Ruthenium-based oxides with rutile structure were examined regarding their properties in electrocatalytic ethene oxidation in acid media. A possible promoting effect of chloride ions toward oxirane formation was explored. Online differential electrochemical mass spectrometry combined with electrochemical polarization techniques were used to monitor the potential dependence of organic products resulting from ethene oxidation as well as the reaction solution decomposition products. Quantum chemical modeling by means of density functional theory was employed to study key reaction steps. The ethene oxidation in acid media led to CO(2), whereas oxirane was formed in the presence of 0.3 M Cl(-). In the Cl(-) promoted oxidation on RuO(2), oxirane and a small amount of CO(2) were the only detected electro-oxidation products at potentials below the onset of Cl(2) and O(2) evolution, resulting from Cl(-) and water oxidation. It is demonstrated here that the epoxidation is a surface-related electrocatalytic process that depends on the surface properties. Cl acts as the epoxidation promoter that switches off the combustion pathway toward CO(2) and enables the epoxidation reaction channel by surface reactive sites blocking. The proposed epoxidation mechanism implies binuclear (recombination) mechanism for O(2) evolution reaction on considered surfaces.  相似文献

We previously reported on enantioselective aldol reactions of acetone and some aldehydes catalyzed by chiral Zn2+ complexes of L ‐prolyl‐pendant [12]aneN4 (L ‐ZnL1) and L ‐valyl‐pendant [12]aneN4 (L ‐ZnL2) in aqueous solution. Here, we report on the one‐pot chemoenzymatic synthesis of chiral 1,3‐diols in an aqueous solvent system at room temperature by a combination of enantioselective aldol reactions catalyzed by Zn2+ complexes of L ‐ and D ‐phenylalanyl‐pendant [12]aneN4 (L ‐ZnL3 and D ‐ZnL3) and the successive enantioselective reduction of the aldol products using oxidoreductases with the regeneration of the NADH (reduced form of nicotinamine adenine dinucleotide) cofactor. The findings indicate that all four stereoisomers of 1,3‐diols can be produced by appropriate selection of a chiral Zn2+‐complex and an oxidoreductase commercially available from the “Chiralscreen OH” kit.  相似文献

The application of hybrid polymer precursor gel for distributed feedback (DFB) grating laser fabricated by short‐pulse laser interference has been investigated. The precursor gel was prepared by sol–gel process from siloxane‐modified methacrylate monomer. The molecular structure characterization results show the formation of inorganic networks within the precursor gel, which further undergoes the formation of organic–inorganic polymer network by photopolymerization. The laser interference was performed by using the frequency‐tripled output of nanosecond Nd–YAG laser. The fabricated DFB gratings exhibit photopumped lasing actions with high consistency between the grating periodicity (between 380 and 1030 nm) and the lasing wavelength, which appears at the wavelength of the second‐order Bragg reflection. The atomic force microcopy measurements clearly show the formation of surface relief (corrugated) structure in those gratings. The mechanism of surface relief formation is attributed to a fast photo‐induced swelling process, which is unique property belonging to this kind of hybrid polymer precursor gel. We have developed an LSI-based amperometric sensor called "Bio-LSI" with 400 measurement points as a platform for electrochemical bio-imaging and multi-point biosensing. The system is comprised of a 10.4 mm × 10.4 mm CMOS sensor chip with 20 × 20 unit cells, an external circuit box, a control unit for data acquisition, and a DC power box. Each unit cell of the chip contains an operational amplifier with a switched-capacitor type I-V converter for in-pixel signal amplification. We successfully realized a wide dynamic range from ±1 pA to ±100 nA with a well-organized circuit design and operating software. In particular, in-pixel signal amplification and an original program to control the signal read-out contribute to the lower detection limit and wide detection range of Bio-LSI. The spacial resolution is 250 μm and the temporal resolution is 18-125 ms/400 points, which depends on the desired current detection range. The coefficient of variance of the current for 400 points is within 5%. We also demonstrated the real-time imaging of a biological molecule using Bio-LSI. The LSI coated with an Os-HRP film was successfully applied to the monitoring of the changes of hydrogen peroxide concentration in a flow. The Os-HRP-coated LSI was spotted with glucose oxidase and used for bioelectrochemical imaging of the glucose oxidase (GOx)-catalyzed oxidation of glucose. Bio-LSI is a promising platform for a wide range of analytical fields, including diagnostics, environmental measurements and basic biochemistry.  相似文献

The redox-active fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) (mp: o-mercaptophenolato) bearing asymmetric O- and S-cation binding sites can bind with several kinds of metal ions such as Na(+), Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(I). The fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) metalloligand coordinates to Na(+) to form the contact ion pair {Na(+)(THF)(3)[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)]} (1), while a separated ion pair, n-Bu(4)N[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)] (2), is obtained by exchanging Na(+) with n-Bu(4)N(+). In the presence of asymmetric binding-sites, the metalloligand reacts with Mn(II)Cl(2)·4H(2)O, Fe(II)Cl(2)·4H(2)O, Co(II)Cl(2)·6H(2)O, and Ni(II)Cl(2)·6H(2)O to afford UV-vis-NIR spectra, indicating binding of these guest metal cations. Especially, for the cases of the Mn(II) and Co(II) products, trinuclear complexes, {M(H(2)O)(MeOH)[fac-Mo(V)(mp)(3)](2)}·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (M = Mn(II)), 4·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) (M = Co(II))), are successfully isolated and structurally characterized where the M are selectively bound to the hard O-binding sites of the fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-). On the other hand, a coordination polymer, {Cu(I)(CH(3)CN)[mer-Mo(V)(mp)(3)]}(n) (5), is obtained by the reaction of fac-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) with [Cu(I)(CH(3)CN)(4)]ClO(4). In sharp contrast to the cases of 1, 3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2), and 4·1.5CH(2)Cl(2), the Cu(I) in 5 are selectively bound to the soft S-binding sites, where each Cu(I) is shared by two [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) with bidentate or monodentate coordination modes. The second notable feature of 5 is found in the geometric change of the [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-), where the original fac-form of 1 is isomerized to the mer-[Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-) in 5, which was structurally and spectroscopically characterized for the first time. Such isomerization demonstrates the structural flexibility of the [Mo(V)(mp)(3)](-). Spectroscopic studies strongly indicate that the association/dissociation between the guest metal ions and metalloligand can be modulated by solvent polarity. Furthermore, it was also found that such association/dissociation features are significantly influenced by coexisting anions such as ClO(4)(-) or B(C(6)F(5))(4)(-). This suggests that coordination bonds between the guest metal ions and metalloligand are not too static, but are sufficiently moderate to be responsive to external environments. Moreover, electrochemical data of 1 and 3·1.5CH(2)Cl(2) demonstrated that guest metal ion binding led to enhance electron-accepting properties of the metalloligand. Our results illustrate the use of a redox-active chalcogenolato complex with a simple mononuclear structure as a multifunctional metalloligand that is responsive to chemical and electrochemical stimuli.  相似文献

Reaction of p-substituted phenols 2 with a catalytic amount of 4-iodophenoxyacetic acid (1) and Oxone® as a co-oxidant in tetrahydrofuran (THF) or 1,4-dioxane-water gave the corresponding p-quinols 3 in excellent yields. Reaction of p-dialkoxyarenes 4 in 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol-water gave the corresponding p-quinones 5 in excellent yield without purification. These reactions provide efficient and practical methods for the preparation of p-quinols and p-quinones from p-substituted phenols and p-dialkoxyarenes, respectively. This quinone synthesis was applied to synthesis of blattellaquinone (13), the sex pheromone of the German cockroach Blattella germanica.  相似文献

We introduce Riemannian‐like structures associated with strong local Dirichlet forms on general state spaces. Such structures justify the principle that the pointwise index of the Dirichlet form represents the effective dimension of the virtual tangent space at each point.
