An extensive exploration of the conformational space has been carried out to characterize all possible gas phase structures of leucine. A total of 324 unique trial structures for canonical leucine were generated by considering all possible combinations of single bond rotamers. All trial structures were optimized at the B3LYP/6-311G* level of the DFT method. A total of 77 unique and stationary canonical conformers were found. Further, 15 most stable conformers were reoptimized at B3LYP/6-311++G** level and their respective relative energies, vertical ionization energies, hydrogen bonding patterns, rotational constants and dipole moments were calculated. A single point energy calculations for leucine conformers have also been done at both B3LYP/6-311++G(2df, p) and MP2/6-311++G(2df, p) levels. The good agreement between our estimates of rotational constants for two most stable conformers and available experimental measurements supports the reliability of the B3LYP/6-311++G** level of theory for describing the conformational behavior of leucine molecule. The proton affinity and gas phase basicity were also determined. Using the statistical approach, conformational distributions at various temperatures have also been performed and analyzed. Vibrational spectra were also calculated. It is also observed that zwitterions of leucine are not stable in gas phase.  相似文献

1-(3-Oxocyclobutyl) carboxylic acid (4a) was converted into N-Boc-protected 1-(3-oxocyclobutyl) urea (5a), a key intermediate for the preparation of agonists of metabotropic glutamate receptor 5, in one-step when treated with diphenyl phosphoryl azide and triethylamine in tert-butanol. The mechanism of the reaction involves a nucleophilic addition of the in situ generated tert-butyl carbamate to the isocyanate intermediate. This reaction is applicable to other 1-(3-oxocycloalkyl) carboxylic acids but not to linear γ-keto carboxylic acids.  相似文献

A solvent-free, clean, and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of 2,5-disubstituted-1,3,4-thiadiazoles via azines. This approach exploits the synthetic potential of clean reactions and offers many advantages such as excellent product yields, easy isolation of products, and ecofriendly benign reaction conditions. We report the first success in the gold‐catalyzed oxoarylations of nitriles with pyridine‐derived N‐oxides using gold carbenes as initiators. These oxoarylations were also achieved satisfactorily in intermolecular three‐component oxidations, including diverse alkenyldiazo esters, nitriles, and pyridine‐based oxides.  相似文献

Berberis species are well known and used extensively as medicinal plants in traditional medicine. They have many medicinal values attributable to the presence of alkaloids having different pharmacological activities. In this study, a method was developed and validated as per international conference on harmonization guidelines using ultra high performance liquid chromatography with hybrid triple quadrupole‐linear ion trap mass spectrometry operated in the multiple reaction monitoring mode for nine bioactive compounds, including protoberberine alkaloids, aporphine alkaloids and chlorogenic acid. This method was applied in different plant parts of eight Berberis species to determine variations in content of nine bioactive compounds. The separation was achieved on an ACQUITY UPLC CSH? C18 column using a gradient mobile phase at flow rate 0.3 mL/min. Calibration curves for all the nine analytes provided optimum linear detector response (with R2 ≥0.9989) over the concentration range of 0.5–1000 ng/mL. The precision and accuracy were within RSDs ≤2.4 and ≤2.3%, respectively. The results indicated significant variation in the total contents of the nine compounds in Berberis species.  相似文献

Potential energy curves and properties of the low-lying electronic states of tellurium oxide have been computed using a configuration interaction treatment that includes the spin-orbit coupling interaction. Relativistic effective core potentials (RECPs) are used to describe the inner shells of both the Te and O atoms. Good agreement is obtained for the spectroscopic constants of the X1-X2(3)sigma-, a1delta, and b1sigma+ states for which experimental data are available. The ratio of the parallel and perpendicular b-X transition moments, as well as the radiative lifetime of the b state, was computed, and both results were also found to be in good agreement with measurement. The energetic order of the electronic states in TeO appears to be very similar to that observed for the isovalent O2 molecule, but the Rydberg valence-mixing effects that are so prominent in the latter's spectrum (e.g., for the Schumann-Runge bands) are totally absent in TeO.  相似文献

A deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) biosensor has been fabricated via immobilization of 17 base terminal single stranded DNA (ssDNA) identified from the 16s rRNA coding region of Escherichia coli onto sol–gel derived nanostructured zirconium oxide (NanoZrO2) film. An oligonucleotide probe with a terminal 5′-phosphate group has been attached to the surface of the electrode via affinity of NanoZrO2 for phosphate. The results of hybridization studies carried out with the complementary, non-complementary and genomic DNA reveal that ssDNA/NanoZrO2/ITO bioelectrode has a high selectivity and sensitivity towards hybridization detection with limits of 10?6–106 pM of complementary DNA.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A series of fluorine tail-terminated alkoxy and alkyl cyanobiphenyl compounds and some cyano-p-terphenyl derivatives were synthesised and mesogenic properties described. Comparison with the non-fluorinated K series and M series indicates that the terminal fluorine atom generally decreases the transition temperatures and, more interestingly, depresses the formation of a smectic phase. Several binary LC mixtures formed by the fluorine tail-terminated compounds were found exhibiting promising room temperature nematic phases with wide ranges. The mixture F7OCB and F8OCB shows homeotropic ordering at the metal salts-decorated surfaces and planar ordering at the free surface, which may have potential application in designing a more sensitive and faster LC system to targeted analytes.  相似文献

The energy transfer in Er3+: Sm3+ codoped binary TeO2-Li2O (TLO) glass has been studied using 532 nm laser radiation on the basis of fluorescence intensity and the lifetime measurements. It is observed that the trace of erbium ion can be utilized to sensitize the samarium. The mechanism involved in the present case is found to be dipole-dipole. The energy transfer efficiencies, probabilities of energy transfer and the average donor acceptor distance has been evaluated.  相似文献
