The density and speed of sound of the ternary mixture (diethyl carbonate + p-xylene + octane) have been measured at atmospheric pressure and in the temperature range T = (288.15 to 308.15) K. Besides, surface tension has been also determined for the same mixture at T = 298.15 K. The experimental measurements have allowed the calculation of the corresponding derived properties: excess molar volumes, excess isentropic compressibilities, and surface tension deviations. Excess properties have been correlated using Nagata and Tamura equation and correlation for the surface tension deviation has been done with the Cibulka equation. Good accuracy has been obtained. Based on the variations of the derived properties values with composition, a qualitative discussion about the intermolecular interactions was drawn.  相似文献

A series of thiolate gold(I) derivatives bearing water soluble phosphanes--namely sodium triphenylphosphane monosulfonate (TPPMS), sodium triphenylphosphane trisulfonate (TPPTS), 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane (PTA) and 3,7-diacetyl-1,3,7-triaza-5-phosphabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane (DAPTA)--is reported and the compounds studied for their luminescence properties in the solid state. Two of these derivatives, [Au(SMe(2)pyrim)(PTA)] and [Au(SBenzoxazole)(DAPTA)], are also structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. Strong antiproliferative effects are observed for most of the compounds in the human ovarian carcinoma cell lines (A2780/S) and its cisplatin-resistant variant (A2780/R), which depend on both the type of thiolate and phosphane ligands. ICP-MS studies were also performed to evaluate the influence of the gold uptake on the cytotoxic potency of the compounds.  相似文献

A new PHEA‐IB‐PMANa+ copolymer has been synthesized and its pH‐induced self‐assembly has been investigated in an aqueous medium. PHEA‐IB‐PMANa+ formed nanoparticles with diameters from 25 to 50 nm upon protonation of the carboxylic acid moieties dislocated along the grafted polymethacrylate sodium salt side chains. The physico‐chemical characterization of the nanoparticles was performed using light scattering, zeta‐potential measurements, SEM, and AFM. Doxorubicin‐loaded nanoparticles were prepared and drug release profiles were evaluated under conditions mimicking physiological media. A biological characterization was carried out by testing the cytotoxicity on Caco‐2 cells, and cellular uptake on mouse monocyte macrophage (J774 A.1) and Caco‐2 cells.

Functional supramolecular architectures for bottom-up organic nano- and microtechnology are a high priority research topic. We discovered a new recognition algorithm, resulting from the combination of thioalkyl substituents and head-to-head regiochemistry of substitution, to induce the spontaneous self-assembly of sulfur overrich octathiophenes into supramolecular crystalline fibers combining high charge mobility and intense fluorescence. The fibers were grown on various types of surfaces either as superhelices or straight rods depending on molecular structure. Helical fibers directly grown on a field effect transistor displayed efficient charge mobility and intrinsic 'memory effect'. Despite the fact that the oligomers did not have chirality centers, one type of hand-helicity was always predominant in helical fibers, due to the interplay of molecular atropisomerism and supramolecular helicity induced by terminal substituents. Finally, we found that the new sulfur overrich oligothiophenes can easily be prepared in high yields through ultrasound and microwave assistance in green conditions.  相似文献

New types of tetrameric lignin model compounds, which contain the common β-O-4 and β-1 structural subunits found in natural lignins, have been prepared and carbon-carbon bond fragmentation reactions of their cation radicals, formed by photochemical (9,10-dicyanoanthracene) and enzymatic (lignin peroxidase) SET-promoted methods, have been explored. The results show that cation radical intermediates generated from the tetrameric model compounds undergo highly regioselective C-C bond cleavage in their β-1 subunits. The outcomes of these processes suggest that, independent of positive charge and odd-electron distributions, cation radicals of lignins formed by SET to excited states of sensitizers or heme-iron centers in enzymes degrade selectively through bond cleavage reactions in β-1 vs β-O-4 moieties. In addition, the findings made in the enzymatic studies demonstrate that the sterically large tetrameric lignin model compounds undergo lignin peroxidase-catalyzed cleavage via a mechanism involving preliminary formation of an enzyme-substrate complex.  相似文献

A new in situ electrochemical method of functionalizing an oxide-free Ni surface is demonstrated using octanethiol. Initial adsorption results in a multilayer molecular film, which blocks both the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and re-oxidation of the Ni by ambient oxygen. However, excess octanethiol can be removed by rinsing with ethanol, leaving behind a monolayer that continues to protect against re-oxidation but gives rise to an unexpected enhancement in the HER, with a greater enhancement for longer film formation times. The presence of an octanethiol monolayer on the surface was confirmed by spectroscopic observation of the CH(2), CH(3) and thiolate groups using infra red spectroscopy, while X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy demonstrated the effectiveness of the thiol layer as a barrier to surface oxidation. The electrochemically prepared octanethiol film impedes oxidation of the Ni in air more effectively than a film formed by immersion in a solution of octanethiol in ethanol.  相似文献

In the title racemic hemihydrated solvatomorph of carvedilol (carv), C24H26N2O4·0.5H2O, the asymmetric unit contains two independent organic moieties and one water molecule. Within this 2(carv)·H2O unit, the molecular components are strongly linked by hydrogen bonds and the unit acts as the basic building block for the crystal structure. Interactions parallel to (10) generate hydrogen‐bonded layers which are further linked by much weaker C—H...N/O interactions. The conformations of the organic molecules, as well as the hydrogen‐bonding interactions connecting them, are compared with other related structures in the literature.  相似文献
