The structure and dielectric properties of thin lead zirconate titanate films grown ex situ on Pt/SiO2/Si substrates were studied. It was shown that with a crystallization temperature increase in the range of 540 to 580°C, the mechanism of perovskite phase growth changes and the ferroelectric parameters change according to this transformation.  相似文献

This paper reports on a study of the electrical properties of 0.7–1-μm-thick textured PZT ferroelectric films prepared by rf magnetron sputtering of a PbZr0.54Ti0.46O3 target which additionally contained 10 mol % lead oxide. Such films are shown to feature a combination of a self-polarized state and migratory polarization. The totality of the data obtained suggest that the films had n-type conduction. As shown by the laser beam modulation technique, the polarization was distributed nonuniformly in depth, with most of the poled state localized near the lower interface of the thin-film ferroelectric capacitor. The mechanism underlying the onset of this self-polarization is related to the charging of the lower interface of the structure by electrons, which occurs during the cooling following the high-temperature treatment of the PZT film, and to poling of the bulk of the film by the charged interface. Polarized spectra of reflectance R(ν) and transmittance Tr(ν) of single-crystal CdTiO3 samples have been obtained in the frequency range 7 < ν < 1000 cm?1 and for temperatures from 5 to 300 K using IR Fourier spectroscopy and submillimeter-range techniques. Dispersion analysis was carried out in terms of the additive-oscillator model, and dielectric responses ε(ν) and ε″(ν) were calculated. The polar modes were assigned to particular symmetry types, and their oscillator parameters (dielectric contributions, normal frequencies, damping constants) were determined. The numerical values of the components of the static permittivity tensor, ε11 and ε33, are shown to be almost fully determined by the total dielectric contributions due to the B3u and B1u phonons, respectively. In the low-frequency domain, lines showing anomalous behavior of the oscillator parameters, which is characteristic of soft ferroelectric modes, were observed. It is shown that, in CdTiO3 at cryogenic temperatures, there exist several different polar states with switching in the direction of the spontaneous polarization vector.  相似文献

Resonance magnetoabsorption spectra of CuGeO3 single crystals containing 2% Co impurity have been studied in the frequency range 60–360 GHz in magnetic fields of up to 16 T and in the temperature interval 2–60 K with the magnetic field B aligned parallel to the a crystallographic axis. In addition to the Cu2+ chain resonance, a new absorption line (unobserved previously in doped CuGeO3 and deriving apparently from the Co2+ ions) was detected in EPR spectra. Quantitative analysis of the spectra suggests that the spin-Peierls transition occurs in about 10% Cu2+ chains, while the spin-Peierls state in the remaining 90% chains is completely destroyed by cobalt doping. The results obtained reveal considerable deviations from the universally accepted scenario of CuGeO3 doping and are discussed within alternative theoretical models, namely, the quantum critical behavior (based on the EPR theory for quasi-one-dimensional systems) and a three-dimensional antiferromagnet with the Néel temperature lowered by disorder.  相似文献

Solid-phase formation of ultrathin CoSi2 layers on Si(100)2×1 was studied using high-resolution (~140 meV) photoelectron spectroscopy with synchrotron radiation (hν=130 eV). The evolution of Si 2p spectra was recorded both under deposition of cobalt on the surface of samples maintained at room temperature and in the course of their subsequent annealing. It was shown that Co adsorption on Si(100)2×1 is accompanied by a loss of reconstruction of the original silicon surface while not bringing about the formation of a stable CoSi2-like phase. As the amount of deposited cobalt continues to increase (up to six monolayers), a discontinuous film of the Co-Si solid solution begins to grow on the silicon surface coated by chemisorbed cobalt. The solid-phase reaction of CoSi2 formation starts at a temperature close to 250°C and ends after the samples have been annealed to ~350°C.  相似文献

The effect of uniaxial tension on the behavior of graphite segregates (islets) on the surface of recrystallized platinum foil is studied in situ by low-energy electron diffraction and Auger electron spectroscopy. Mechanical stresses are shown to have a significant influence on the size and orientation of the islets. The alignment of the islets along steps on the platinum surface is discovered.  相似文献

Investigations of the temperature dependences of the magnetic permeability and dielectric permittivity in the temperature range 4.2 K⩽T ⩽300 K and the field dependence of the magnetization M(B) in fields B⩽50 T show that the magnetic properties of the complex (ET)2C60 cannot be described on the basis of the standard model, which assumes that the paramagnetic oxygen impurity makes the dominant contribution. It is found that the magnetism in (ET)2C60 is due to the diamagnetic properties of the C60 and ET molecules and to specific paramagnetic centers of the type C 60 , which possess an anomalously low g factor |g|≈0.14. In the last few decades, significant progress has been achieved in the development of generators and detectors of terahertz radiation (at frequencies in the range from ≈300 GHz to ≈3 THz). Different terahertz spectroscopic techniques have been widely used now in investigating semiconductors, superconductors, molecular magnets, multiferroics, metamaterials, and other promising objects. It has been demonstrated that terahertz spectroscopy offers wide but not completely realized possibilities for studying quantum phase transitions in electron-correlated systems.  相似文献
