The properties of chlorosulphonated polyethylene (CSM) rubber, acrylonitrile rubber (NBR) and their blend (50/50 w/w) were
studied. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) studies supported that CSM/NBR rubber blend is self curable, when cross-linking
takes place between acrylonitrile groups of NBR and –SO2Cl groups or in situ generated allyl chloride moieties of CSM. The thermal stability of vulcanizates was analyzed in nitrogen
by thermogravimetry. It was found that the initial degradation temperature of elastomer based on CSM rubber is lower than
of pure NBR rubber. By adding NBR to CSM rubbers, the degradation temperature of crosslinked material increased, indicating
higher thermal stability. The activation energy for the degradation are determined using the Arrhenius equation The activation
energies for the rubber blends are higher than for elastomers based on pure rubbers. It was found that the mass loss of the
blends at any temperature was between those of the pure rubbers. The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used for
the glass transition temperature determination. It is estimated thermodynamic immiscibility of NBR/CSM blend based on noticed

A set of 8 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) has been analysed in a traffic-limited area in Bologna downtown, both in the gas-phase and in the particulate phase (PM10), and gas-to-particle partitioning has been investigated. From Sep 2002 to May 2003, 28 high volume PM10 samplings were carried out, and in 50 % of the samplings, PM10 concentrations exceeded the limit of 50 microg/m3 established by a 1999 EU directive. A precisely defined sampling strategy was adopted to limit artifacts (8 h sampling in the same time interval) in the 28 samplings carried out in different meteorological conditions. A linear log-log correlation was found between gas-particle partitioning coefficients KBp and the subcooled liquid vapour pressures pB0LB, with rP2P = 0.82 and slope = -0.59. This empirical correlation may be used to anticipate the total (gas + particle-bound) concentration of each PAHs in this urban site, once PM10 and the particle-bound concentration is measured. Parallel samplings of PM10 and of PM2.5 allowed us to ascertain that PM2.5 represents the gross contribution to PM10 and that most of the particle-bound PAHs reside on the finest fraction of particulate matter. 相似文献

Phtalides are secondary metabolites found in several fungi with a wide range of biological activities. A novel phthalide analog was synthesized by Diels–Alder reaction between cyclopentadiene and 3,4-dichlorofuran-2(5H)-one. Quantum mechanical calculations were used in conjunction with the spectrometric methods to determine the structure of the title compound. The calculated NMR chemical shifts for eight candidate pairs of enantiomers were compared with the experimental NMR chemical shifts applying the DP4 probability and mean absolute errors methodology. DP4 analysis using 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts without assignment of the signals presented 100% probability for the correct candidate structure 3d , proving the consistency of the method even without spectra interpretation. Results from theoretical calculation and NMR spectra interpretation were in agreement to the structure of rac-(3aR,4S,4aS,5R,8S,8aR,9R,9aS)-3a,9a-dichloro-3a,4,4a,5,8,8a,9,9a-octahydro-4,9:5,8-dimethanonaphtho[2,3-c]furan-1(3H)-one. 相似文献

The preparation of continuous defect-free fibers from quaternized chitosan derivative (QCh) has been achieved by electrospinning of mixed aqueous solutions of QCh with poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP). The average fiber diameter significantly decreases from 2800 to 1500 nm on increasing the polyelectrolyte content. In order to impart to QCh/PVP electrospun fibers stability to water and water vapor, the fibers have been crosslinked by incorporation of photo-crosslinking additives into QCh/PVP spinning solutions and subsequent UV irradiation of the electrospun fibers. Photo-crosslinked QCh-containing electrospun mats show high antibacterial activity against the Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Gram-negative bacteria Escherichia coli. 相似文献

Colloidal dispersions consisting of β-FeOOH nanorods with three different aspect ratios (4, 75 and 120) were synthesized using thermal hydrolysis of FeCl3 solutions. After surface modification with oleic acid, the β-FeOOH nanorods were incorporated in poly(methyl methacrylate). Transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were applied for structural characterization of the β-FeOOH nanorods. The influence of inorganic phase on the thermal properties of PMMA matrix was studied using thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry. Improvement of the thermal stability and increase of the glass transition temperature were found with the increase of content of inorganic phase and the increase of aspect ratio. 相似文献

The first example of layer-by-layer growth of a metal–organic framework (MOF) directly on transmission electron microscopy (TEM) grids is described. ZIF-8 is deposited on thin amorphous carbon films and subjected to a structure analysis by (scanning) TEM ((S)TEM). This method serves as a two-in-one synthesis and TEM sample-preparation technique and allows straightforward analysis of ZIF-8 crystallites. Artifacts resulting from sample preparation are completely avoided by this approach. The morphological properties, crystal structure, and the chemical composition of the material are investigated with high spatial resolution by a variety of methods of (analytical) electron microscopy. Furthermore, the incorporation of metallic nanoparticles in ZIF-8 by integrating a corresponding step into the layer-by-layer deposition process is examined. The formation of ZIF-8 crystals on the film proceeds as under the absence of nanoparticle-forming synthesis steps. However, the nanoparticles rather cover the supporting amorphous carbon film than being incorporated in the ZIF-8 material. We study experimentally and theoretically the influence of light polarization on the interference patterns behind a diffracting
grating. Different states of polarization and configurations are considered. The experiments are analyzed in terms of electromagnetic
