This study investigates the potential of coconut leaves as a precursor to obtain activated carbon. Coconut leaf-activated carbon (CLAC) has been prepared through gas activation process starting with carbonization at 400 °C in nitrogen flow for 3 h. The carbonized coconut leaves were milled using planetary ball milling followed by activation with carbon dioxide (CO2) at different temperatures ranging from 700 to 1000 °C. The Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) characterization reveals that the surface area of CLACs increases with the increase in activation temperature. Electrodes prepared from CLACs have been used to fabricate electrochemical double-layer capacitors (EDLCs) in order to study the electrochemical behavior using galvanostatic charge–discharge measurements and cyclic voltammetry. The carbon activated at 900 °C delivered the best specific capacitance of 133.4 F/g at current density of 200 mA/g. 相似文献

In this paper we discuss a relatively general kind of iterative functional equation G(x,f(x),..., fn(x))=0 (for all x∈J), where J is a connected closed subset of the real number axis R, G∈Cm(Jn+1, R), and n≥2. Using the method of approximating fixed points by small shift of maps, choosing suitable metrics on functional spaces and finding a relation between uniqueness and stability of fixed points of maps of general spaces, we prove the existence, uniqueness and stability of Cm solutions of the above equation for any integer m≥0 under relatively weak conditions, and generalize related results in reference in different aspects. 相似文献

A new route for obtaining N-doped carbon nanosheets through an in situ solid-state thermal organic–inorganic polymerization and carbonization method, with glucose and melamine as precursors, due to different temperature intervals for glucose or melamine polymerization, is reported. At a current rate of 0.2 C, as a cathode for a lithium–sulfur cell, the N-doped carbon nanosheet/sulfur hybrid delivers a high capacity of 1313 and 722 mA h g−1 in the 1st and 200th cycles, respectively; these values are over 40 % higher than that of cells with glucose-derived carbon nanosheets. 相似文献
