Schroedinger's equation with separable n-p (3S1) and potentials solved to obtain a three-body model of the 6Li ground-state wave function. This model predicts the α-n-p binding energy of 6Li to be 4.67 MeV [Exp.: 4.53 MeV = 3.697 + 0.834 (Coulomb)], the asymptotic normalization constant of the d-α tail to be 2.39, and the amount of d+α component to be 65%. Within a mixture of proteins, minor polymorphic components are difficult to identify using a conventional proteomic approach. Their identification generally requires multi-dimensional separation steps, before or after proteolytic cleavage, followed by sequence analysis of the proteolytic products. In this study, we investigated the potential of tandem mass spectrometry for protein characterization by identifying the delta-beta hybrid human hemoglobin variant Lepore-Boston-Washington using electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry. Hemoglobin Lepore-Boston-Washington occurs mainly in heterozygotes, where it comprises approximately 10% of the total non-alpha-chains, the dominant non-alpha-chain being the normal beta (approximately 90%). Furthermore, Hemoglobin Lepore-Boston-Washington has an average molecular mass (15,865.23 Da) that is only 2 Da lower than that of the normal beta-chain (15,867.24 Da). Consequently, it cannot be resolved from the normal beta-chain by mass spectrometry. Here we show how Hemoglobin Lepore-Boston-Washington was identified directly from the diluted blood of a heterozygote by analyzing the product ions from the Lepore-Boston-Washington and normal beta-chain ions without prior separation of the individual chains. This study shows the potential of the tandem mass spectrometry for identifying a minor component in an unseparated mixture of proteins. 相似文献
Directed flow measurements for Lambda hyperons are presented and compared to those for protons produced in the same Au+Au collisions (2A, 4A, and 6A GeV; b<5-6 fm). The measurements indicate that Lambda hyperons flow consistently in the same direction but with smaller magnitudes. A strong positive flow [for Lambdas] has been predicted in calculations which include the influence of the Lambda-nucleon potential. The experimental flow ratio Lambda/p is in qualitative agreement with expectations (approximately 2/3) from the quark counting rule at 2A GeV but is found to decrease with increasing beam energy. 相似文献
The possibilities of graphic STM image simulation of a clean Si(1 1 1) 7 × 7 surface at atomic level are indicated. The presented procedure takes into account various types of deformation on the surface near the Fermi level in order to classify them and explain their origin. It also gives a clear hint to insert relevant physical phenomena in a suggested analysis. This goal is achieved exploiting the results of DAS (dimmer adatom stacing fault) model by means of standard mathematical programmes. A clean Si(1 1 1) 7 × 7 surface is considered as the representative example, but similar evaluation is possible for another non-metal and metal surfaces. 相似文献
A simple, sensitive, selective, precise and stability indicating high-performance thin-layer chromatographic method was developed for the determination of tamsulosin (TAM) in bulk and tablet formulation. Validation was carried out in compliance with International Conference on Harmonization guidelines. The method employed thin-layer chromatography aluminium plates pre-coated with silica gel 60F254 as the stationary phase and the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile/methanol/dichloromethane (2.0: 1.0: 2.0, v/v/v). This solvent system was found to give compact spots for tamsulosin (Rf = 0.27 ± 0.02). Densitometric analysis of TAM was carried out in the absorbance mode at 286 nm. Linear regression analysis showed good linearity (r2 = 0.9993) with respect to peak area in the concentration range of 300–800 ng per band. The method was validated for precision, accuracy, ruggedness and recovery. Limits of detection and quantitation were 8.49 and 25.72 ng per band, respectively. TAM was subjected to acid and alkali hydrolysis, oxidation, photo degradation, dry heat and wet heat treatment. The drug underwent degradation under acidic, basic and photolytic conditions. The degraded products were well separated from the pure drug. Statistical analysis proved that the developed method, used for quantification of TAM as a bulk drug and present in pharmaceutical tablets, was reproducible and selective.
Phase diagrams of 1,2,4,5-tetrachlorobenzene–β-naphthol and 1,2,4,5-tetramethylbenzene–succinonitrile systems which are organic analogues of a nonmetal–nonmetal and a nonmetal–metal system, respectively, show the formation of a simple eutectic (melting point 103.7°C) with 0.71 mole fraction of β-naphthol in the former case and a monotectic (melting point 76.0°C) with 0.07 mole fraction of succinonitrile and a eutectic (melting point 52.5°C) with 0.97 mole fraction of succinonitrile in the latter case. The growth behaviour of the pure components, the eutectics and the monotectic studied by measuring the rate of movement of the solid–liquid interface in a capillary, suggests that the data obey the Hillig–Turnbull equation, v=u(ΔT)n, where v is the growth velocity, ΔT is the undercooling and u and n are constants depending on the nature of the materials involved. From the values of enthalpy of fusion determined by the DSC method using Mettler DSC-4000 system, entropy of fusion, interfacial energy, enthalpy of mixing and excess thermodynamic functions were calculated. The electronic charge distribution in tetragonal closed packed (tcp) metal is approximated by a collection of spherical charge
clouds situated midway between the ions. The anisotropy of the charge distribution is parameterized in terms of a charge shift
δ derivable from the lattice parameters and the elastic coefficients of the metal. The electric field gradient (EFG) in the
metal can be obtained through lattice summations over the charges. Numerical calculations are made to obtain the EFG in pure

Overtone spectrum of o, m and p-nitrobenzaldehydes and p-chlorobenzaldehyde has been studied in 2000–12000 cm−1 region. Vibrational frequencies and anharmonicity constants for aryl as well as alkyl CH stretch vibrations have been determined.
We have also determined the internuclear distances for the aryl CH bond in the different molecules. The small variation observed
in these distances is an indication of the substitution effect.
It is observed that in the case of p-disubstituted benzens, the shift in aryl CH bond is proportional to sum of the Hammet σ of the substituents. However in the
case of o-disubstituted benzenes it is only 80% of the para-substituted shift. 相似文献
