The effect of a finite size model for both the nuclear charge and magnetic moment distributions on calculated EPR hyperfine structure have been studied using a relativistic four-component method based on density functional theory. This approach employs a restricted kinetically balanced basis (mDKS-RKB) and includes spin-polarization using noncollinear spin-density exchange-correlation functionals in the unrestricted fashion. Benchmark calculations have been carried out for a number of small molecules containing Zn, Cd, Ag, and Hg. The present results are compared with those obtained at the Douglas-Kroll-Hess second order (DKH-2) method. The dependence of the results on the quality of the orbital and auxiliary basis sets has been studied. It was found that some basis sets contain irregularities that deteriorate the results. Especial care has to be taken also on the construction of the auxiliary basis for fitting the total electron and spin-densities.  相似文献

The basic strategic aims in the field of managing high-level radioactive waste and liquidation of nuclear power plants are all contained in the Energy policy of the Slovak Republic. Its aim is to resolve the concept of the backside of the nuclear energetics fuel cycle??long-term deposition of high-level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel (SNF). The most important form of high-level radioactive waste and SNF long-term deposition is their deposition in deep geological formations created by natural as well as engineering barriers used to isolate the long-lived radionuclides from the biosphere. The basic components of these barriers are clays, of which bentonite is generally referred to as the most suitable clay material. There are a few significant bentonite deposits in the Slovak Republic: Jel?ový potok, Kopernica, Lastovce, Lieskovec, Dolná Ves. The review article summarizes the information on geotechnical properties of Slovak bentonites published up-to-date, which is inevitable to know for the intention of their use. It highlights the advantages and shows drawbacks of five Slovak deposits. It suggests further research direction, to draw a thorough hydraulical, microbial and radiation profile of Slovak bentonites.  相似文献

A family of four different Hoveyda‐type initiators bearing a π‐extended carbene ligand was characterized regarding the activity in ring opening metathesis polymerization. One of the initiators shows high activity at ambient temperature, similar to the second generation Hoveyda–Grubbs catalyst and is even suited for the controlled polymerization of certain norbornene derivatives. The other family members exhibit a pronounced latency at room temperature, and polymerization can be triggered by heat. The scope of these initiators in the thermally triggered polymerizations of norbornene derivatives in general and dicyclopentadiene in particular was disclosed. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. On‐line LC‐EC/ESI‐MS has been established as a fast and simple method to mimic some types of oxidation reaction of various drugs and to study the formation and structure of the resulting products. This technique has been applied to a 2,6,9‐trisubstituted purine, R‐roscovitine, which is known to be an inhibitor of some cyclin‐dependent kinases (CDKs) and a potential anticancer drug. Oxidation of R‐roscovitine in an electrochemical cell (EC), operated under various conditions, resulted in appearance of 6 major products. These were further analyzed by high‐resolution mass spectrometry, their structures were elucidated by accurate mass measurement and compared to previously identified R‐roscovitine in vitro/in vivo metabolites. Although none of the observed products was structurally identical to those identified previously in vitro/in vivo, all of them, except for the methoxylated products, resembled similarity due to appearing through the same reaction type. R‐roscovitine in the EC cell underwent N‐dealkylation of the isopropyl moiety, hydroxylation of the aromatic side‐chain, dihydroxylation, methoxylation and dimer formation. The hydroxylation product was identified as Olomoucine II, a R‐roscovitine derivative, which displays 10‐times higher CDK‐inhibiting activity than R‐roscovitine and the occurrence of which, as R‐roscovitine product, has not yet been observed in vitro/in vivo.  相似文献

An exact solution for the electron-vibrational problem of the nonadiabatic molecular system has been obtained. By the quasi-particle transformation technique, the fermionic Hamiltonian has been derived and solved at the ab initio level. Results clearly and unambiguously show that the gap formation due to nonadiabatic electron–phonon coupling is mediated by the one-particle electron–phonon interaction term, whereas the two-particle one represents just a correction to the correlation energy. The temperature dependence of the gap and electronic specific heat connected with the electron–phonon coupling have also been derived.  相似文献

Abstract Porphyrin binding to serum albumin was studied at the molecular level probing the effects of: porphyrin self-aggregation, porphyrin species, temperature and protein-bound fatty acids. Human serum albumin was found to have a single high-affinity site for porphyrin monomers, with binding constants of 2 x 106, 5 x 107 and 3 x 108 (37o C, neutral pH, M −1), for hemato-, deutero- and protoporphyrins, respectively. Three equilibria models for the dimer binding were developed and tested. The data were found to fit best with a model proposing a single high-affinity binding site for the dimer, independent of and different than the monomer site. The binding constants of the hematoporphyrin and deuteroporphyrin dimers to human serum albumin (37o C, neutral pH, M−l) being 4 x 10* and 5 x 108 respectively. The temperature dependence (Dp and HSA, 22-37o C) of the monomer binding showed the process to be entropy-driven (δGo= -45 kJ mol−1; δSo=+146 kJ mol−1; δHo= 0 kJ mol−1). For the dimer binding, the enthalpy change was found to be highly temperature-dependent implying continuous changes in the heat capacity of the system over the entire temperature range, the trend at the 37o C region fitting an entropy-driven process. The monomer vs dimer differences in temperature dependence strongly support separate and independent binding sites for these species. Similar thermodynamics were determined for fatty-acid carrying as well as for fatty-acid free HSA, with mild quantitative (but not qualitative) shifts.  相似文献

Biological molecules such as enzymes, cells, antibodies, lectins, peptide aptamers, and cellular components in an immobilized form are extensively used in biotechnology, in biorecognition and in many medicinal applications. This review provides a comprehensive summary of the developments in new immobilization materials, techniques, and their practical applications previously developed by the authors. A detailed overview of several immobilization materials and technologies is given here, including bead cellulose, encapsulation in ionotropic gels and polyelectrolyte complexes, and various immobilization protocols applied onto surfaces. In addition, the review summarises the screening and design of an immobilization protocol, practical applications of immobilized biocatalysts in the industrial production of metabolites, monitoring, and control of fermentation processes, preparation of electrochemical/optical biosensors and biofuel cells.  相似文献

An asymmetric synthesis of densely functionalized 7–11‐membered carbocycles and 9–11‐membered lactones has been developed. Its key steps are a modular assembly of sulfoximine‐substituted C‐ and O‐tethered trienes and C‐tethered dienynes and their Ru‐catalyzed ring‐closing diene and enyne metathesis (RCDEM and RCEYM). The synthesis of the C‐tethered trienes and dienynes includes the following steps: 1) hydroxyalkylation of enantiomerically pure titanated allylic sulfoximines with unsaturated aldehydes, 2) α‐lithiation of alkenylsulfoximines, 3) alkylation, hydroxy‐alkylation, formylation, and acylation of α‐lithioalkenylsulfoximines, and 4) addition of Grignard reagents to α‐formyl(acyl)alkenylsulfoximines. The sulfoximine group provided for high asymmetric induction in steps 1) and 4). RCDEM of the sulfoximine‐substituted trienes with the second‐generation Ru catalyst stereoselectively afforded the corresponding functionalized 7–11‐membered carbocyles. RCDEM of diastereomeric silyloxy‐substituted 1,6,12‐trienes revealed an interesting difference in reactivity. While the (R)‐diastereomer gave the 11‐membered carbocyle, the (S)‐diastereomer delivered in a cascade of cross metathesis and RCDEM 22‐membered macrocycles. RCDEM of cyclic trienes furnished bicyclic carbocycles with a bicyclo[7.4.0]tridecane and bicyclo[9.4.0]pentadecane skeleton. Selective transformations of the sulfoximine‐ and bissilyloxy‐substituted carbocycles were performed including deprotection, cross‐coupling reaction and reduction of the sulfoximine moiety. Esterification of a sulfoximine‐substituted homoallylic alcohol with unsaturated carboxylic acids gave the O‐tethered trienes, RCDEM of which yielded the sulfoximine‐substituted 9–11‐membered lactones. RCEYM of a sulfoximine‐substituted 1,7‐dien‐10‐yne showed an unprecedented dichotomy in ring formation depending on the Ru catalyst. While the second‐generation Ru catalyst gave the 9‐membered exo 1,3‐dienyl carbocycle, the first‐generation Ru catalyst furnished a truncated 9‐membered 1,3‐dieny carbocycle having one CH2 unit less than the dienyne.  相似文献

A switchable solvent-based micro-extraction method for pre-concentration and separation of ultratrace palladium was developed prior to its flame atomic absorption spectrometric detection. Reverse change of hydrophilicity of N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine (DMA) was achieved by reaction with carbonated water. The hydrophilic bicarbonate salt of the protonated DMA was used as extractant for palladium complexed with 2-(5-bromo-2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol (5-Br-PADAP). Formation of the hydrophobic form of switchable solvent from hydrophilic form of switchable solvent phase was achieved by addition of sodium hydroxide into the extractant-sample solution. The effect of key parameters affected extraction recovery was studied and optimised by using Plackett–Burman design, central composite design and three dimension (3D) surfaces response. The calibration plot was linear in the range 0.015–1.6 mg L?1 of palladium with a correlation coefficient of 0.999. The limit of detections values of palladium for liquid and solid samples were 4.28 μg L?1 and 0.54 µg g?1, respectively. The pre-concentration factor was 37.5. The accuracy was confirmed by determination of palladium in certified reference material. The procedure was also applied for determination of palladium content of real samples as automotive catalytic converter, roadside dust, sea water and river water.  相似文献

New centrosymmetric trinuclear zinc(II) complex {[Zn(μ-ONN)(μ2-O)(μ-OO)]2Zn} has been synthesized by the reaction of a potentially ONN tridentate Schiff base ligand, and N,N-dimethylethylendiamin, with Zn(OAc)2·2H2O in methanol, in the refluxed conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray structure analysis reveals a trinuclear complex {[Zn(μ-ONN)(μ2-O)(μ-OO)]2Zn} with zinc(II) ions connected by three different bridges, (μ-ONN) of the Schiff base ligand, μ2-O and μ-OO of the acetate. The complex is centrosymmetric, with one of the Zn atoms located at the inversion center. While the central Zn(II) ion is six-coordinated, the coordination number of the other Zn(II) ions is five. Finally, the {[Zn(μ-ONN)(μ2-O)(μ-OO)]2Zn} complex was thermally decomposed in air at 700 °C resulted in ZnO nano crystalites with the average size of 42 nm. The antibacterial activity of ligand and its zinc(II) complex were tested against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The ligand showed higher activity than its zinc(II) complex.  相似文献
