Copper-catalyzed aerobic oxidative dehydrogenation for conversion of 2-(alkylthio)-1,4-dihydropyrimidines to 2-(alkylthio)pyrimidines

A simple and efficient aerobic oxidative dehydrogenation reaction method for the conversion of 2-(alkylthio)-1,4-dihydropyrimidines to 2-(alkylthio)pyrimidines using copper catalyst with no additives, such as an oxidant, acid, or base, has been developed. The reaction was successful with a wide range of 2-(alkylthio)-1,4-dihydropyrimidine substrates.     

In vivo pharmacokinetics of and tissue distribution study of physalin B after intravenous administration in rats by liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry

A rapid and sensitive liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry quantitative analysis method was established for the pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution study of physalin B in rat. Physalin B and physalin H (internal standard, IS) were separated on an Agilent Eclips XDB C₈ column. MS detection was performed on a triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer in the multiple reaction monitoring mode with a positive eletrospray ionization source. The assay was validated in the concentration ranges of 22.6–22600 ng/mL for heart and lung and 4.52–4520 ng/mL for other tissues. The intra‐ and inter‐day precisions (RSD) were ≤9.23 and ≤12.51%, respectively, with accuracy (%) in the range of 88.07–113.2%. A pharmacokinetic study showed that physalin B has a long dwell time with a half‐life of 321.2 ± 29.5 min and clearance of 175.4 ± 25.7 mL/min/kg after intravenous administration. Additionally, physalin B showed a wide tissue distribution with a special higher penetration in lung. UV beam-assisted efficient formation of surface relief grating on azobenzene polymers

An efficient method is demonstrated to improve the formation of a surface relief grating (SRG) with a high amplitude. The SRG is realized by a two-beam interference technique (λ=532 nm) in an azobenzene side-chain copolymer. An UV laser beam (λ=355 nm), called assisting beam, was used to accelerate the photoisomerization process from cis-form to trans-form, resulting in a rapid cis-form ? trans-form cycle. This UV beam-assisted method allowed to increase the diffraction efficiency of the formed SRG as well as its depth. Stable gratings with modulation depth as high as 410 nm were obtained at room temperature with moderate laser power.

在试验设计中,一阶回归模型通常被作为合格拟合模型用来从众多因子中筛选出效应显著的特殊因子,而Q和Q_B准则能够比较简单地从大量的合格拟合模型中找出具有最优性质的设计.主要探讨了当拟合模型为一阶回归模型时,二水平的初始设计d与其Double设计(d d d -d)在Q和Q_B准则下的最优关系.给出了初始设计d的Q和Q_B值与其Double设计的Q和Q_B值之间的解析关系,从而得到在Q或Q_B准则下如果初始设计d是最优的,那么其Double设计也是最优的.此外,也分别给出了初始设计d及其Double设计的Q值和Q_B值的一个下界.
