New prodrugs derived from 6-aminodopamine and 4-aminophenol as candidates for melanocyte-directed enzyme prodrug therapy (MDEPT)

Two novel tyrosinase mediated drug delivery pathways have been investigated for the selective delivery of cytotoxic units to melanocytes from urea and thiourea prodrugs. The synthesis of these prodrugs is reported, as well as oximetry data that illustrate that the targets are substrates for tyrosinase. The stability of each of the prodrugs in (i) phosphate buffer and (ii) bovine serum is discussed, and the urea prodrugs are identified as lead candidates for further studies. Finally, HPLC studies and preliminary cytotoxicity studies in a melanotic and an amelanotic cell line, that illustrate the feasibility of the approach, are presented.     

Profiling analysis of oligosaccharides in antibody pharmaceuticals by capillary electrophoresis

Carbohydrate chains in glycoprotein pharmaceuticals have important roles for the expression of their biological activities. Therefore, development of an assessment method for the carbohydrate chains is an important parameter for quality control of glycoprotein pharmaceuticals such as newly developed therapeutic antibodies. In this report, we applied capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection to the analysis of carbohydrate chains after releasing with glycoamidase followed by derivatization with 3-aminobenzoic acid. We found that four major oligosaccharides present in antibody pharmaceuticals were successfully separated with good resolution. The present method showed good precision in both migration times and relative peak areas, and gave comparable accuracy with that using a derivatization method with 8-aminopyrene-1,3,6-trisulfonate.     

用Reichardt''''s Dye研究碳酸酯溶剂极性的经验参数ET(30)

使用2,6-二苯基-4-(2,4,6-三苯基-1-吡啶鎓)苯氧内盐染料(Reichardt's Dye)研究锂离子电池中非水电解质溶剂碳酸酯的极性,并测量极性经验参数ET(30)碳酸乙烯酯为48.6,碳酸丙烯酯为46.1,2,3-碳酸丁烯酯为45.7,碳酸二甲酯为39.0,碳酸甲乙酯为37.3,碳酸二乙酯为37.0.LiClO4加入到碳酸酯溶剂中,显色剂受到离子的盐效应影响,表现为溶液体系的ET(30)值增加,极性增大.由于溶液中粒子间的相互作用不同,环碳酸酯与链状碳酸酯极性变化趋势不同.极性大的溶剂易形成Ar-O-…solvent…Li+结构,起到缓冲作用,抑制了显色剂的酚氧基与Li+直接作用.

在得到MP4, SCF的关于总能量及结合能的四个势能面的基础上,着重分析了电子相关作用, 消除基函数超位误差的Counterpoise(CP)技术对van der Waals配合物He-H2O的平衡几何的影响并得到了更精确的平衡几何预测。     

Vibrational Spectroscopic Study on Ion Solvation and Association of Lithium Perchlorate in 4-Methoxymethyl-ethylene Carbonate

Solvation interaction and ion association in solutions of lithium perchlorate/4-methoxymethyl-ethylene carbonate （MEC） have been studied by using Infrared and Raman spectra as a function of concentration of lithium perchlorate. The splitting of ring deformation band and ring ether asymmetric stretching band, and the change of carbonyl stretching band suggest that there should be a strong interaction between Li^＋ and the solvent molecules, and the site of solvation should be the oxygen atom of carbonyl group. The apparent solvation number of Li^＋ was calculated by using band fitting technique. The solvation number was decreased from 3.3 to 1.1 with increasing the concentration of LiClO4/MEC solutions. On the other hand, the band fitting for the ClO4^- band revealed the presence of contact ion pair, and free ClO4^- anion in the concentrated solutions.     

Electrodeposited copolymer electrolyte into nanostructured titania electrodes for 3D Li-ion microbatteries

The electrochemical synthesis of a copolymer electrolyte (PEO-PMMA) into titania nanotubes is described and studied. Compared with the electrochemical systems based on solid electrolytes deposited by top-down techniques, the copolymer/titania nanotube material reveals high electrochemical performance, opening new perspectives for the fabrication of 3D all-solid-state microbatteries.     

Hartley’s oscillator: The simplest chaotic two-component circuit

This paper shows an experimental evidence of chaos in one of the simplest imaginable autonomous implicit Hartley’s oscillator made simply of a junction field effect transistor (JFET) and a tapped coil. The experimental setup is implemented. The variations of amplitude of the oscillations through the control element are obtained showing the domain of existence of chaos. Phase portraits of the PSpice simulation, of the numerical integration and of the experiment are displayed, confirming a good agreement between theory and praxis.     

Progresses and advances in Arctic underwater acoustics study

As a part of underwater acoustics, the study and development of Arctic Acoustics is later than underwater acoustics about several hundred years. After World War II, the study of Arctic Acoustics attracts many interests by some developed countries, especially U.S. and pre-Soviet Union. The research works obviously have some kinds of cold war brand. After the Cold War, with the gradual warming trend of Arctic area, the ocean acoustic environment in Arctic and its adjacent area have been considerably concerned. The 8 countries of Arctic rim organized exclusive "Arctic Council" in 1996. The white paper of "China Arctic Policy"was published in January 26, 2018, the Chinese government declared that China is a close Arctic country, and is the responsible stakeholder of Arctic interests. The new advances in Arctic research works axe introduced in this paper, including the results of scientific survey and studies about Arctic underwater acoustics of Chinese researchers. It is showed that the Arctic underwater acoustical research area is not only parallely copy the topics what traditional underwater acoustics covered, e.g. environment noise,reverberation,and propagation, but also the topics which is specifically based on the Arctic environment. Some of these research fields cannot be included in the traditional shallow water, deep water acoustics, e.g. the ice-water interface feature, ice covered semi-acoustic channel effect, the communication and navigation of UUV in the condition of under ice, and the adaptation of sonar technique, equipment in the ice-covered environment, etc.
