An end‐π‐allylnickel macroinitiator ( 3 ) was prepared by the reaction of poly(ethylene glycol) allenyl methyl ether with an excess amount (5 equiv) of [(π‐allyl)NiOCOCF3]2 ( 1 ) in the presence of PPh3 ([PPh3]/[ 1 ] = 1). The resulting macroinitiator was used as an initiator for the polymerization of 1‐phenylethyl isonitrile ( 4a ) to give a block copolymer [poly(ethylene glycol)‐block‐poly( 4a )]. The molecular weight and composition of the block copolymers were controlled by the molecular weight of 3 and the ratio of 4a to 3 . © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The volume phase transition of nonionic hydrogels was controlled with a very small amount of variation (pinpoint variation) of the side chains far from the main chain. The copolymer hydrogels poly(methacryloyl‐alanine methyl ester‐co‐methacryloyl‐alanine ethyl ester) [poly(MA‐Ala‐OMe‐co‐MA‐Ala‐OEt)] and poly(methacryloyl‐alanine alkylamide‐co‐methacryloyl‐alanine ethyl ester) [poly(MA‐Ala‐NR2co‐MA‐Ala‐OEt)] were studied to investigate how pinpoint variation controls the volume phase transition. All copolymer hydrogels showed a volume phase transition from a swollen phase to a collapsed phase at a definite MA‐Ala‐OEt content at a specific temperature. The MA‐Ala‐OEt content at the midpoint of the transition linearly decreased with elevation of the temperature, and the decrease was larger for poly(MA‐Ala‐OMe‐co‐MA‐Ala‐OEt) than for poly(MA‐Ala‐NR2co‐MA‐Ala‐OEt). These results suggest that the association of the side chains controlling the swelling character of the hydrogels depends on the interacting ester–ester or ester–amide groups, and the former is larger than the latter. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Here, we report the kinetic energy distributions (KEDs) of the fragment ions produced from multiply ionized ethane (C2H6) molecules in single electron capture collisions with 1.2 MeV C2+. To systematically investigate the fragmentation dynamics, the KEDs were obtained as functions of the charge state of the intermediate C2H6r+* ions r transiently generated prior to fragmentation. r was determined from coincidence measurement of the fragment ions and the number of emitted electrons. The KEDs are drastically different depending on the number of broken C–H bonds. The underlying causes are explained by the variation of the relative contributions of the multiply ionized states and preferential fragmentation pathways. For instance, CHn+ fragment ions with smaller n exhibit lower KEs because they are likely to be correlated with H+ emission, which carries away a large portion of the KE release. In addition, we report the KEDs of H3+ produced from doubly and triply charged states.  相似文献

采用中子散射和X射线散射研究了液态水在298~373 K温度范围内的结构,通过偏径向分布函数(PDF)、配位数分布(CN)、角分布(ADF)及空间密度分布(SDF)等讨论了温度对液态水结构的影响。整体来看,液态水具有"不规则四面体"氢键网络的短程有序结构,该有序度可延续到第三水合层。液态水分子的第一水合层中,围绕中心水分子约有4.8个水分子,然而其中仅有约3.3个水分子与中心水分子通过氢键相键合,约1/3进入到第一水合层的水分子并未与中心水分子直接键合,也正是这些间隙水分子的存在加剧了液态水结构的复杂性。温度对液态水的有序度存在一定的影响,在298~373 K的有限温度变化范围内,温度对液态水中氢键的键长、键角分布及第一水合层SDF的影响不大。从298K升温到373K,O(W)-O(W)距离仅增加0.03?,氢键数目也仅有微小减少,温度对第二和第三水合层的影响则要显著很多。  相似文献

A selective and sensitive fluorometric determination method for native fluorescent peptides has been developed. This method is based on intramolecular fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) detection in a liquid chromatography (LC) system following precolumn derivatization of the amino groups of tryptophan (Trp)-containing peptides. In this detection process, we monitored the FRET from the native fluorescent Trp moieties (donor) to the derivatized fluorophore (acceptor). From a screening study involving 10 fluorescent reagents, we found that o-phthalaldehyde (OPA) generated FRET most effectively. The OPA derivatives of the native fluorescent peptides emitted OPA fluorescence (445 nm) through an intramolecular FRET process when they were excited at the excitation maximum wavelength of the Trp-containing peptides (280 nm). The generation of FRET was confirmed through comparison with the analysis of a non-fluorescent peptide (C-reactive protein fragment (77 - 82)) performed using LC and a three-dimensional fluorescence detection system. We were able to separate the OPA derivatives of the Trp-containing peptides when performing LC on a reversed-phase column. The detection limits (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) for the Trp-containing peptides, at a 20-microL injection volume, were 41 - 180 fmol. The sensitivity of the intramolecular FRET-forming derivatization method is higher than that of the system that takes advantage of the conventional detection of OPA derivatives. Moreover, native non-fluorescent amines and peptides in the sample monitored at FRET detection are weaker than those of conventional fluorescence detection.  相似文献

The reaction γ+d → π+? +p + n has been measured in a kinematically complete way at incident photon energies from 570 to 850 MeV in steps of 40 MeV. From detailed comparison of measured data with results of event simulations, it is concluded that three different mechanisms, the quasi-free, double-delta and phase space productions, contribute to the reaction. Each of the cross sections corresponding to these mechanisms is determined separately.  相似文献

A new anhydro disaccharide monomer, 1,6‐anhydro‐2,3‐di‐o‐benzyl‐4‐o‐(2′,3′,4′,6′‐tetra‐o‐benzyl‐β‐D ‐galactopyranosyl)‐β‐D ‐glucopyranose (benzylated 1,6‐anhydro lactose (LSHBE)), was synthesized from D ‐lactose to investigate the polymerizability and biological activities of the resulting branched polysaccharides. The ring‐opening polymerization of LSHBE was carried out with phosphorus pentafluoride as a catalyst under high vacuum to give a stereoregular benzylated (1 → 6)‐α‐D ‐lactopyranan. The molecular weights of poly(LSHBE)s increased with an increase in the amount of CH2Cl2 solvent, and polymerization temperatures were affected in both molecular weights and yields of the polymers. The copolymerization of LSHBE with benzylated 1,6‐anhydro‐β‐D ‐glucopyranose (LGTBE) gave the corresponding copolysacchrides having different proportions of lactose and glucose units in good yields. After debenzylation to recover hydroxyl groups and then sulfation, sulfated homopoly(lactose)s and copoly(lactose and glucose)s were obtained. Sulfated homopoly(lactose)s had moderate anti‐HIV (EC50 = 5.9 and 1.3 μg/mL) and blood anticoagulant activities (AA = 18 and 13 unit/mg), respectively. Sulfated copoly(lactose and glucose) having 15 mol % lactose units gave high anti‐HIV and blood anticoagulant activities of 0.3 μg/mL and 54 unit/mg, respectively. These biological results suggest that the distance between branched units on the main chain plays an important role in the anti‐HIV and blood anticoagulant activities. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
