A range of new C-4 heteroaromatic acromelic acid analogues has been synthesized in a parallel fashion from (-)-alpha-kainic acid 1. Protection of the amine and carboxylate groups of 1 followed by ozonolysis gave methyl ketone 8. A silyl enol ether 9, generated regiospecifically from the methyl ketone 8 using "kinetic" conditions, was brominated in situ with phenyltrimethylammonium perbromide to give the key alpha-bromo ketone 10. Parallel cyclization reactions of bromo ketone 10 with thioamides and thioureas were then performed. The aromatic heterocyclic derivatives 11a-d and 19 produced were deprotected to give the new kainoid amino acids 6a-d and 25 in excellent yield. Compounds 6a and 6c show strong binding to the kainate receptor. Reaction of 10 with alternative condensing agents was also briefly investigated. 相似文献

The direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide offers a potentially green route to the production of this important commodity chemical. Early studies showed that Pd is a suitable catalyst, but recent work indicated that the addition of Au enhances the activity and selectivity significantly. The addition of a third metal using impregnation as a facile preparation method was thus investigated. The addition of a small amount of Pt to a CeO2‐supported AuPd (weight ratio of 1:1) catalyst significantly enhanced the activity in the direct synthesis of H2O2 and decreased the non‐desired over‐hydrogenation and decomposition reactions. The addition of Pt to the AuPd nanoparticles influenced the surface composition, thus leading to the marked effects that were observed on the catalytic formation of hydrogen peroxide. In addition, an experimental approach that can help to identify the optimal nominal ternary alloy compositions for this reaction is demonstrated. 相似文献

The kinetic energy of an atom recoiling due to absorption of a photon was measured as a frequency, using an interferometric technique called "contrast interferometry." Optical standing wave pulses were used to create a symmetric three-path interferometer with a Bose-Einstein condensate. Its recoil phase, measurable with a single shot, varies quadratically with additional recoils and is insensitive to errors from vibrations and ac Stark shifts. We have measured the photon recoil frequency of sodium to 7 ppm precision, using a simple realization of this scheme. Plausible extensions should yield sufficient precision to attain a ppb-level determination of h/m and the fine structure constant alpha. 相似文献

Spectral interferences on the S I 180.73 nm emission line by Al, Ca, Mn and Fe in an inductively coupled plasma are described. The critical concentration ratios for Ca, Mn, Al and Fe with respect to S are 90, 300, 3300 and 25000 respectively (full width at half maximum = 0.0075 nm). Intensity measurements at various observation zones in the plasma show that the spectral interference from Ca and Mn emission line overlaps may be reduced by observing the S emission at a lower observation height in the plasma. 相似文献

Maximum lift-to-drag ratio airfoils at moderate supersonic speeds are determined using Ackeret's linear theory for the forebody pressure coefficient and Chapman's experimental results for the base pressure coefficient. Two cases are investigated for both laminar flow and turbulent flow: (i) given length and thickness and (ii) given length and enclosed area.For case (i), it is shown that the maximum lift-to-drag ratio airfoil is identical with the minimum drag airfoil. Furthermore, for turbulent flow and given Mach number and Reynolds number, two critical values of the thickness ratio exist, 1 and 2. For 1, the optimum airfoil is a diamond shape with a closed trailing edge and exhibits maximum thickness at midchord; for 12, the optimum airfoil is a diamond shape with a blunt trailing edge and exhibits maximum thickness between midchord and the trailing edge; finally, for 2, the optimum airfoil is a wedge and exhibits maximum thickness at the trailing edge.For case (ii), it is shown that the maximum lift-to-drag ratio is identical with the minimum drag airfoil. Two spatially separate Bose-Einstein condensates were prepared in an optical double-well potential. A bidirectional coupling between the two condensates was established by two pairs of Bragg beams which continuously outcoupled atoms in opposite directions. The atomic currents induced by the optical coupling depend on the relative phase of the two condensates and on an additional controllable coupling phase. This was observed through symmetric and antisymmetric correlations between the two outcoupled atom fluxes. A Josephson optical coupling of two condensates in a ring geometry is proposed. The continuous outcoupling method was used to monitor slow relative motions of two elongated condensates and characterize the trapping potential. 相似文献
