Di‐ and triorganotin(IV) carboxylates, RnSn(OCOC(R2)=CHR1)4–n (n = 2 and 3; R = Me, Et, n‐Bu, Ph; R1 = 3‐CH3O‐4‐OHC6H3, R2 = C6H5) were prepared by reacting the corresponding organotin(IV) chloride with the silver salt of the (E)‐3‐(4‐hydroxy‐3‐methoxyphenyl)‐2‐phenylpropenoic acid. The title compounds were investigated and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared (FT‐IR), multinuclear (1H, 13C, 119Sn) NMR, and mass spectrometry, and possible structures were proposed. The complexes and ligand acid ( HL ) have been evaluated in vitro against various bacteria and fungi. The results noticed during the biocidal activity screenings proved their in vitro biological potential. They were also tested for cytotoxicity. 相似文献

The environmental degradation, combined with the continuous depletion of the world's fossil fuel reserves, has forced the search for alternative fuels. This study was performed to investigate the performance of novel biodiesels in the CI engine. The experiments were performed at three different compressions ratios (16:1, 17:1, 18:1) and four loading conditions (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%). Different types of fuels such as jatropha biodiesel (JB), roselle biodiesel (RB), and ternary biodiesel (TB) were prepared and analyzed. The thermal performance of different fuels was analyzed in terms of brake thermal efficiency (BTE), brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), and exhaust gas temperature (EGT). The emission characteristics such as CO2 emission, NOx emission, and smoke emission were analyzed for all types of fuels. The results of these fuels in the engine were compared with mineral diesel (MD). The BTE was increased with increasing compression ratios and loads for all types of fuels. The BSFC was increased with increasing compression ratios but decreased with increasing loads. The increase in emission of NOx was observed at higher compression ratios and loads. However, the CO2 emission was decreased at higher loads and lower compression ratio. The performance curves achieved with a 20% jatropha biodiesel blend showed results that were approximate to those obtained with pure MD. The comparative analysis between different fuels showed that JB exhibit higher thermal performance as compared to other biodiesels. The worldwide demand for energy continues to grow and the production of heavy crude is escalating due to shortage of conventional light crude. The transportation of heavy crude oil from the head-well to the refinery is a challenging task due to its high viscosity and low API gravity. Catalytic aquathermolysis is one of the most significant and cost-effective viscosity reduction techniques employed in the up gradation of the crude oil at elevated temperatures and hence to enhance oil extraction process. In this study, catalytic aquathermolysis of Omani heavy crude oil was performed using magnetite nanoparticles (NPs). The NPs were synthesised by reverse co-precipitation method using iron salts in alkaline medium. The synthesised NPs were characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRD), Energy Dispersive X- Ray analysis (EDX) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The XRD results exhibited a characteristic peak confirming the high purity of iron oxide nanoparticles. The FTIR spectral analysis designated two well-defined peaks corresponding to wave numbers of 500 ?cm?1 and 630 ?cm?1, endorses the presence of Fe–O. The catalytic aquathermolysis experiments were carried out in a Parr high temperature-high pressure batch reactor at different experimental conditions. The processing parameters in temperature range of 250 ?°C - 300 ?°C, 0.1% to 0.3% catalyst loading, water to oil ratio of 1:7 to 3:7 with 24–72 ?h of reaction time. The initial pressure in the reactor was maintained at 32 ?bars and the optimization was performed using the Taguchi method to maximize the level of heavy oil. An orthogonal array was employed to analyse the effects of mean response and mean signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) to upgrade the heavy oil. The regression analysis was used to establish a relationship between the viscosity and experimental parameters. The experimental outcomes indicates that the maximum reduction in viscosity occurred at a processing temperature of 300 ?°C, 1:7 ?W/O ratio, 0.1 ?wt% of catalyst concentration and 48 ?h of reaction time. Similarly, the optimum conditions for the reduction in API gravity were obtained at 280 ?°C temperature, 3:7 ?W/O ratio, 0.2 ?wt% of catalyst concentration and a reaction time of 24 ?h. 相似文献

In recent years, fullerene nanoparticles have received extensive attention due to their unique physical and chemical properties. Properly modified fullerene nanoparticles have excellent biocompatibility and significant anti-tumor activity and anti-depression, which makes them have broad application prospects in the field of cancer anti-depression. The present study used the density functional theory (DFT) calculations to perform a theoretical examination of the interaction of fluoxetine (F) as medicine with the functionalized fullerene O and NO (F–O and F–NO surface in gas phase physiological media. According to DFT calculations, adsorption energies were ?3396.6350645, ?3540.2952907, ?6778.526894, and ?6952.251487 kJ for F/P complexes (fullerene O and NO (F–O and F–NO surface) respectively, proposing the possibility of the adsorption process of F molecule onto the fullerene surface concerning the energetic perspective. Calculations of electronic parameters aimed at determining the molecule's reactivity. Bandgap of F–O and F–NO were 0.03715, 0.04328 respectively, by this value we can recognize the reactivity of complexes. 相似文献

Simmondsia chinensis L. commonly called as Jojoba and belongs to family Simmondsiaceae. It has shown positive pharmacological activities of these compounds which include antidiabetic, antirheumatic, anthelminthic, antipsoriatic, antioxidant, antiepileptic, antigonorrheal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and pesticidal activity of jojoba. The multifaceted action of numerous bioactives existing in the seed extract with therapeutic activity have attracted great research interest by pharmaceutical industries. n-hexane extract of Simmondsia chinensis L. (SC) Seeds was analysed by gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy for identification and characterization of phytobioconstituents and its therapeutic claim by traditional system. The major compounds discovered in SC seeds extract are cis-9-octadecen-1-ol (24.85%), 9-octadecen-1-ol, (Z)- (18.24%), Stigmast-5-en-3-ol (14.10%), Ergost-5-en-3-ol, (3-β)-ol (5.26%), (Z)-14-tricosenyl formate (5.24%), Thiositosteroldisulfide (3.64%), Silane, Dimethyl (dimethylpentyloxysilyloxy) tetradecyloxy- (3.41%), Ergost-5-ene, 3-methoxy-, (3β,24R)- (2.55%), Ergosta-5,22-dien-3-ol (2.22%), 1,19-eicosadiene (2.17%), Pentacosane (2.02%), Stigmasta-5,22-dien-3-ol (1.64%), 1,19-eicosadiene (1.57%), 9-octadecen-1-ol, (Z)- (1.46%), 9,19-cyclo-9β-lanostan-3β-ol, 24-methylene- (1.14%), (9Z)-9-octadecenyl palmitate (1.50%), Hexadecanoic acid, 9-octadecenyl ester, (Z) (1.37%), 9Z)-9-octadecenyl (9Z)-9-hexadecenoate (1.01%). The hexane extract of Simmondsia chinensis seeds comprises various polar and nonpolar phytobioconstituents. These compounds were established qualitatively via GC-MS evaluation. Human Mammary Tumor Virus (HMTV) or Mouse Mammary Tumor Virus holds similarity as an endogenous onco-retrovirus belongs to retroviridae family, predominantly infects the epithelial cell of human as well as mouse. With the recognition of nano-biosensor in nanotechnology, ideal interdigitated electrode (IDE) was genuinely performed for HMTV detection. Aluminium enriched IDE (AlIDE) was fabricated for high performance detection with a cost-effective photolithography technique. In this research, (3-glycidyloxypropyl) trimethoxysilane refined platform was selected to detect the conductivity with HMTV target DNA interaction on the designed AlIDE. Strong binding affinity of streptavidin-biotin with target DNA enhanced the sensitivity by empowering higher number of HMTV probe and target complementation on sensing surface. Furthermore, the target DNA was immobilized on probe modified AlIDE and a quantitative value of 100 aM attained as a lowest detection. A linear with dose-dependent duplex formation was shown with the regression coefficient value of 0.964. Negative control has shown insignificant detection at 10 pM, which justifies the higher fold discrimination with specificity. The excellence of AlIDE performance in detection of HMTV may pave the way for more verification on other diseases. 相似文献
