two-level difference schemes designed for hyperbolic equations (S.K. Godunov’s, A. Harten’s (TVD schemes), characteristic criteria) are extended to multileveled, including implicit, stencils. The characteristic monotonicity criterion is used to develop a universal algorithm for constructing high-order accurate nonlinear monotone schemes (for an arbitrary form of the desired solution) based on their analysis in the space of grid functions. Several new fourth-to-third-order accurate monotone difference schemes on a compact three-level stencil and nonexpanding (three-point) stencils are proposed for an extended system, which ensures their monotonicity for both the desired function and its derivatives. The running coupling and the Kugo-Ojima parameter of unquenched lattice Landau gauge are simulated and compared with the continuum
theory. Although the running coupling measured by the ghost and gluon dressing function is infrared suppressed, the running
coupling has a maximum of α0 ∼ 2 − 2.5 at around q = 0.5 GeV irrespective of the fermion actions (Wilson fermions and Kogut-Susskind (KS) fermions). The Kugo-Ojima parameter
c which saturated to about 0.8 in quenched simulations becomes consistent with 1 in the MILC configurations produced with the
use of the Asqtad action, after averaging the dependence on polarization directions caused by the asymmetry of the lattice.
The presence of the correction factor 1 + c
1/q
2 in the running coupling depends on the lattice size and the sea quark mass. In the large lattice size and small sea quark
mass, c
1 is confirmed of the order of a few GeV. The MILC configuration of a = 0.09 fm suggests also the presence of dimension-4 condensates with a sign opposite to the dimension-2 condensates. The
gluon propagator, the ghost propagator, and the running coupling are compared with recent pQCD results including an anomalous
