The study of superconductivity, dual superconductivity and color superconductivity has been undertaken through the breaking
of super symmetric gauge theory in restricted chromo dynamics (RCD) which automatically incorporates the condensation of monopoles
and dyons leading to confining and superconducting phases. Dyonic supermultiplets in N=1 super symmetry have been obtained quantum mechanically in RCD and it has been shown that dyon appears in RCD theory only
through restricted part of the generalized potential and it is only this part of this potential which is responsible for quark

This study was to validate the feasibility of using a magnetic resonance imaging-guidewire (MRIG) for intravascular 3.0 T
MR imaging of deep-seated arterial walls of large animals. The functionality of a 0.032-in. MRIG was evaluated and the signal-to-noise
ratio (SNR) was calculated. Then, MRI of ten iliofemoral arteries of six pigs was acquired by MRIG and surface coil. The difference
in the SNRs of the arterial walls between different coils was compared. Histology examined the potential thermal injuries
of the imaged vessels. The MRIG functioned with the 3.0 T MR scanner. The average SNR of the arterial walls was significantly
higher with the MRIG than with the surface coils (76.22 ± 34.76 vs. 12.63 ± 4.25, P < 0.01). Histology showed no evidence of thermal injuries at the vessel walls. This study validated the feasibility of generating
intravascular 3.0 T MRI of deep-seated arterial walls in large animals, which should facilitate the translation of this technique

The relationship between bias-induced redox reactions and resistance switching is considered for memory devices containing TiO2 or a conducting polymer in “molecular heterojunctions” consisting of thin (2–25 nm) films of covalently bonded molecules, polymers, and oxides. Raman spectroscopy was used to monitor changes in the oxidation state of polythiophene in Au/P3HT/SiO2/Au devices, and it was possible to directly determine the formation and stability of the conducting polaron state of P3HT by applied bias pulses [P3HT = poly(3-hexyl thiophene)]. Polaron formation was strongly dependent on junction composition, particularly on the interfaces between the polymer, oxide, and electrodes. In all cases, trace water was required for polaron formation, leading to the proposal that water reduction acts as a redox counter-reaction to polymer oxidation. Polaron stability was longest for the case of a direct contact between Au and SiO2, implying that catalytic water reduction at the Au surface generated hydroxide ions which stabilized the cationic polaron. The spectroscopic information about the dependence of polaron stability on device composition will be useful for designing and monitoring resistive switching memory based on conducting polymers, with or without TiO2 present. 相似文献

In this work, the printing mechanism of an alginate-based hydrogel via laser-induced forward transfer (LIFT) is investigated by spatial and temporal high-resolved stroboscopic imaging. First, the generation of the liquid jet is studied at two different laser fluences in a process without collector slide. Furthermore, the impingement process onto the collector slide at the same fluence levels is observed. With the help of these images the development of the jet is explained. Efficient passive mode locking of a diode-pumped Yb3+:LuYSiO5 (Yb:LYSO) laser is first demonstrated in experiment using a semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM), to the best
of our knowledge. A stable pulse train with a repetition rate of 101 MHz is generated. The average output power of 2.13 W
and the pulse duration of 3.9 ps. With a pair of SF10 uncoated prisms for dispersion compensation, we obtained pulses as short

The preparation of natural product-like polyhydroxylated pyrrolidine and piperidine alkaloids using a combination of solid–
and solution-phase organic synthesis is described. The key intermediates, enantiopure five- or six-membered tri-O-benzyl cyclic nitrones, were efficiently prepared on solid support from accessible chiral furanosides and pyranosides, respectively.
The substituent diversity was achieved by a diastereoselective addition of a variety of Grignard reagents to the cyclic nitrones
in solution-phase synthesis. All reaction steps and work-up procedures were modified to allow the use of automated equipment.
A 36-membered demonstration library with three diversity elements (core, configuration, and substituent) was prepared in good

Single-phase perovskite compound La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 was synthesised by a high-energy ball milling in a single step processing. Structure and morphology characterizations revealed nanoparticle nature of this mixed valent manganite with the average particle diameter of 9 nm. Comprehensive set of magnetic measurements showed that the system can be described as an ensemble of interacting magnetic nanoparticles where each particle possesses high magnetic moment, i.e., superspin. Furthermore, magnetic behavior showed contributions from both superspin-glass (SSG) and superparamagnetic (SP) states, and the prevailing properties depended on the experimental conditions. It was established that SSG state dominated in low magnetic fields up to 500 Oe while in higher applied fields suppression of collective behavior occurred and individual characteristics of nanoparticles prevailed. It was also concluded that the applied method of synthesis produced system with high magnetic anisotropy as well as with the large nanoparticle shell whose thickness amounts 30% of a particle diameter. 相似文献
