Second Order Nonlinear Evolution Inclusions Ⅰ： Existence and Relaxation Results

This is the first part of a work on second order nonlinear, nonmonotone evolution inclusions defined in the framework of an evolution triple of spaces and with a multivalued nonlinearity depending on both x（t） and x（t）. In this first part we prove existence and relaxation theorems. We consider the case of an usc, convex valued nonlinearity and we show that for this problem the solution set is nonempty and compact in C^1 （T, H）. Also we examine the Isc, nonconvex case and again we prove the existence of solutions. In addition we establish the existence of extremal solutions and by strengthening our hypotheses, we show that the extremal solutions are dense in C^1 （T, H） to the solutions of the original convex problem （strong relaxation）. An example of a nonlinear hyperbolic optimal control problem is also discussed.     

Calculation of the Specific Heats for the Ⅱ—Ⅲ and Ⅱ—Ⅳ Phase transitions in NH4I

This study gives our calculation for the specific heats CVI due to an Ising model using the observed Cp data for the Ⅱ-Ⅲ and Ⅱ-VI phase transitions in NH4I.By fitting to the CP data we determine the values of the critical exponent for the pressure of 0.14GPa(Ⅱ-Ⅲ phase transition)and for the pressures of 0.75,1.35and 1.97 GPa (II-IV phase transition)in NH4I.Our exponent values values are close to the predicted values of the specific heat in a three-dimensional Ising model.Our calculated CVI are in good agreement with the experimental CP for NH4I in most cases.     

玻璃的冲击损伤

冲蚀过程是一个与颗粒反复冲击物体表面而移除物质相关的表面现象．本文研究了玻璃的冲蚀坑的几何尺寸和体积，给出了冲蚀移除物质如何依赖于颗粒流动速度、颗粒尺寸和冲击角的理论关系．通过理论与实验结果相比较，定义了一定冲蚀坑尺度的有效域．     

Numerical Calculation and Analysis of Track Etching Process

Heavy ion irradiated polymers can be chemically etched to form track membrane with pores in the micro and sub-micro ranges. It has been reported that pore growth during etching can be related to track structures. A latent track has a track core inside and a track halo surrounding the track core. By single track etching it is observed that etching in the track core is much faster than in the track halo where the etching rate is even lower tlian that of bulk material. For multi-track etching, no such stages can be seen by the conductance measurements.     

EXISTENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF THE SOLUTION FOR NONLINEAR THIRD-ORDER ROBIN BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM WITH A TURNING POINT

The paper aims to obtain existence and uniqueness of the solution as well as asymptotic estimate of the solution for singularly perturbed nonlinear third- order Robin boundary value problem with a turning point.In order to achieve this aim,existence and uniqueness of the solution for third-order nonlinear Robin boundary value problem is derived first based on the upper and lower solutions method under relatively weaker conditions.In this manner,the goal of this paper is gained by applying the existence and uniqueness results mentioned above.     

CO、H_2及HO_2在Co/SiO_2催化剂上吸附的原位红外光谱

用原位IR研究了CO在Co/SiO_2催化剂上的吸附,并考察了吸附的CO与H_2、H_2O的相互作用。CO在Co/SiO_2上的吸附显示出四种不同的吸收峰。2002、2027cm~(-1)归属于端基CO吸附;2120cm~(-1)归属于CO在钴离于上的吸附;1870cm~(-1)为CO的桥式吸附;1720cm~(-1)则为多中心吸附。当温度高于370K时,吸附的CO会完全脱附。H_2与吸附的CO相互作用可削弱CO吸收峰的强度,并逐步在低波数(1980cm~(-1))处产生一个小肩。水与吸附的CO相互作用产生一种甲酸基物种(1585、1390cm~(-1))。该物种被认为是Kòlbel-Engelhardt反应的中间体。     

ESTIMATE OF THE UPPER CRITICAL FIELD AND CONCENTRATION FOR SUPERCONDUCTOR

The effect of an applied magnetic field on an inhomogeneous superconductor is studied and the value of the upper critical magnetic field Hc3 at which superconductivity can nucleate is estimated. In addition, the authors locate the concentration of the order parameter, which depends on the inhomogeneous term a(x). Unlikely to the homogeneous case, the order parameter may concentrate in the interior of the superconducting material, due to the influence of the inhomogeneous term a(x).     

LOCAL SPECTRA OF UNILATERAL OPERATOR WEIGHTED SHIFTS

In this note, the local spectral properties of unilateral operator weighted shifts arestudied.     

GLOBAL EXISTENCE FOR A CLASS OF SYSTEMSOF NONLINEAR WAVE EQUATIONS INTHREE SPACE DIMENSIONS

Consider a system of nonlinear wave equationsfor i = 1, … , m, where F, (i = 1, … , m) are smooth functions of degree 2 near the origin of their arguments, and u = (u1, … ,um), while u and x u represent the first and second derivatives of u, respectively. In this paper, the author presents a new class of nonlineaxity for which the global existence of small solutions is ensured. For example, global existence of small solutions for arbitrary cubic terms,arbitrary cubic termswill be established, provided that c12 ≠ c22.     

α-FUZZY PAIRWISE RETRACT OF L-VALUED PAIRWISE STRATIFICATION SPACES

The notion of a fuzzy retract was introduced by Rodabaugh (1981). The notion of a fuzzy pairwise retract was introduced in 2001. Some weak forms and some strong forms of α-continuous mappings were introduced in 1988 and 1997. The authors extend some of these forms to the L-fuzzy bitopological setting and construct various α-fuzzy pairwise retracts. The concept of weakly induced spaces in the case L = [0,1] was introduced by Martin (1980). Liu and Luo (1987) generalized this notion to the case that L is an arbitrary F-lattice and introduced the notion of induced L-fts. Several results are obtained, especially, for L-valued pairwise stratification spaces.
