The synergy of an anodic-biased alpha-Fe2O3 film and a cationic surfactant molecular assembly leads to a high visible light induced activity for 2-naphthol oxidation and high stability. An abrupt increase in the photocatalytic activity at a surfactant concentration of ca. 0.2 mmol dm(-3) results from the adsolubilization of 2-naphthol into the hydrophobic nanospace of the surfactant bilayer formed on the alpha-Fe2O3 surface. Also, the surfactant bilayer provides sustainable photocurrent during the reaction. 相似文献
Isotope ratios of carbon dioxide and water vapour in the near-surface air were continuously measured for one month in an urban area of the city of Nagoya in central Japan in September 2010 using laser spectroscopic techniques. During the passages of a typhoon and a stationary front in the observation period, remarkable changes in the isotope ratios of CO2 and water vapour were observed. The isotope ratios of both CO2 and water vapour decreased during the typhoon passage. The decreases can be attributed to the air coming from an industrial area and the rainout effects of the typhoon, respectively. During the passage of the stationary front, δ13C–CO2 and δ18O–CO2 increased, while δ2H–H2Ov and δ18O–H2Ov decreased. These changes can be attributed to the air coming from rural areas and the air surrounding the observational site changing from a subtropical air mass to a subpolar air mass during the passage of the stationary front. A clear relationship was observed between the isotopic CO2 and water vapour and the meteorological phenomena. Therefore, isotopic information of CO2 and H2Ov could be used as a tracer of meteorological information. 相似文献
We discuss the scenario with TeV-scale right-handed neutrinos, which are accessible at future colliders, while holding down tiny seesaw-induced masses and sizable couplings to the standard-model particles. The signal with tri-lepton final states and large missing transverse energy is appropriate for studying collider signatures of the scenario with extra spatial dimensions. We show that the LHC experiment generally has a potential to discover the signs of extra dimensions and the origin of small neutrino masses. 相似文献

This generalizes the result of Edmonds [2], i.e., the necessary and sufficient condition that for a directed
graph D=(V,A) with a specified vertex s∈V, there are k arc-disjoint in-trees rooted at s each of which spans V. Furthermore, we extend another characterization of packing in-trees of Edmonds [1] to the one in our case.

Five bicyclic dioxetanes bearing a 2-hydroxynaphthyl group, 1aA-1eA, were synthesized and their chemiluminescent decomposition was examined by the use of tetrabutylammonium fluoride (TBAF) as a base in DMSO. It was found that these dioxetanes hold completely the ‘odd/even’ relationship between the substitution pattern of hydroxy as a trigger on the naphthalene ring and their chemiluminescent efficiency, and that dioxetane 1aA exhibited chemiluminescence with the highest efficiency among those for the oxynaphthyl-substituted dioxetanes hitherto known. The significant change in chemiluminescent efficiency depending on the substitution pattern was clarified to be attributed to the marked change in singlet-chemiexcitation efficiency for charge-transfer-induced chemiluminescence (CTICL) of 1aA-1eA. In respect of the rate of CTICL-decomposition, ‘odd/even’ relationship was observed for 1aA-1dA. 相似文献
Bicyclic dioxetanes 2a, 2b, and 3, bearing a 3-hydroxy-5-naphthylphenyl moiety underwent charge-transfer-induced decomposition with accompanying emission of light, the color of which changed from red to blue responding to a complex of crown ether with potassium t-butoxide used as a base. Furthermore, they afforded unusual chemiluminescence, the spectra of which displayed two peaks in some cases. It was observed for chemiluminescences in the coordination sphere with crown ether that their spectra did not coincide with the spectra of authentic emitters. 相似文献
We succeeded in growing high-crystalline-quality thick (1 0 1¯ 1¯) Ga0.92In0.08N films on a grooved (1 0 1¯ 1¯) GaN/(1 0 1¯ 2¯) 4H-SiC underlying layer. We also fabricated GaInN/GaN multiple quantum wells (MQWs) with a peak wavelength of 580 nm on a high-crystalline-quality thick GaInN film. The photoluminescence intensity of the MQWs is about six times higher than that of MQWs grown on planar GaN and twice as high as that of MQWs grown on a GaN underlying layer having the same grooved structure. 相似文献
Stimulated by the discovery of the iron oxypnictide superconductor with ZrCuSiAs-type structure in 2008, extensive exploration of its isostructural and isoelectronic compounds has started. These compounds, including oxides, fluorides, and hydrides, can all be simply recognized as valence compounds for which the octet rule is valid. We report herein the first example of a ZrCuSiAs-type hydride, CaNiGeH, which violates the octet rule. This hydride was synthesized by hydrogenation of the CeFeSi-type compound CaNiGe under pressurized hydrogen. Powder diffraction and theoretical simulation confirm that H enters into the interstitial position of the Ca(4) tetrahedron, leading to notable anisotropic expansion of the unit cell along the c axis. Density functional theory calculations indicate the modification of the chemical bonding and formation of ionic Ca-H bond as a result of hydrogen insertion. Furthermore, CaNiGeH shows Pauli paramagnetism and metallic conduction similar to that of CaNiGe, but its carrier type changes to hole and the carrier density is drastically reduced as compared to CaNiGe. Mn-doping at the Ni site introduces magnetism to both the parent compound and the hydride. The measurement demonstrates that hydrogenation of CaNi(1-x)Mn(x)Ge reduces ferromagnetic ordering of Mn ions and induces huge magnetic hysteresis, whereas the spin glass state observed for the parent compound is preserved in the hydride. The hydrogenation-induced changes in the electric and magnetic properties are interpreted in terms of development of two-dimensionality in crystal structure as well as electronic state. 相似文献
We investigated unintentionally doped nonpolar a- and m-plane GaN layers grown by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy under several sets of conditions on freestanding a- and m-plane GaN substrates. Oxygen contamination in a-plane GaN is greatly reduced by increasing the V/III ratio during growth. As a result, a high-resistivity GaN buffer layer for an AlGaN/GaN heterostructure field-effect transistor was realized. 相似文献
Nylon‐6/poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) ultra‐multi‐island sea–island conjugated melt‐spun fibers are flow‐drawn at a draw ratio of 174 with heating by CO2 laser irradiation. Continuous PET nanofibers that have a diameter of 39 nm could be obtained from the flow‐drawn fiber with further drawing and removal of the sea component. In addition, the drawn fiber has a strength of 0.54 GPa. This result shows that a PET nanofiber having a strength almost equal to that of a conventional PET fiber can be obtained by the combination of conjugate‐melt‐spinning and laser‐heated flow‐drawing.
