Hydrogallation of Me3Si–C≡C–NR'2 with R2Ga–H (R = tBu, CH2tBu, iBu) yielded Ga/N‐based active Lewis pairs, R2Ga–C(SiMe3)=C(H)–NR'2 ( 7 ). The Ga and N atoms adopt cis‐positions at the C=C bonds and show weak Ga–N interactions. tBu2GaH and Me3Si–C≡C–N(C2H4)2NMe afforded under exposure of daylight the trifunctional digallium(II) compound [MeN(C2H4)2N](H)C=C(SiMe3)Ga(tBu)–Ga(tBu)C(SiMe3)=C(H)[N(C2H4)2NMe] ( 8 ), which results from elimination of isobutene and H2 and Ga–Ga bond formation. 8 was selectively obtained from the ynamine and [tBu(H)Ga–Ga(H)tBu]2[HGatBu2]2. 7a (R = tBu; NR'2 = 2,6‐Me2NC5H8) and H8C4N–C≡N afforded the adduct tBu2Ga‐C(SiMe3)=C(H)(2,6‐Me2NC5H8) · N≡C–NC4H8 ( 11 ) with the nitrile bound to gallium. The analogous ALP with harder Al atoms yielded an adduct of the nitrile dimer or oligomers of the nitrile at room temperature. The reaction of 7a with Ph–N=C=O led to the insertion of two NCO groups into the Ga–Cvinyl bond to yield a GaOCNCN heterocycle with Ga bound to O and N atoms ( 12 ). 相似文献

Anionic surfactant monomers have a large catalytic effect on the dissociation rate constant of a Ru2(4+)-DNA complex, an effect further enhanced upon exceeding the critical micelle concentration. Electrostatic estimates are made of this effect, the effect of salt and temperature on the binding constant, and of the binding constant itself. The effects are compared with the experiment, and the calculated salt effect on the binding constant is compared with condensation theory. The results indicate that the catalytic effect is primarily nonelectrostatic (hydrophobic) in nature. 相似文献

Light-induced diffusion-controlled electron transfer is proposed as an underlying mechanism for the intermittency (power law and breakdown) of a single quantum dot and ensemble-averaged fluorescence decay. The intensity decay can be approximated to a stretched exponential expression. The physical links to the free energy gap, reorganization energy, electronic coupling, and diffusion correlation times are discussed. A procedure is described for extracting these molecular-based parameters from experiments and is demonstrated with examples using existing data. 相似文献

A stabilization of the liquid-crystalline mesophase and thus an enlarged temperature range of the mesogenic phase is achieved by adding perfluorotriphenylene to a chiral liquid-crystalline triphenylene. This mesophase is based on 1:1 perfluoroarene–arene interactions (see picture). Microwave-assisted acid hydrolysis of proteins combined with liquid chromatography MALDI MS/MS for protein identification 总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
Simple and efficient digestion of proteins, particularly hydrophobic membrane proteins, is of significance for comprehensive proteome analysis using the bottom-up approach. We report a microwave-assisted acid hydrolysis (MAAH) method for rapid protein degradation for peptide mass mapping and tandem mass spectrometric analysis of peptides for protein identification. It uses 25% trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) aqueous solution to dissolve or suspend proteins, followed by microwave irradiation for 10 min. This detergent-free method generates peptide mixtures that can be directly analyzed by liquid chromatography (LC) matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry (MS) without the need of extensive sample cleanup. LC-MALDI MS/MS analysis of the hydrolysate from 5 microg of a model transmembrane protein, bacteriorhodopsin, resulted in almost complete sequence coverage by the peptides detected, including the identification of two posttranslational modification sites. Cleavage of peptide bonds inside all seven transmembrane domains took place, generating peptides of sizes amenable to MS/MS to determine possible sequence errors or modifications within these domains. Cleavage specificity, such as glycine residue cleavage, was observed. Terminal peptides were found to be present in relatively high abundance in the hydrolysate, particularly when low concentrations of proteins were used for MAAH. It was shown that these peptides could still be detected from MAAH of bacteriorhodopsin at a protein concentration of 1 ng/microl or 37 fmol/microl. To evaluate the general applicability of this method, it was applied to identify proteins from a membrane protein enriched fraction of cell lysates of human breast cancer cell line MCF7. With one-dimensional LC-MALDI MS/MS, a total of 119 proteins, including 41 membrane-associated or membrane proteins containing one to 12 transmembrane domains, were identified by MS/MS database searching based on matches of at least two peptides to a protein. 相似文献

The crystal structures of [Pr(dbm)3H2O] (1), [Sm(dbm)3H2O] (2), and [Er(dbm)3H2O] (3) have been determined (dbm=dibenzoylmethane). They display seven-coordinate propeller-shaped molecules, which are chiral and crystallize as conglomerates in space group R3. Analysis of the crystal structures reveals supramolecular interactions, including formation of a quadruple helix, which explain how stereochemical information can be transferred between stacks of molecules. A method to quantify the ee in bulk samples of stereochemically labile compounds by using solid-state CD spectroscopy is described. Using this method, it has been shown that compounds 1-3 undergo total spontaneous resolution directly after synthesis, forming a microcrystalline reaction product that is essentially enantiopure. The resolution of bulk quantities of seven-coordinate complexes (without chiral or polydentate ligands) is thus reported for the first time. Because the crystallization starts without seeding, the overall preparation may be regarded as absolute asymmetric synthesis. 相似文献

Information on the accuracy of DFT functionals for redox reactions in transition metal systems is rather limited. To analyze the performance of some popular functionals for redox reactions in manganese systems, calculated O--H bond dissociation enthalpies for Mn-ligands in six different complexes are compared to experimental results. In this benchmark, B3LYP performs well with a mean absolute error of 3.0 kcal/mol. B98 gives similar results to B3LYP (error of 3.8 kcal/mol). B3LYP* gives lower O--H bond strengths than B3LYP and has a mean error of 5.0 kcal/mol. Compared to B98 and B3LYP, B3LYP* has an error trend for the manganese ligands that is more similar to the error for a free water molecule. The nonhybrid functional BLYP consistently and significantly underestimates the O--H bond strengths by approximately 20 kcal/mol. HCTH407 has a rather large mean error of 9.4 kcal/mol and shows no consistent trend. The results support the use of hybrid functionals and the present computational method for large model systems containing manganese. An example is the oxygen evolving complex in photosystem II where hybrid functionals predict the appearance of a Mn(IV)-oxyl radical before the O--O bond formation step. 相似文献

Adhesion of bacterial strains on solid substrates is likely related to the properties of the outer shell of the micro-organisms. Aiming at a better understanding and control of the biofilm formation in seawater, the surface chemical composition of three marine bacterial strains was investigated by combining Fourier transform IR spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and time-of-flight secondary-ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS). The D41 strain surface showed evidence of proteins, as deduced from the NH2 and NCO XPS and ToF-SIMS fingerprints; this strain was found to adhere to stainless steel, glass, or Teflon surfaces in a much higher quantity (2 orders of magnitude) than the two other ones, DA and D01. The latter are either enriched in COOH or sulfates, and this makes them more hydrophilic and less adherent to all substrates. Correlations with physicochemical properties and adhesion seem to demonstrate the role of the external layer composition, in particular the role of proteins more than that of hydrophobicity, on their adhesion abilities. 相似文献
