A procedure for the determination of ammonium is described, based on its transformation into ammonia gas and subsequent measurement by UV-visible molecular absorption spectrometry at 194 nm. Two different procedures for generating the ammonia are proposed, using NaOH solution and solid NaOH, respectively. After generation conditions for both procedures had been optimized, better sensitivity was observed with solid NaOH. In these conditions, the method showed two ranges of linear response: from 1 to 100 g and from 100 to 400 g of ammonium. Finally, we determined ammonium in wine samples. Preliminary studies indicated that the only observable interfering species was ethanol, which could be eliminated by subjecting the sample to vacuum evaporation until nearly dry. This process also increased the sensitivity of the method by as much as ten times. The values obtained from three different wine samples yielded results within the range of the concentration obtained by other authors. The recovery of ammonium added to the wine samples was around 95%.  相似文献

Optimization of coupling reactions of glycosylamines with Fmoc-protected aspartic acid, by microwave approach, is described. Different reaction conditions, quantities of substrates and solvents were tested to develop simple and reproducible methodologies. The best results were obtained using new triazine-based coupling reagents with a monomode microwave Discover® BenchMate™ instrument (CEM). The N-glycosyl amino acids were then deprotected to achieve final products for SPPS.  相似文献

A stereoselective synthesis for the (5Z,9Z)-14-methyl-5,9-pentadecadienoic acid and the monounsaturated analog (Z)-14-methyl-9-pentadecenoic acid was accomplished in six to seven steps where double alkyne coupling was the key step. A new method for the fluorometric determination of zearalenone (ZEN) based on its reaction with βNADH in the presence of the enzyme 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3α-HSD) is described. The procedure is based on the change in fluorescence intensity that takes place during the enzymatic reaction (excitation at 340 nm and emission at 454 nm). The optimum reaction conditions and the analytical characteristics were studied; linear response range (1-10 mg l−1) and reproducibility (8 mg l−1, 2.7%, n=7). Moreover, a mathematical model explaining the analytical signal is proposed. The method has been applied to zearalenone determination in a spiked corn sample.  相似文献

The intrinsic reactivity of eight gaseous, mass-selected 2-azabutadienyl cations toward polar [4(+) + 2] cycloaddition with ethyl vinyl ether has been investigated by pentaquadrupole mass spectrometric experiments. Cycloaddition occurs readily for all the ions and, with the only exception of those from the N-acyl 2-azabutadienyl cations (N-acyliminium ions), the cycloadducts are found to dissociate readily upon collision activation (CID) both by retro-Diels-Alder reaction and by a characteristic loss of an ethanol (46u) neutral molecule. Ethanol loss from the intact polar [4(+) + 2] cycloadduct functions therefore as a structurally diagnostic test: 72 u neutral gain followed by 46 u neutral loss, i.e., as a combined ion-molecule reaction plus CID 'signature' for N-H, N-alkyl and N-aryl 2-azabutadienyl cations. The two N-acyliminium ions tested are exceptional as they form intact cycloadducts with ethyl vinyl ether which dissociate exclusively by the retro-Diels-Alder pathway.  相似文献

A general method based solely on mass spectrometric techniques for the absolute configuration assignment of ortho, meta, or para isomers of acyl nitrobenzenes and derivatives is described. Instead of comparing the mass spectra of the three intact molecules of each positional isomer and investigating each one of the many sets of positional isomers, the method generalizes the effort by performing structural analysis on configurationally diagnostic fragment ions that are common for a given class of compounds. These ions must therefore retain the positional information of the parent molecules and be unequivocally distinguished. Nitrobenzoyl cations are common and stable fragment ions of most acyl nitrobenzenes and derivatives retaining the respective ortho, meta, or para configuration of the precursor molecules. The different NO2 and CO+ ring alignments profoundly influence their collision-induced dissociation and bimolecular reactivity, and the isomeric 2-, 3-, and 4-nitrobenzoyl cations are found to be unequivocally distinguished using both approaches. Absolute ortho, meta, or para positional assignment by tandem MS of every isomeric molecule of the acyl nitrobenzene class and derivatives forming detectable amounts of any of those diagnostic nitrobenzoyl cations is, therefore, possible. The ability to perform absolute (non-comparative) configuration assignment using such diagnostic ions is exemplified for a single test molecule of (2R)-(−)-2-methylglycidyl 4-nitrobenzoate. The general application of this absolute MS-only method for other classes of positional isomers is discussed.  相似文献

Interfacial interactions control two processes empirically known to be critical for molecular anchoring in twisted nematic liquid crystal displays technology (TN-LCDs): surface treatment and filling procedure. Static and dynamical interfacial tensions (Gamma(SL)) between liquids and several substrates with similar roughness were observed respectively by contact angle (theta(c)) of sessile drops and by fluorescence depolarization of thin liquid films flowing at high velocity. Gamma(SL) decreased when glass was coated with tin dioxide and increased with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) deposition. Drops were circular for all substrates except rubbed PVA, where they flowed spontaneously along the rubbing direction, reaching an oblong form that had theta(c) parallel and perpendicular to the rubbing direction respectively greater and smaller than theta(c) for non-rubbed PVA. This is attributed to polar group alignment generating an asymmetric Gamma(SL) distribution with nanometric preferential direction, inducing a capillary-like flow. Polarization and anisotropy maps for high-velocity flow parallel to the PVA rubbing direction showed an increase in the net alignment of molecular domains and a widening of the region where it occurred. This is attributed to preferential anchoring in the downstream direction, instead of in several directions, as for non-rubbed PVA. This explains why filling direction is crucial for TN-LCDs homogeneous behavior.  相似文献

A procedure is given for the determination of methylcyclopentadienylmanganese tricarbonyl (MMT) at ng m-3 concentrations in air. The method involves trapping of MMT in a small segment of gas chromatographic column and then determination by gas chromatography with an electrothermal atomic absorption detector. The detection limit of the procedure is 0.05 ng m-3. Air samples from an underground car-park (when MMT was detected) were found to contain between 0.1 and 0.3 ng m-3 MMT. MMT was not detected in any of the street air samples taken.  相似文献

From previous results with lower homologues, dehydroiodination of the three alkenyl-beta-enamino esters 3a-c was expected to provide six-membered N-heterocyclic products. The reactions of 3a-c with triethylamine are found to lead, however, to the unexpected stereoselective synthesis of the trisubstituted cyclopentane derivatives 4a-c, as confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy. Cyclopentanes 4a-c bear two chiral centers and a gamma-amino ester moiety, and are therefore conformationally restricted analogues of gamma-amino butyric acid (GABA), which is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Use of electrospray ionization mass (ESI-MS) and tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) allowed the key iminium ion intermediates 5a-c(+), as well as the protonated molecules of both the reactant and final products, [3a-c + H](+) and [4a-c + H](+), to be intercepted and structurally characterized. From these findings a mechanism for this unexpected but synthetically attractive and efficient stereoselective reaction is proposed.  相似文献
