The ultrafiltration preconcentration of Cd2+ using micellar extraction with 8-hydroxyquinoline (8-HQ), solubilized in anionic micelles of sodium dodecylsulphate (SDS)) were studied. The n-butanol was used as a co-surfactant. Ultrafiltration yields (R, %) on cellulose acetate membranes (wet, 20000 MW-CO) under 400 kPa pressure were determined. Distribution ratios (D) of cadmium between bulk liquid phase and micellar pseudophase were estimated. The constants (app.) for the cadmium-sodium exchange on SDS micelles surface at pH values of 4.8 and 5.3 (3.36 and 3.86, respectively) were determined. It was found, that the values of ultrafiltration yields of the cadmium (at constant concentration of 8-HQ) are influenced not only by the pH and by the concentration values, but also by the ratio of the concentrations of the metal and the anionic surfactant.  相似文献

The structures of the stable conformers of N-methyjpropionamide and N-methyliso-butyroamide in CCl4, solution were determined by a combination of IR spectroscopy and NMR spectroscopy with lanthanide shift reagents. N-methyl-propionamide was found to exist in the form of two rotational isomers, 1 and 2, with the ethyl group twisted out of the plane of the amide bond by the angles Ψ = 140 and 20°, respectively. For these two conformers, the enthalpy difference is ΔH = 2.13 ± 0.08 kcal mole?1 and the entropy difference ΔS = 7.81 ± 0.55 cal mole?1 grad?1. N-methylisobutyroamide exists in a single form, with the two C-methyl group positions very close to those found in the two isomers of N-methylpropionamide.  相似文献

A convenient method has been developed for the synthesis of all mono- and di-O-benzyl ethers of methyl α-L-rhamnopyranoside applying a new stereoselective method for the hydrogenolytic ring-cleavage of benzylidene acetals. Using the prepared dibenzyl ethers as aglycones, the (1→2)-, (1→3)- and (l→4)-linked rhamnosyl-rhamnose derivatives (1315) were synthesised. Hydrogenolysis of the latter compounds and subsequent acetylation gave the pentaacetates (1618) of methyl dirhamnosides, which on saponification furnished the free methyl dirhamnosides (1921). Acetolysis of 1618 gave the corresponding dirhamnose-hexaacetates which were transformed into the three disaccharides by saponification. The structure of each product was investigated by 13C-NMR spectroscopy, and for the purpose of 13C-NMR studies the mono-O-methyl ethers of methyl α-L-rhamnopyranoside, the diacetates and di-O-benzyl ethers of the latter compounds, and, also the diacetates of methyl α-L-rhamnopyranoside were synthesised.It has been established that, for 13C-NMR investigations of oligosaccharides, the benzyl ethers of monosaccharides are more suitable model compounds than the currently used monosaccharide methyl ethers.  相似文献

Two different rehydration procedures in the liquid or gas phase have been applied to reconstruct mixed oxides derived from calcined hydrotalcite-like materials to be used as catalysts for aldol condensation reactions. The as-synthesized hydrotalcite, its decomposition product, as well as the reconstructed solids upon rehydration were characterized by XRD, N(2) adsorption, He pycnometry, FTIR, SEM, TEM, (27)Al MAS-NMR and CO(2)-TPD (TPD=temperature-programmed desorption). Compared to the Mg-Al mixed oxide rehydrated in the gas phase (HT-rg), that rehydrated in the liquid phase (HT-rl) exhibits a superior catalytic performance with respect to the aldol condensation of citral with ketones to yield pseudoionones and in the self-aldolization of acetone. The textural properties of HT-rl and HT-rg differ strongly and determine the catalytic behavior. A memory effect led to a higher degree of reconstruction of the lamellar structure when the mixed oxide was rehydrated in the gas phase rather than in the liquid phase, although liquid-phase rehydration under fast stirring produced a surface area that was 26 times greater. This contrasts to typical statements in the literature claiming a higher degree of reconstruction in the presence of large amounts of water in the medium. CO(2)-TPD shows that the number of OH(-) groups and their nature are very similar in HT-rg and HT-rl, and cannot explain the markedly different catalytic behavior. Accordingly, only a small fraction of the available basic sites in the rehydrated samples is active in liquid-phase aldol condensations. Our results support the model in which only basic sites near the edges of the hydrotalcite platelets are partaking in aldol reactions. Based on this, reconstructed materials with small crystallites (produced by exfoliation during mechanical stirring), that is, possessing a high external surface area, are beneficial in the reactions compared to larger crystals with a high degree of intraplatelet porosity.  相似文献

Eight meso-aryl calixphyrin derivatives were synthesized and their conformational equilibria and transitions studied with temperature-dependent NMR spectroscopy. On the basis of density functional computations, several conformer species could be identified and observed changes in chemical shifts explained. In some compounds, the aryl group rotation and porphyrin ring flipping could be monitored independently, as their NMR coalescence temperatures were well-separated. Calculated relative conformer energies, transition barriers, and isotropic shieldings agree well with the experimental data. In the meso-substituted porhyrins (calixphyrins) the sp3 carbon atoms perturb their pi-electron system and significantly modify the molecular shape and the flexibility. Even when the conjugation of the pi-electron system was destroyed by the nonplanarity, far-range electronic induction effects still exist and influence chemical shielding and molecular geometry. The aryl functional groups moderately modify the structure of the calixphyrin ring and thus can be used for fine-tuning of the mechanical and chemical properties of these compounds.  相似文献

This article reports the synthesis and the properties of 5,11,17,23-tetra(t-butyl)-25,27-bis-(ethoxy-1,8-naphthalimide)-26,28-hidroxy-calix[4]arene and the formation of an inclusion compound in organic medium. This functionalized calix[4]arene was conceived as the association of a potential host species with a good fluorophore for optical sensoring purposes. Calix[4]-NI as we will call it, maintains its ‘cone-pinched’ configuration and exhibits typical naphthalimide fluorescence bands in non-polar solvents. Its ability to interact with guest species via hydrogen bonding in its endo-hydrophilic cavity to form inclusion compounds was verified with absorption and fluorescence measurements using N-ethanol-1,8-naphthalimide as guest species, which was projected to fit exactly the host cavity and to interact with its naphthalimide π electrons. For this reason, it was possible to follow the formation of the inclusion compound with electronic spectroscopy.  相似文献

We report an experimental study of the rotovibrational fundamental PQR-band shapes in the IR absorption spectra of HCl dissolved in condensed rare gases in a wide range of temperatures. The effective vibrational frequencies are determined from analysis of the fine rotational structure partially resolved in the band wings. The central Q-branch components appear redshifted with respect to the effective vibrational frequencies, their shifts in different solvents found to match the HCl stretching mode shifts in binary Rg...HCl van der Waals heterodimers. Theoretical quasi-free rotor and modified rotor models are applied to describe evolution of the band profiles at changing thermodynamic conditions. Both models are shown to reproduce equally well the observed spectral density distributions in the band wings. However, the modified rotor formalism that accounts for depopulation of the lower-energy rotational solute states provides better agreement with the experiment in the range of the P- and R-branch maxima. We surmise that the Q branches separated from the measured spectral profiles are formed by transitions between rotationally hindered states of diatomic molecules coupled to the solvent by the local anisotropy of the interaction potential.  相似文献

In this work, kinetic data of crystallization processes have been determined by measurement of the intensities of reflection of X-ray diffraction spectra and modeled using the Avrami-Eroféev and Jander expressions. We have created a simple Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that allows students to calculate the kinetic data. Students will be able to calculate the kinetic parameters of any crystallization process, for example, hydrothermal crystallization of catalytic materials like zeolites. The possibility of using the spreadsheet with different models or expressions and discriminating among them is also validated by comparing the model results with experimental data (differential thermal analyses, DTA) from papers available in the recent literature.  相似文献

In this work, the nonionic surfactant polyoxyethylene-10-lauryl ether has been used for the extraction and preconcentration of 14 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, classified as priority pollutants by the US Environmental Protection Agency, from seawater samples. The cloud-point preconcentration previous separation by HPLC and quantification using fluorimetric detection and wavelength programming allow to determine these pollutants with detection limits ranging from 1.0 to 1.5 x 10(2) ng/l with RSDs better than 10.4%. The methodology is evaluated using well-established extraction and preconcentration methods and GC-MS.  相似文献
