We demonstrate a self-starting Kerr-lens mode-locked (KLM) Yb:YAG thin-disk oscillator operating in the regime of positive intracavity group-delay dispersion (GDD). It delivers 1.7?ps pulses at an average power of 17?W and a repetition rate of 40?MHz. Dispersive mirrors compress the pulses to a duration of 190?fs (assuming sech2 shape; Fourier limit: 150?fs) at an average power level of 11?W. To our knowledge, this is the first KLM thin-disk oscillator with positive GDD. Output powers of up to 30?W were achieved with an increased output coupler transmission and intracavity GDD. We demonstrate increase of the pulse energy with increasing positive intracavity GDD, limited by difficulties in initiating mode-locking.  相似文献

The nature of the contribution (additional to the phonon one) to the permittivity of bismuth ferrite ceramics has been studied using submillimeter and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. It has been shown that its numerical value depends on morphological features of samples, and the nature is determined by the defectness and crystallite interfaces. The effect of structure-phase features of bismuth ferrite ceramics on antiferromagnetic resonance line frequencies is indicated.  相似文献

New facile methodology for the preparation of pentavalent iodine compounds using peracetic acid as an oxidant in the presence of catalytic amounts of ruthenium trichloride is described. This paper reports on a study of crystallization of thin lead zirconate-titanate films deposited on Si/SiO2/Pt substrates by RF magnetron sputtering at a low temperature and annealed at 540–580°C. In this temperature interval, one observes successively two first-order phase transitions: the low-temperature pyrochlore phase—perovskite-I phase and perovskite-I phase-perovskite-II phase transitions, which are accompanied by film volume shrinkage. The phase transformations have been studied by atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and visual (optical) observation of the growth of islands of a new phase. It has been found that the dielectric parameters undergo substantial changes upon the transition from phase I to phase II. The origin of the observed effects has been discussed.  相似文献

Core-level photoelectron spectroscopy with synchrotron radiation (hv = 140 eV) has been applied to study the variation in the Si+ charge state in silicon films deposited on the W(100) surface after thermal annealing of the substrate. The purpose of this study is to check the mechanism responsible for the sharp increase in the yield of Na+ ions in electron-stimulated desorption from a sodium layer adsorbed on the Si/W(100) surface after high-temperature annealing. The evolution of the W 4f 7/2 and Si 2p photoelectron spectra and the valence band photoemission spectra is investigated for two silicon coverages (1 and 3 ML) on the W(100) surface in the temperature range 300<T<2200 K. It is shown that annealing of 1 ML Si on the W(100) surface results in the formation of a W-Si covalent bond, which can weaken the Si-Na bond and lead to an increase in the equilibrium distance X 0 and, hence, to an increase in the yield of Na+ ions in electron-stimulated desorption. The variation in the photoelectron spectra under annealing of 3 ML Si differs from that observed after annealing of 1 ML Si in the direction of charge transfer, thus correlating with the opposite effect of annealing of 3 ML Si/W on the Na+ yield in electron-stimulated desorption.  相似文献

Comparative analysis of pyroelectric and piezoelectric hysteresis loops of thin PbZr0.54Ti0.46O3 + 10 mol % PbO films formed under the same conditions on pyroceram and silicon substrates has been performed. The significant differences in the behavior of the parameters under study are attributed to the different character of the biaxial stress acting on a ferroelectric film from pyroceram and silicon substrates.  相似文献

Results are presented from an investigation of the hard X-ray spectrum and the parameters of fast particles in experiments on the interaction of laser pulses with solid targets in the PROGRESS-P facility at laser intensities of up to 5×1018 W/cm2 on the target surface. The maximum energy of fast electrons obtained from direct measurements is found to be 8–10 MeV.  相似文献
