Two different cases regarding the zinc coating at the lap joint faying surface are selected for studying the influence of zinc vapor on the keyhole dynamics of the weld pool and the final welding quality. One case has the zinc coating fully removed at the faying surface; while the other case retains the zinc coating on the faying surface. It is found that removal of the zinc coating at the faying surface produces a significantly better weld quality as exemplified by a lack of spatters whereas intense spatters are present when the zinc coating is present at the faying surface. Spectroscopy is used to detect the optical spectra emitted from a laser generated plasma plume during the laser welding of galvanized high strength DP980 steel in a lap-joint configuration. A correlation between the electron temperature and defects within the weld bead is identified by using the Boltzmann plot method. The laser weld pool keyhole dynamic behavior affected by a high-pressure zinc vapor generated at the faying surface of galvanized steel lap-joint is monitored in real-time by a high speed charge-coupled device (CCD) camera assisted with a green laser as an illumination source.  相似文献

We introduce a dyadic model for the Euler equations and the Navier-Stokes equations with hyper-dissipation in three dimensions. For the dyadic Euler equations we prove finite time blow-up. In the context of the dyadic Navier-Stokes equations with hyper-dissipation we prove finite time blow-up in the case when the dissipation degree is sufficiently small.

The chemical and structural homogeneity of the electro-slag remelting (ESR) alloyed structural Cr-Ni-Mo steel (18H2N4MA) is investigated with electron probe microanalysis. The level of nonhomogeneity is expressed in terms of microsegregation coefficients (Cmax/Cmin of an investigated element) [1]. Microsegregation coefficients are higher for molybdenum than for chromium and vary from 1.5 to 2.05 for Mo and from 1.13 to 1.3 for Cr. Both at low (< 350 kg/h) and high (> 400 kg/h) melting rates, the increase of microsegregation is more pronounced for both elements investigated.  相似文献

We proved the convergence of a sequence of two-dimensional compact Kähler-Einstein orbifolds with rational quotient singularities and with some uniform bounds on the volumes and on the Euler characteristics of our orbifolds, to a Kähler-Einstein two-dimensional orbifold. Our limit orbifold can have worse singularities than the orbifolds in our sequence. We will also derive some estimates on the norms of the sections of plurianticanonical bundles of our orbifolds in the sequence that we are considering and our limit orbifold.  相似文献

This paper studies the stationary probability density function (PDF) solution of a nonlinear business cycle model subjected to random shocks of Gaussian white-noise type. The PDF solution is controlled by a Fokker–Planck–Kolmogorov (FPK) equation, and we use exponential polynomial closure (EPC) method to derive an approximate solution for the FPK equation. Numerical results obtained from EPC method, better than those from Gaussian closure method, show good agreement with the probability distribution obtained with Monte Carlo simulation including the tail regions.  相似文献

This paper describes a tri-colour light emitting diode (LED)-photoresistor (PR)-based in situ spectrometer with geometry that differs from the previously presented and allows for small volumes of test solution (350 μl) and effective homogenisation of reagents. The emission maximums of the tri-colour LED (TC-LED) are at 470, 565 and 660 nm. The basic measuring characteristics of the prototype were evaluated. The prototype was tested for determination of calcium in natural waters with the o-cresolphtalein complexon and was proved to be useful for real life applications. The in situ spectrometer with microreaction chamber enables the rapid optimisation of experimental conditions, as was demonstrated on the example of oxidation of alcohols with potassium dichromate. The drop-based experimental approach to the ruggedness test is fast, economic and gives reliable results with the minimum waste production. The prototype, connected to the computer, functions as a kinetic microreactor suitable also for following rapid changes. In spite of the manual addition of the initialising reagent, the data are lost only during the first 3 s.  相似文献

Walnut byproducts have been shown to exert functional properties, but the literature on their bioactive content is still scarce. Among walnut byproducts, walnut septum is a dry ligneous diaphragm tissue that divides the two halves of the kernel, exhibiting nutritional and medicinal properties. These functional properties are owing to its flavonoid content, and in order to explore the flavonoid fraction, an ultrasound-assisted (UAE) protocol was combined with solid phase extraction (SPE) and coupled to high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) for the determination of flavonoids in Greek walnut septa membranes belonging to Chandler, Vina, and Franquette varieties. The proposed UAE-SPE-HPLC-DAD method was validated and the relative standard deviations (RSD%) of the within-day and between-day assays were lower than 6.2 and 8.5, respectively, showing good precision, and high accuracy ranging from 90.8 (apigenin) to 97.5% (catechin) for within-day assay, and from 88.5 (myricetin) to 96.2% (catechin) for between-day assay. Overall, seven flavonoids were determined (catechin, rutin, myricetin, luteolin, quercetin, apigenin, and kaempferol) suggesting that the walnut septum is a rich source of bioactive constituents. The quantification results were further processed using ANOVA analysis to examine if there are statistically significant differences between the concentration of each flavonoid and the variety of the walnut septum.  相似文献
