Poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) has been the focus of great interest as it is widely used in organic solar cells. However, P3HT has relatively poor photochemical and thermal stability under ambient atmosphere, which leads to a reduced lifetime of the solar cells. It was therefore necessary to study the photo- and thermooxidation of P3HT. Thin P3HT films were exposed to UV-visible light irradiation and thermal ageing, both in the presence of air. Changes in the infrared spectra of the aged samples were recorded, and the oxidation products were identified. A degradation mechanism that accounted for the modifications in the infrared spectra was then developed. This mechanism confirmed that singlet oxygen plays no decisive role, as previously reported. Oxidation was shown to involve the radical oxidation of the n-hexyl side-chains and the subsequent degradation of the thiophene rings. The breaking of the macromolecular backbone resulted in a loss of π-conjugation, provoking the bleaching of the sample.  相似文献

Stable analogues : An effective synthetic route involving cycloaddition between alkynes and azidonucleosides to afford a new class of stable aminoacyl‐tRNA analogues such as depicted is presented. Biological evaluation showed that theses new compounds act as potent inhibitors of FemXWv aminoacyl transferase, a novel drug target.

The structural properties of glassy GeSe2 were studied by using first-principles molecular dynamics with the Becke, Lee, Yang and Parr (BLYP) expression for the exchange-correlation energy within density functional theory. A comparison is made with the results previously obtained for this material by using first-principles molecular dynamics with the Perdew and Wang (PW) exchange-correlation functional. Overall, the structures of the BLYP-GeSe2 and PW-GeSe2 networks are quite similar, the BLYP approach favoring a larger number of Ge–Ge homopolar bonds, in better agreement with the experimental results. The BLYP network does, however, feature a smaller fraction of corner-sharing motifs by comparison with the PW network but the fraction of edge-sharing motifs is the same for both structures, at least within the confines of an approach based on a single temporal trajectory. Further studies are required to determine whether agreement between the BLYP structure and experiment can be improved by taking the average over a larger number of temporal trajectories or whether additional developments are required for the exchange-correlation part of the energy functional.  相似文献

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) is considered as the gold standard for colloidal stabilization of nanomedicines, yet PEG is non-degradable and lacks functionality on the backbone. Herein, we introduce concomitantly PEG backbone functionality and degradability via a one-step modification with 1,2,4-triazoline-3,5-diones (TAD) under green light. The TAD-PEG conjugates are degradable in aqueous medium under physiological conditions, with the rate of hydrolysis depending on pH and temperature. Subsequently, a PEG-lipid is modified with TAD-derivatives and successfully used for messenger RNA (mRNA) lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery, thereby improving mRNA transfection efficiency on multiple cell cultures in vitro. In vivo, in mice, mRNA LNP formulation exhibited a similar tissue distribution as common LNPs, with a slight decrease in transfection efficiency. Our findings pave the road towards the design of degradable, backbone-functionalized PEG for applications in nanomedicine and beyond.  相似文献

In this contribution we will describe in detail a Density Functional Theory method based on a Daubechies wavelets basis set, named BigDFT. We will see that, thanks to wavelet properties, this code shows high systematic convergence properties, very good performances and an excellent efficiency for parallel calculations. BigDFT code operation are also well-suited for GPU acceleration. We will discuss how the problematic of fruitfully benefit of this new technology can be match with the needs of robustness and flexibility of a complex code like BigDFT. This work may be of interest not only for expert in electronic structure calculations, but may also provide feedback to the wider community of high performance scientific computing.  相似文献

This paper evaluates the 2‐hydroxyazobenzene platform for tailoring proton concentration pulses and oscillations with monochromatic light. The easily prepared 2‐hydroxyazobenzenes exhibit large absorptions in the near‐UV range. Photoisomerization was investigated by UV/Vis absorption, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and steady‐state fluorescence emission. In the whole investigated series, the trans stereoisomer of the 2‐hydroxyazobenzene motif provides the corresponding cis derivative with an action cross section in the 103 M ?1 cm?1 range. At the same time, photoisomerization is accompanied by a significant pK drop of the phenol group. According to the phenyl‐substituent pattern, cis‐to‐trans thermal back‐isomerization can be tuned in the 10 ms–100 s range. Up to 2 units of reversible pH drops or pH oscillations on the 10 s timescale have been obtained by appropriately tailoring single‐wavelength illumination of 2‐hydroxyazobenzene solutions.  相似文献

A fluorescence imaging technique was used to monitor intracellular localization of protein kinase C (PKC) in U-87 MG human glioma cells in the presence of hypericin (Hyp) and phorbol 12-myristate-13-acetate (PMA). It is shown that PKC localization, which reflects its activity, is influenced by Hyp and this influence is different from that observed for PMA which acts as PKC activator. Fluorescence binding experiments were used to determine the binding constants of Hyp to several isoforms of PKC. The obtained values of K(d)s (approximately 100 nM) suggest that Hyp binds with high affinity to PKC. Finally, molecular modeling was used to compare structural models of the interaction of C1B domain of PKC (PKC isoforms alpha, delta, gamma) with Hyp and our previously published model of the (C1B domain PKCgamma)/PMA complex. The influence of Hyp on PKC translocation in U-87 MG cells in comparison with PMA, colocalization fluorescence pattern of Hyp and PKC, the higher binding affinity of Hyp to PKC in comparison with known binding constants of phorbol esters, as well as the binding mode of Hyp and PMA to the C1B domain of PKC suggested by molecular modeling, support the idea that Hyp and PMA might competitively bind to the regulatory domain of PKC.  相似文献

We have investigated decentralized active control of periodic panel vibration using multiple pairs combining PZT actuators and PVDF sensors distributed on the panel. By contrast with centralized MIMO controllers used to actively control the vibrations or the sound radiation of extended structures, decentralized control using independent local control loops only requires identification of the diagonal terms in the plant matrix. However, it is difficult to a priori predict the global stability of such decentralized control. In this study, the general situation of noncollocated actuator-sensor pairs was considered. Frequency domain gradient and Newton-Raphson adaptation of decentralized control were analyzed, both in terms of performance and stability conditions. The stability conditions are especially derived in terms of the adaptation coefficient and a control effort weighting coefficient. Simulations and experimental results are presented in the case of a simply supported panel with four PZT-PVDF pairs distributed on it. Decentralized vibration control is shown to be highly dependent on the frequency, but can be as effective as a fully centralized control even when the plant matrix is not diagonal-dominant or is not strictly positive real (not dissipative).  相似文献
