Five novel phosphate-type hybrid surfactants, CmF2m+1C6H4CH[OPO2(OC6H5)Na]CnH2n+1 (FmPHnPPhNa: m = 4, 6, 8; n = 3, 5; C6H4 = p-phenylene, C6H5 = phenyl), have been synthesized. When compared with sulfate-type hybrid surfactants, CmF2m+1C6H4CH(OSO3Na)CnH2n+1 (C6H4 = p-phenylene), the new hybrid surfactants are found to have comparable abilities to lower surface tension of water. The critical micelle concentrations of FmPHnPPhNa follow Klevens rule and their occupied areas per molecule increase with increasing m and n. Calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHAp) pellets modified with FmPH3PPhNa gives high hydrophobic and lipophobic surfaces. The hybrid surfactants are expected as new dental reagents for oral hygiene. 相似文献

Abstract— The photodimerization of 1-cyclohexylthymine (l-CT).and the effect of adding 9-ethyladenine (9-EA) on this reaction were studied in chloroform and/or acetonitrile solutions. The photodimerization of 1-CT is shown to occur through an excited triplet state. 9-EA works as an inhibitor against this reaction by quenching the excited singlet state of 1-CT. It is suggested that a singlet exciplex made up from the excited state 1-CT and the ground state 9-EA by hydrogen-bonding may play an important role in the quenching process. 相似文献

The absolute structures of some naturally occurring chiral 2-isopropenyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofurans, (+)-remirol (1a), (+)-remiridiol (1b), (+)-angenomalin (2), and (+)-isoangenomalin (3), were studied by respective chiral synthesis. Kinetic resolutions of racemic 2-isopropenyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofurans, 2-isopropenyl-4,6-dimethoxy-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran (4), 4-hydroxy-2-isopropenyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-5-carbaldehyde (8), and 2-isopropenyl-6-(MOM)oxy-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-5-carbaldehyde (11c), by Sharpless dihydroxylation using (DHQ)(2)AQN or (DHQD)(2)AQN gave the corresponding chiral 2-isopropenyl-2,3-dihydrobenzofurans. Chiral (S)-(+)-4 (99% ee, using (DHQD)(2)AQN) was converted to natural remirol (S)-(+)-1a and then to natural remiridiol (S)-(+)-1b. (S)-(+)-8 (97% ee, using (DHQD)(2)AQN) was converted to natural angenomalin (S)-(+)-2. (R)-(-)-11c (>99% ee, using (DHQ)(2)AQN), was converted to natural isoangenomalin (R)-(+)-3. A protein A affinity chromatographic medium based on porous silica modified with phosphorylcholine (PC) groups and amino groups (PNSP) was synthesized. The PC groups functioned as suppressors of non-specific protein adsorption. Recombinant protein A was bound to the amino groups on PNSP with a glutaraldehyde used as a spacer (PNSP-PA). The PC groups and amino groups were immobilized on porous-silica particles using two silane coupling reagents, PC-bound silane, and 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. After optimizing various factors in the synthetic process, the resultant protein A medium showed improvements in non-specific protein adsorption, dynamic binding capacity, and chemical stability under basic conditions compared with conventional protein A affinity media. 相似文献
