This paper deals with a non-linear inverse problem of identification of unknown boundaries, on which the prescribed conditions are of Signorini type. We first prove an identifiability result, in both frameworks of thermal and elastic testing. Local Lipschitz stability of the solutions with respect to the boundary measurements is also established, in case of unknown boundaries which are parts of 𝒞1, β Jordan curves, with β>0. © 1998 B. G. This paper deals with the detection of emergent plane cracks, by using boundary measurements. An identifiability result (uniqueness of the solution) is first proved. Then, we look at the stability of this solution with respect to the measurement. Air‐stable P‐chiral dihydrobenzooxaphosphole oxazoline ligands were designed and synthesized. When they were used in the iridium‐catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of unfunctionalized 1‐aryl‐3,4‐dihydronaphthalenes under one atmosphere pressure of H2, up to 99:1 e.r. was obtained. High enantioselectivities were also observed in the reduction of the exocyclic imine derivatives of 1‐tetralones.  相似文献

In the context of the multi-dimensional infinite horizon optimal consumption investment problem with small proportional transaction costs, we prove an asymptotic expansion. Similar to the one-dimensional derivation in our accompanying paper, the first order term is expressed in terms of a singular ergodic control problem. Our arguments are based on the theory of viscosity solutions and the techniques of homogenization which leads to a system of corrector equations. In contrast with the one-dimensional case, no explicit solution of the first corrector equation is available and we also prove the existence of a corrector and its properties. Finally, we provide some numerical results which illustrate the structure of the first order optimal controls.  相似文献

Uniaxial elongational flow followed by stress relaxation of a dilute mixture of polystyrene/polymethylmethacrylate) PS/PMMA with PS (5 wt%) as a dispersed phase was investigated. The behavior of the blend was found to be dominated by the PMMA matrix during elongation and by the interface during the relaxation at long time. Such a behavior was related to drop deformation and shape recovery during the relaxation process as was confirmed by morphological analyses on samples quenched within the rheometer just after elongation and at various times during the relaxation process. The morphology and the rheological material functions variation were compared to the Yu model (Yu W, Bousmina M, Grmela M, Palierne JF, Zhou C (2002) Quantitative relationship between rheology and morphology in emulsions. We present a pointfree analogue of E-compactness as introduced by Engelking and Mrówka. In particular, we show that a frame L is a closed quotient of a copower of a regular frame E iff L is complete in its E-nearness. We further show that the version of E-compactness that is more compatible with the classical one corresponds to Cauchy completeness in its E-nearness.  相似文献

The result of the X‐ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and dielectric studies on a new crystal material C6H18N2SbCl5 is presented. The new organic–inorganic compound has been synthesized and characterized by the X‐ray diffraction method at 296(2) K. It crystallizes in the monoclinic P21/n space group. The cell dimensions are: a = 5.8617(1) Å, b = 15.7069(2) Å, c = 16.6693(2) Å, β = 97.627(1)° and Z = 4. The crystal structure consists of a discrete ionic layer of (C6H18N2)2+ cations and [SbCl5]2? anions linked via simple and bifurcated N―H · · · Cl hydrogen bonds. DSC analysis shows that this compound undergoes a phase transition at about (384 ± 2) K. AC and DC conductivities, complex dielectric permittivity ε*(ω) and complex electrical modulus M*(ω) were respectively studied as temperature and frequency functions. The combined data support each other and confirm the existence of a structural phase transition at about 384 K. Moreover, the temperature dependence of the DC conductivity and relaxation frequency followed the Arrhenius relation. The frequency dependence of the real part of the AC conductivity in both phases follows the Jonscher's universal dynamic law: . The behavior of s(T) with temperature suggests that the hopping over barrier model (CBH) and the small polaron tunneling mechanism (SPTM) prevail in phases I and II, respectively.
