A brief summary of dilational surface viscoelatic properties of spread and adsorbed surfactant polymer films at the air-water interface is reported. The viscoelastic moduli have been measured as a function of frequency and surface pressure. The combination of several techniques, oscillating drop and barrier experiments and electrocapillary waves (ECW), has allowed us to investigate a broad frequency range. The dynamic elasticity epsilon shows a slight change with frequency and a noticeable pressure dependence for both kinds of monolayers. In the spread films, elasticity increases steeply with surface pressure, and reaches a constant value before the polymer begins to dissolve into the bulk. On the other hand, the adsorbed films exhibit a pronounced elasticity maximum, followed by a considerable decay when a loose surface structure is formed. The position of the maximum depends on the polymer chemical composition and molecular weight. The results on the overlapping surface pressure range confirm the dynamic equivalence of spread and adsorbed monolayers. At low surface concentration, the agreement between static and dynamic elasticity is quite satisfactory, but the values diverge considerably at higher surface pressures. The loss modulus omegakappa decreases monotonically with increasing omega, becoming zero (it can even take apparent negative values) for the highest frequencies. The frequency dependence of the elasticity has been well described by the diffusive control model of Lucassen-van den Tempel (LVT). However, its predictions for omegakappa do not coincide with the experimental data. The differences between experimental and theoretical values increase at low frequencies. 相似文献

A novel chemical sensor for the colorimetric detection of mercuric salts is described. The sensor is based on a mesoporous nanocrystalline TiO2 film sensitised with a ruthenium dye; immersion of this film in an aqueous solution of Hg2+ results in a rapid colorimetric response, with both a high selectivity and a sub-micromolar sensitivity. 相似文献

TpMo(CO)2(5-alkenyl-eta-2,3,4-pyranyl) diene complexes function as excellent chiral scaffolds for the efficient regio- and enantiocontrolled synthesis of highly functionalized 1-oxadecaline derivatives through a novel transition metal-mediated Diels-Alder reaction. Very good to excellent yields and excellent levels of endo selectivity are obtained, and the reaction gives products with complete retention of enantiomeric purity when carried out with chiral, nonracemic scaffolds. A subtle structural modification on the diene (replacement of an H by a trans-CH3 group) leads to a complete change of regiochemistry, which is discussed from a mechanistic point of view. The role of the eta3-coordinated TpMo(CO)2 moiety is also critical to the further functionalization of the [4 + 2] cycloadducts, as illustrated by the preparation of 20 variously functionalized 1-oxadecaline derivatives (>98% ee when carried out with high enantiopurity scaffolds). 相似文献

Carboranyl aldehydes react with alpha,beta-unsaturated esters, ketones, and nitriles in the presence of DABCO to provide functionalized carboranyl alcohols in good yields. Acetates of these alcohols undergo a facile isomerization with a variety of nucleophiles and afford structurally interesting carboranes. An extensive study of the redox properties of metal nitride endohedral fullerenes (MNEFs) based on DFT computational calculations has been performed. The electronic structure of the singly oxidized and reduced MNEFs has been thoroughly analyzed and the first anodic and cathodic potentials, as well as the electrochemical gaps, have been predicted for a large number of M3N@C2n systems (M=Sc, Y, La, and Gd; 2n=80, 84, 88, 92, and 96). In particular, calculations that include thermal and entropic effects correctly predict the different anodic behavior of the two isomers (Ih and D5h) of Sc3N@C80, which is the basis for their electrochemical separation. Important differences were found in the electronic structure of reduced M3N@C80 when M=Sc or when M is a more electropositive metal, such as Y or Gd. Moreover, the changes in the electrochemical gaps within the Gd3N@C2n series (2n=80, 84, and 88) have been rationalized and the use of Y‐based computational models to study the Gd‐based systems has been justified. The redox properties of the largest MNEFs characterized so far, La3N@C2n (2n=92 and 96), were also correctly predicted. Finally, the quality of these predictions and their usefulness in distinguishing the carbon cages for MNEFs with unknown structures is discussed. 相似文献

The first example of a self‐propelled tubular motor that releases an enzyme for the efficient biocatalytic degradation of chemical pollutants is demonstrated. How the motors are self‐propelled by the Marangoni effect, involving simultaneous release of SDS surfactant and the enzyme remediation agent (laccase) in the polluted sample, is illustrated. The movement induces fluid convection and leads to the rapid dispersion of laccase into the contaminated solution and to a dramatically accelerated biocatalytic decontamination process. The greatly improved degradation efficiency, compared to quiescent solutions containing excess levels of the free enzyme, is illustrated for the efficient biocatalytic degradation of phenolic and azo‐type pollutants. The high efficiency of the motor‐based decontamination approach makes it extremely attractive for a wide‐range of remediation processes in the environmental, defense and public health fields. 相似文献

作为一类具有较高生物活性的物质,药物及个人护理品对环境的污染引起人们越来越多的关注.对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦是两种使用广泛的药物,由于其潜在的对人类健康和生态安全的威胁而逐渐成为研究热点.而电化学辅助光氧化技术因其具备能够高效处理难降解化学品的优点而得到广泛使用.本文合成了纳米多孔二氧化钛电极,研究了电化学还原处理对纳米多孔二氧化钛电极辅助光电化学降解对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦的影响.使用扫描电镜和色散谱技术对合成的纳米多孔二氧化钛电极的形态和元素组成进行了表征.循环伏安法、莫特-肖特基曲线、紫外-可见分光光度计和总有机碳分析仪被用来研究对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦的光电化学降解过程.结果显示,对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦的光化学降解和电化学降解过程非常缓慢,在研究的时间范围内其浓度未见明显变化,因此可以忽略不计.但是对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦的光电化学降解速度比较快,与未经处理的纳米多孔二氧化钛电极相比,经过电化学还原处理的电极可以使对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦的光电化学降解分别提高86.96%和53.12%.这可能是由于在电化学还原处理过程中生成了Ti3+, Ti2+和氧空位以及导电性的提高.还研究了温度对对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦光电化学降解的影响,随着温度升高,对乙酰氨基酚和伐昔洛韦的光电化学降解速率增大. 相似文献

A catalytic process is demonstrated for the selective conversion of methane into carbon monoxide via oxychlorination chemistry. The process involves addition of HCl to a CH4–O2 feed to facilitate C?H bond activation under mild conditions, leading to the formation of chloromethanes, CH3Cl and CH2Cl2. The latter are oxidized in situ over the same catalyst, yielding CO and recycling HCl. A material exhibiting chlorine evolution by HCl oxidation, high activity to oxidize chloromethanes into CO, and no ability to oxidize CO, is therefore essential to accomplish this target. Following these design criteria, vanadyl pyrophosphate (VPO) was identified as an outstanding catalyst, exhibiting a CO yield up to approximately 35 % at 96 % selectivity and stable behavior. These findings constitute a basis for the development of a process enabling the on‐site valorization of stranded natural‐gas reserves using CO as a highly versatile platform molecule. 相似文献

According to the well-accepted mechanism, methyl-coenzyme M reductase (MCR) involves Ni-mediated thiolate-to-disulfide conversion that sustains its catalytic cycle of methane formation in the energy saving pathways of methanotrophic microbes. Model complexes that illustrate Ni-ion mediated reversible thiolate/disulfide transformation are unknown. In this paper we report the synthesis, crystal structure, spectroscopic properties and redox interconversions of a set of NiII complexes comprising a tridentate N2S donor thiol and its analogous N4S2 donor disulfide ligands. These complexes demonstrate reversible NiII-thiolate/NiII-disulfide (both bound and unbound disulfide-S to NiII) transformations via thiyl and disulfide monoradical anions that resemble a primary step of MCR's catalytic cycle. 相似文献
