The classes ofL ₁-matrices,L ₂-matrices,L ₃-matrices andW-matrices are introduced to study solvability of a linear complementarity problem via solving a linear program. Three sufficient conditions are presented to guarantee that a linear complementarity problem is solvable via a linear program. The new sufficient conditions are weaker than the ones introduced by Mangasarian. This fact is also illustrated by an example. Partially supported by NSFC. Influence of Preparation Conditions on Properties of a Copper-Containing Catalyst for Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Acetone

Stages of synthesis of a copper-containing catalyst for electrocatalytic oxidation of acetone in waste gases were studied. The course of the extrusion and calcination and their influence on electrocatalytic oxidation of acetone on the catalyst synthesized were analyzed.     

Direct Single-Stage Conversion of Synthesis Gas to Dimethoxymethane: Influence of the Sequence of Metal Introduction into Cu, Pd-Zeolite Catalysts on the Degree of Cu and Pd Reduction and Catalyst Acidity

The influence of the sequence of Cu and Pd introduction into zeolite matrice when preparing Cu, Pd-zeolite catalysts on their acidity and degree of metal reduction was studied. The mutual influence of Cu and Pd on their reducibility was analyzed. The selectivity of Cu, Pd-zeolite catalysts in conversion of synthesis gas to different products was elucidated.     

New 6-Arylsulfonyl-1,2-benzoisothiazol-3(2H)-one 1,1-Dioxides Derived from Diphenyl Sulfone Monosulfonyl Chlorides

Various methods were studied for the oxidation of 2-methyl-5-(phenylsulfonyl)benzenesulfamide and its derivatives. The oxidation by sodium dichromate in sulfuric acid was found most efficient. The effects of temperature, concentration, reagent ratio, and time of the oxidation reaction on the yield of the desired product were investigated. Conditions were proposed for obtaining the desired product in yields up to 95%. A synthesis was developed for a series of new saccharin derivatives.     

肾上腺素与二甲亚砜氢键作用的理论研究

采用PM 3半经验方法对肾上腺素和二甲亚砜与肾上腺素形成的 1∶1复合物的结构进行了几何优化 .在此基础上用密度泛函理论 (DFT)的B3LYP方法 ,分别在 6 31G、6 31G 、6 31+G 基组水平上进行了精确计算 ,并通过单点能计算考察了它们之间在形成各种复合物前后的能量和分子结构参数变化特点 .在各基组水平上所有物种的能量均进行零点振动能 (ZPVE)校正 .计算结果表明 ,二甲亚砜与肾上腺素能形成 6种稳定的复合物 ,在这些复合物中都具有较强的氢键作用 .计算结果能够解释有关实验现象     

Noncollinear optical parametric amplification in lithium triborate seeded by a cw Ti:sapphire laser

Experimental investigations of a type-I noncollinear phase-matched optical parametric amplification based on lithium triborate, which was pumped by a 5-ns second-harmonic pulses from a Q-switched Nd:YAG, seeded by a cw Ti:sapphire laser at 800 nm, was presented. The experiments generated 2-ns signal output pulses at 800 nm, the maximum signal output pulse energy reached 19 μJ, the corresponding parametric gain was 44 dB. Furthermore, the experiments demonstrate that the 65 nm-FWHM parametric fluorescence gain spectrum could also be observed. A quantitative account of the ultrabroadband parametric fluorescence gain spectrum was given with our theory. The experimental measurements are in agreement with theoretical calculations.     

Propagation characteristics of linearly polarized Bessel-Gaussian beams through an annular apertured paraxial ABCD optical system

By means of Collins diffraction integral formula in the paraxial approximation and based on the fact that a hard aperture function can be expanded into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, an approximate analytical expression for linearly polarized Bessel-Gaussian beams passing through a paraxial ABCD optical system with an annular aperture has been derived. The results provide more convenient for studying their propagation and transformation than the usual way by using diffraction integral directly. By using the analytical expression and the diffraction integral formula some numerical simulations are done to illustrate for the propagation characteristics of a linearly polarized Bessel-Gaussian beam through an optical system with an annular aperture.
