A simple and sensitive sequential injection spectrophotometric procedure is proposed for the determination of trace amounts of iodide in pharmaceutical preparations. The method is based on the catalytic effect of iodide on the (tetra base) 4,4′-methylenebis(N,N-dimethylaniline)-chloramine-T reaction in acidic solution. The method involves a sequential aspiration of 255 μl sample/standard followed by 170 μl tetra base and then 128 μl chloramine-T solutions into a carrier stream to be stacked inside a holding coil and flow reversed through a reaction coil towards a detector. The resulting colored compound is measured at 600 nm using an UV/Vis-spectrophotometer. All the parameters that affect the reaction were evaluated and the calibration curve is linear over a range of 0.1–6.0 μg l−1 of iodide concentration with detection limit of 0.05 μg l−1. A sample throughput of 80 samples per hour and relative standard deviation of less than 2.0% was achieved. SiO2-ZrO2 based nanostructured multilayers films have been prepared by sol–gel processing from metallorganic precursors by low temperature inorganic polymerization reactions. Simultaneous gelation of both precursors was realized. Homogeneous and transparent films were obtained at room temperature by dip- and spin-coating on glass and silicon wafer substrates. Samples with successively deposited layers (1–3 layers) and successive thermal treatments have been also studied. Each deposited layer was thermally treated for 1 h at 300°C. The coatings were characterized by XRD, spectroellipsometry (SE), UV-VIS spectroscopy and AFM methods. The influence of substrates, number of coatings and number of thermal treatments on the optical and structural properties of the films was established. The thickness of three deposited SiO2-ZrO2 layers is about 496 nm on glass substrates and 413 nm on the silicon wafer substrate. The films deposited on glass are more porous than those deposited on silicon. The properties of optical waveguide prepared from SiO2-ZrO2 layers on silicon substrates will be discussed. 相似文献

Novel electrochemical sensors based on carbon paste impregnated with metallopthalocyanine (MPc, M=Co, Fe) complexes, have been constructed for the assay of anti‐HIV drug 2′,3′‐dideoxyinosine (didanosine, DDI). Both modified electrodes showed electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of dideoxyinosine in phosphate buffer pH 7.4 with a working concentration range of 10?6–10?4 mol/L and a detection limit of 10?7 mol/L magnitude order. Complexes consisting of poly(4-vinylpyridine) and mesogenic wedge-shaped ligands 4'-[3",4",5"-tris(dodecyloxy)benzoyloxy]azobenzene-4-sulfonic acid and 4'-[3",4",5"-tris(octyloxy)benzoyloxy]azobenzene-4-sulfonic acid have been prepared with different monomer/ligand ratios. Upon protonation of the poly(4-vinylpyridine) chains by the wedge-shaped sulfonic acid molecules a hypsochromic and hyperchromic effect was observed with the pi-pi* transition of the azo-chromophor, allowing us to monitor the neutralization process by means of UV-vis spectroscopy in solution. The changes of the absorption characteristics implied a conformational change of the polymer backbone. In the bulk the interaction between pyridine and sulfonic acid moieties was proved by FT-IR spectroscopy. Polarizing optical microscopy, differential scanning calorimetry, and X-ray diffraction measurements were used to study the bulk structure of the complexes. The complexes formed a liquid crystalline lamellar phase at low degrees of substitution, while a hexagonal columnar mesophase was observed at degrees of neutralization of 80% and higher. 相似文献

In this laboratory study, model particles of ammonium sulfate (AS) and ammonium nitrate (AN) were exposed to chlorine atoms and uptake experiments were performed in a coated wall flow tube reactor coupled to a molecular beam mass spectrometer. The reactive surfaces were prepared by coating the inner surface of the reactor using two different methods: either by depositing size-selected particles on the halocarbon wax or by spray depositing thin films using a constant output atomizer. The observed uptake coefficients vary for (NH(4))(2)SO(4), ranging from γ(Cl)(AS)≈ 1 × 10(-3) for size-selected particles to γ(Cl)(AS)≈ 6 × 10(-2) for thin films prepared by spray. An uptake coefficient of γ(Cl)(AN)≈ 2.5 × 10(-3) of Cl˙ on size-selected NH(4)NO(3) particles was measured. A heterogeneous recombination of Cl atoms to from Cl(2) molecules was observed for the two surfaces. Furthermore, an ageing process was observed for AS particles, this phenomenon leading to the formation of new chlorine species on the solid substrate. 相似文献

High resolution Brillouin light scattering can sensitively detect acoustic phonons in concentrated solutions of a high molecular weight poly(styrene-b-isoprene) symmetric copolymer in toluene. This block copolymer lamellar forming system also possesses a photonic stop band in the visible spectrum. Based on the low but finite contrast in mechanical properties between the styrene and isoprene components and taking into account the geometrical characteristics of the layered microstructure, we calculate the acoustic band structure and represent the observed acousticlike and opticlike phonons. 相似文献
