Formal synthesis of 14-membered unsymmetrical bis-macrolactone, (?)-colletodiol was accomplished from homopropargylic alcohol derivative. Building of the two different hydroxy acid fragments from the same intermediate of homoallylic alcohol was particularly advantageous. This research work explores the effect of hybrid nanoparticles on the flow over a rotating disk by using an activation energy model. Here, we considered molybdenum disulfide and ferro sulfate as nanoparticles suspended in base fluid water. The magnetic field is pragmatic normal to the hybrid nanofluid flow direction. The derived nonlinear ordinary differential equations are nondimensionalized and worked out numerically with the help of Maple software by the RKF-45method. The scientific results for a non-dimensionalized equation are presented for both nanoparticle and hybrid nanoparticle case. Accoutrements of various predominant restrictions on flow and thermal fields are scanned. Computation estimation for friction factor, local Nusselt number and Sherwood number are also executed. Results reveal that the reduction of the heat transfer rate is greater in hybrid nanoparticles when compared to nanoparticles for increasing values of Eckert Number and the thermal field enhances for the enhanced values of volume fraction. 相似文献

This article describes the synthesis of 10H-phenothiazines from 2-aminobenzenethiol and o-halonitrobenzenes via Smiles rearrangement. Upon refluxing with hydrogen peroxide in glacial acetic acid, these phenothiazines yield the corresponding 10H-phenothiazine-5,5-dioxides. The phenothiazines have also been used as base to prepare ribofuranosides by the reaction with β-D-ribofuranose-1-acetate-2,3,5-tribenzoate. All the synthesized compounds have been characterized by spectral and elemental analysis and have been examined for antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. Microwave irradiation (MWI) was used as pretreatment of wheat bran and eucalyptus kraft pulp to examine its effect on xylanase production by Bacillus halodurans FNP 135 using solid state fermentation and biobleaching with xylanase, respectively. Irradiation of wheat bran under optimized conditions (600?W, 6?min, and 20?% consistency) resulted in 56.8, and 31.7?% increase in xylanase yield and water absorbance of wheat bran and 17.3?% reduction in reducing sugars content. Optimized MWI of kraft pulp at 850?W, 2?min, and 20?% consistency led to 0.9?% increase in brightness, 10?% decrease in kappa number, 7.7?% increase in water absorbance, 4.6?% decrease in tear factor, 0.9?% increase in burst factor, and 7.5?% increase in viscosity. Also, MWI enhanced xylanase-mediated biobleaching by increasing brightness (1.1?%) and decreasing kappa number (14.3?%) and leading to a total of about 20?% reduction in chlorine consumption. MWI is an economical, efficient, and environment-friendly pretreatment of wheat bran and pulp for enhanced enzyme yield and rapid heating, respectively. 相似文献

In this work, we have used a polyaniline and cupric oxide-based nanocomposite material (PANI-CuO) for the adsorption of Pb2+, Cd2+, and Cr6+ ions from contaminated water. FTIR, FESEM, EDX and XRD methods were used in the characterisation of PANI-CuO. The maximum percentage removal of Pb2+, Cd2+, and Cr6+ ions was found to be 79.9%, 78.9% and 82.1% at 1 g of PANI-CuO for 100 mL of contaminated water. The suitability order of the isotherm model was observed as Langmuir > Freundlich > Elovich, whereas the pseudo first order model was best fitted as compared to the pseudo second order model. The rate constants were evaluated as 1.441, 1.801 and 1.661 g mg?1 min ?1, respectively. The values of ΔG0 were calculated to be ?287.4, ?849.6, and ?728.9 kJ mol?1 for Pb2+, Cd2+ and Cr6+ ions, respectively. 相似文献

The Chaperone‐like Activity and Structure of Mutant H119G of Rat Lens αB‐crystallin: A Study of Divalent Metal Ion Binding Site 下载免费PDF全文
The molecular chaperone αB‐crystallin, the major player in maintaining the transparency of the eye lens, preventing the aggregation of stress‐damaged and aging lens proteins from aggregation. In nonlenticular cells, it is involved in various neurological diseases, diabetes, and cancer. The role of some metal ions in the αB‐crystallin biology has been reported. Theoretical calculations have proposed that the coordination sites involving His101, His119, Lys121, His18 and Glu99 of human αB‐crystallin were the binding sites for divalent metal ions. Our previous mutagenesis study suggested that His18 rat lens αB‐crystallin is a crucial binding site for Cu(II) and Zn(II) in terms of chaperone‐like activity and structure. In this study mutant H119G of rat lens αB‐crystalin was cloned and expressed to investigate whether His119 is the coordination binding site. Copper and zinc at 1 mM concentration significantly increase the chaperone‐like activity in wild type αB‐crystalin, whereas zinc, copper and magnesium at 1 mM reduced the activity of H119G significantly. The results from chaperone‐like activity, ANS fluorescence measurement and Far‐and Near‐UV CD studies suggest that the replacement of His119 with Glycine resulted in a conformational and minor environmental changes that decrease chaperone‐like activity in the presence of divalent ions suggested that His119 was a crucial binding site for Cu(II) and Zn(II), which was similar to our previous study results of His18. Both results together suggest that His18 and His119 coordinates each other for the binding site of Cu(II) and Zn(II) in terms of improving the chaperone‐like activity and stability of crystallin/metal ion complex. 相似文献
