Synchronization of Genesio chaotic system via backstepping approach

Backstepping design is proposed for synchronization of Genesio chaotic system. Firstly, the control problem for the chaos synchronization of nominal Genesio systems without unknown parameters is considered. Next, an adaptive backstepping control law is derived to make the error signals between drive Genesio system and response Genesio system with an uncertain parameter asymptotically synchronized. Finally, the approach is extended to the synchronization problem for the system with three unknown parameters. The stability analysis in this article is proved by using a well-known Lyapunov stability theorem. Note that the approach provided here needs only a single controller to realize the synchronization. Two numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed chaos synchronization scheme.     

养殖池塘沉积物的重金属分布及污染特征

浙江省淅西北地区淡水养殖池塘沉积物重金属调查研究表明，养殖池塘沉积物中7种重金属元素分布不均衡，差异也较大，除Hg和Cr元素外，其余重金属元素已大大超过土壤本底值．虽然其实测含量都未超出国家规定的标准值范围，但沉积物中重金属元素对养殖水环境、养殖品种存在的潜在污染与危害值得关注．污染指数评价显示，养殖池塘沉积物中主要污染物质为Cu和Cr，而Hg、Pb污染程度相对较轻．     

A New Cytotoxic Acetogenin from the Seeds of Annona squamosa

A New Annonaceous acetogenin,squamostolide(1),was isolated from the seeds of Annona squamosa.Its structure was elucidated based on spectroscopic methods and comparison with known compounds.It is the first example of Annonaceous acetogenin with each of the two ends of the aliphatic chain bearing a γ-lactone.Thenew compound exhibited cytotoxic activity in vitro against bel-7402 and CNE2 human tumor cell lines.     

炉液倾动重心近似计算的数学分析

为给转炉设计提供依据,需要计算炉液倾动的重心.利用数学方法将实际问题进行简化,通过分析炉液倾动过程中变量间的相互关系,来确定每个倾动角度对应情况下的液面位置.利用数学中三重积分的有关应用,进一步得出转炉在每个倾动角度为α∈(0,π2)时的重心计算方法及相关结论,在理论上为工程计算重心的方法提供参考.     

Hydrolysis of palm kernel olein in AOT-isooctane-water reversed micelles

Rhizopus arrhizus lipase (EC 3.1.1.3; triacylglycerol hydrolase) was used in this study to investigate the hydrolysis of palm kernel olein in AOT-isooctane-water reversed micelle system at W_o = 13, pH = 7, and T = 30?C. The hydrolytic reaction obeys Michaelis-Menten kinetics for substrate concentrations in the range (0.175 and 0.877M). The apparentK _m and V_max for the substrate were 0.397M (equivalent to 9.06% w/v) and 5523 U/mg protein, respectively. Product inhibition with a dissociation constant of the enzyme-product complex,K _I = 9.74 mM, was confirmed. Experimental results from the change of product concentrations with respect to time correlated sufficiently with those predicted theoretically from the rate equation for a reaction time up to 100 min. However, the discrepancy between the observed results and the predicted ones would increase with reaction time. Possible reasons for this deviation were discussed.     

Dual effects of fullerene doped to holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystals

Doping of conductive fullerene particles to the formulation of conventional holographic polymer dispersed liquid crystal‐induced dual effects of reducing both droplet coalescence and operating voltage. Fullerene induced an induction period which otherwise does not exist, followed by a gradual increase of diffraction efficiency to a saturation value being increased with increasing fullerene content. The increased diffraction efficiency was caused by the decreased droplet coalescence which was due to the hindered migration of LC by the fullerene particles. On the other hand, doped fullerene particles augmented the conductivity of polymer phase and hence the local electrical field imposed on LC droplet, which overcome the threshold for driving and reduced operating voltage and response times. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 液相外延GaAs1-xPx混晶的光学声子、等离子体激元和LO声子-等离子体激元耦合模

在40—700cm^-1波数和4.2—300K温度范围内研究了不同组份液相外延n型CaAs_1-xP_x样品的红外反射谱。对反射谱进行了赝谐振子拟合与K-K关系计算。从而获得了有关描述CaAs_1-xP_x样品的光学声子模、等离子体激元、LO声子-等离子体激元耦合模的重要物理参量及红外光学常数信息。基于这些计算结果,提出了双导带谷并计及与X能谷相联系的施主能级模型,用它解释等离子体激元频率和实验观察的三支主要的耦合模的温度变化规律。 关键词：     

A NEW MATRIX METHOD FOR SOLVING VIBRATION AND STABILITY OF CURVED PIPES CONVEYING FLUID

This paper proposes a new matrix method for calculating critical flow velocity of curved pipes conveying fluid, which have arbitrary centerline shape and spring supports. Its main advantage over other methods is that the corresponding characteristic equation can be reduced to a third order one, no matter how many elements are discretized in calculation. This will lead to saving computer time and obtaining a solution with good precision.     

Synchronization of a class of chaotic dynamic systems with controller gain variations

In this paper, the nonfragile control problem for synchronization of a class of chaotic dynamical systems with controller gain variations is studied. Using the Lyapunov method and LMI (linear matrix inequality) technique, a criterion for the existence of the nonfragile controller for synchronization is derived in terms of LMI. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, the control problem is applied to Genesio chaotic system.
