The cellular substructure of zinc single crystals prepared by the Czochralski method

The dependence of the size of cellular substructure on the rate of growth and the temperature gradient of metal single crystals grown from the melt by the Czochralski or Bridgmann method are the same. The dependence of the size of elongated cells are of the same type as in the case of cells. A hypothesis on the mechanism of production of elongated cells is proposed regarding the influence of orientation of single crystals.     

Periodic Square-Well Potential and Spontaneous Breakdown of PT-symmetry

A particle moving on a circle in a purely imaginary one-step potential is studied in both the exact and broken PT-symmetric regime.     

Moments of vector measures and pettis integrable functions

Conditions, under which the elements of a locally convex vector space are the moments of a regular vector-valued measure and of a Pettis integrable function, both with values in a locally convex vector space, are investigated.     

Quantum nonlocality and interference in frequency domain

The experiment is proposed which should demonstrate that if the filter providing the spectral selection is placed in the route of one photon of the entangled pair produced by spontaneous down-conversion and the photon is detected behind it then the interference appears in the (distant) Mach-Zehnder interferometer placed in the route of the other photon of the pair even if the optical path difference through the interferometer greatly exceeds the coherence length of the light and if the spectra of these two photons do not overlap. The theoretical analysis is carried out and physical interpretation is discussed.
