Capillary chromatography of polyfluorinated carboxylic esters

Retention indices and dI/dT values were obtained for members of six homologous and six pseudohomologous series of polyfluorinated saturated carboxylic esters on capillary columns with OV-101 or XE-60 as stationary phase. There was a nonlinear dependence of retention indices of fluorinated fatty acid esters on carbon chain length of homologs with m, n=1–6. Interaction of polyfluoroalkyl-containing aziridinyl ketones with hydrogen halides

Polyfluoroalkyl-containing aziridinyl ketones, unlike their nonfluorinated analogs, react with hydrogen halides to give only -halo- -anvnoketones or their hydrogen halide salts. Synthesis of Tetrafluoromethane by Graphite Fluorination with Elemental Fluorine

Formation of high-temperature inverse wave of the filtration combustion of graphite fixed bed in fluorine was studied. Scientific principles of the industrial process of the tetrafluoromethane synthesis from graphite and fluorine were developed.     

Stereoisomerism ofβ-polyfluoroalkyl-α,β-enones

-Polyfluoroalkyl-,-enones formed in the E,Z form are converted by the action of atmospheric oxygen into a 937 mixture of E,Z and Z,E isomers in the dark and 6040 mixture of these isomers in the light. The Z isomer of 1-phenyl-4,4, 4-trifluoro-2-buten-1-one was isolated preparatively for the first time and its E conformation relative to the C-C bond was established. Condensation of 4-amino-3-hydrazino-1,2,4-triazoline-5-thione with α- and β-dicarbonyl compounds

Reaction of 2-halofluoroalkyl-containing β-ketoesters with N-dinucleophiles

Study of the reaction of fluoroalkyl β-ketoesters with methylhydrazine by1H and19F NMR spectroscopy

Conclusions By¹H and¹⁹F NMR spectroscopy it was shown that reaction of fluoroalkyl -ketoesters with methylhydrazine in deuteromethanol at –30 to 30C involves intermediate formation of the -ketoester salts with methylhydrazine and 3,5-dioxypyrazolidines which successively split off methanol and H₂O with formation of 3-oxypyrazolines and pyrazol-5-ones, respectively.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 2, pp. 399–402, February, 1988.     

Bromination of regioisomeric fluorine-containing β-aminovinyl ketones

Bromination of -aminovinyl ketones (AVK) with geminal arrangement of the fluoroalkyl and amino groups gives N-bromo derivatives.
