The genus Blechnum has 13 species that are common plants, well-distributed in Chile. Here, we report a phytochemical analysis of B. chilense (Kaulf.) Mett., as well as the insecticidal effects of extracts of this plant. From the n-hexane fraction four phytoecdysones were isolated: ecdysone, ponasterone, shidasterone and 2-deoxycrustecdysone. A bioassay with Drosophila melanogaster larvae was used to evaluate insecticidal activity. The EtOAc and n-hexane fractions at 800 ppm caused 66.7 and 50.0% larval mortality, respectively. Treatments with both extracts at 800 ppm caused the greatest larval mortality, whereas treatments with 500 and 200 ppm induced premature pupation compared with the control and the highest adult mortality, probably due to interference with ecdysteroid metabolism and inhibition of ecdysis triggering hormone (ETH). The dead adult flies exhibited malformations.  相似文献

Abstract

In this work was evaluated the activity of samarium acetate (III) (Sm(OAc)3) as a possible initiator in the polymerization by ring opening of trimethylene carbonate (TMC). All polymerizations were carried out under solvent-free melt conditions in ampoules-like flasks, equipped with a magnetic stirrer. The effects of different parameters of reaction, such as molar ratio monomer to initiator, temperature and reaction time, on typical variables of polymers, e.g., conversion of TMC to poly(trimethylene carbonate) (PTMC), dispersity and molar mass, were analyzed. The molar ratio of monomer to initiator was varied between 0 and 1000?mol/mol and the temperature among 70 and 150?°C. Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (1H-NMR and HMBC) and Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) were used to characterize the polymers. The results indicate that the Sm(OAc)3 induces the polymerization of TMC to high conversion with number-average molecular weights of 3.11?×?103 to 38.40?×?103?Da. Based on the 1H-NMR end-group analysis of low-molecular-weight PTMC, it was proposed a coordination–insertion mechanism for the polymerization, with a breakdown of the acyl-oxygen bond of the TMC. In according to the kinetic study carried out, the polymerization rate is first-order with respect to monomer concentration with apparent rate constants of kap?=?7.02?×?10?4?mol?×?L?1?×?h?1.  相似文献

The effect of zirconia and zirconia-polyester glycol hybrid coatings on the corrosion resistance of mechanically polished or anodized AISI 316 stainless steel (316L), was studied by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in 0.1 M NaCl and scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscopy examinations. The deposition of zirconia coatings was achieved by the sol–gel technique by immersing the samples in either the inorganic polymer or the organic–inorganic polymer mixture. From potentiodynamic and impedance measurements, the grade of protection is reduced with the exposure time to the electrolyte, which is mainly associated with lost of film adhesion and, consequently, detachment from the metal substrate. However, the uncoated anodized sample revealed an unexpected corrosion behavior; the anodic film formed during anodizing readily increased the corrosion resistance of the 316L stainless steel in 0.1 M NaCl, revealing a considerable reduction in the corrosion current density and an increase in the pitting potential.  相似文献

The kinetics of the gas‐phase elimination of the title compounds has been determined in a static reaction system over the temperature range of 340–420°C and pressure range of 45–96 Torr. The reactions proved to be homogeneous, unimolecular, and obey a first‐order rate law. The estimated rate coefficients are represented by the following Arrhenius expressions: Ethyl 1‐piperidine carboxylate Ethyl pipecolinate Ethyl 1‐methyl pipecolinate The first step of decomposition of these esters is the formation of the corresponding carboxylic acids and ethylene. The acid intermediate undergoes a very fast decarboxylation process. Hydrazones exhibit a versatile chemistry and are of interest for their potential use as functional molecular systems capable of undergoing reversible changes of configuration, i.e. E/Z isomerization. The title compound, C12H12N4O, has an E configuration with respect to the hydrazone C=N bond. The crystal packing is formed by N—H...N and O—H...N hydrogen bonds that give a two‐dimensional layer structure and C—H...C interactions associated with layer stacking to produce the three‐dimensional supramolecular structure. These intermolecular interactions were analyzed and quantified by the Hirshfeld surface method and the two‐dimensional supramolecular arrangement was topologically simplified as a hcb network.  相似文献
