We develop a theoretical model to describe the radio-frequency (rf) induced coupling of a pair of colliding atoms to a Feshbach molecule when a magnetic field arbitrarily far from the Feshbach resonance is modulated in time. We use the dressed atom picture, and show that the coupling strength in presence of rf is equal to the Feshbach coupling strength multiplied by the square of a Bessel function. The argument of this function is equal to the ratio of the atomic rf Rabi frequency to the rf frequency. We experimentally demonstrate this law by measuring the rate of rf-association of molecules using a Feshbach resonance in d wave collisions between ultra-cold chromium atoms.  相似文献

In this article, the synthesis of two amphiphilic polyaspartamide copolymers, useful to obtain polymeric nanoparticles without using surfactants or stabilizing agents, is described. These copolymers were obtained starting from α,β-poly-(N-2-hydroxyethyl)-dl-aspartamide (PHEA) by following a novel synthetic strategy. In particular, PHEA and its pegylated derivative (PHEA-PEG2000) were functionalized with poly(lactic acid) (PLA) through 1,1′-carbonyldiimidazole (CDI) activation to obtain PHEA–PLA and PHEA-PEG2000–PLA graft copolymers, respectively. These copolymers were properly purified and characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, and Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC) analyses, which confirmed that derivatization reactions occurred. Nanoparticles were obtained from PHEA–PLA and PHEA-PEG2000–PLA graft copolymers by using the high pressure homogenization-solvent evaporation method, avoiding the use of surfactants or stabilizing agents. Polymeric nanoparticles were characterized by dimensional analysis, before and after freeze-drying process, and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Zeta potential measurements and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) analysis demonstrated the presence of PEG and/or PHEA onto the PHEA-PEG2000–PLA and PHEA–PLA nanoparticle surface, respectively.  相似文献

The morphogenesis of the sexual phase of seven species of Thelypteris subg. Cyclosorus (Thelypteridaceae) is described and compared. Spores of all species are monolete, ellipsoid and have positive photoblastism. They have Vittaria-type germination, germinal filaments are short and uniseriate, and Aspidium-type development. Adult gametophytes are spatulate-cordiform, and have wide wings with numerous glandular, marginal and superficial hairs. Antheridia have a narrow or widened basal cell, an undivided annular cell, and an opercular cell; antherozoids are liberated through three mechanisms. Archegonia have short necks and four triangular cells on the neck's mouth. The sporophyte's first leaf is lobed, with open dichotomous veins, glandular hairs similar to those of the gametophyte, and anomocytic stomata. Differences observed between the studied species are: spore size; ornamentation of the perispore; germination and emergence periods; size of hairs; developmental period of gametangia; and antherozoid liberation mechanisms through total detachment of the operculum, partial detachment of the operculum, and development of an apical pore through tearing of the operculum. These taxonomically valuable characters, combined with the sporophyte characteristics, can be useful tools in the identification of the species studied to the subg. Cyclosorus.  相似文献

The reactivity of amidinatotetrylenes of the type E(tBu2bzm)R1 (E=Si, Ge; tBu2bzm=N,N′-bis(tertbutyl)benzamidinate; R1=alkyl or aryl) with the chromium Fischer alkynylcarbene complexes [Cr{C(OEt)C2R2}(CO)5] (R2=Ph; ferrocenyl, Fc) has been studied. At room temperature, two different reaction pathways have been identified: (a) attack of the amidinatotetrylene to the alkynyl C2 atom (γ-attack), which leads to σ-allenyl complexes in which the original Ccarbene atom maintains its attachment to the Cr(CO)5 and OEt groups (compounds 3 ), and (b) attack of the amidinatotetrylene to the Ccarbene atom (α-attack), which ends in σ-allenyl complexes in which the original Ccarbene atom is not attached to the metal atom and has been inserted into an E−N bond of the amidinatotetrylene forming an E-C-N-C-N five-membered ring (compounds 4 ). It has been found that compounds 3 are thermodynamically less stable than their corresponding 4 isomers and that some of the former (E=Ge; R1=CH2SiMe3) can be transformed into the latter upon heating. At high temperatures (>70 °C) the reactions involving bulky amidinatotetrylenes (R1=Mes, tBu) end in the carbene-substitution products [Cr{E(tBu2bzm)R1}(CO)5].  相似文献

The structure and stability of adenine crystals and thin layers has been studied by using scanning tunneling microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, and density functional theory calculations. We have found that adenine crystals can be grown in two phases that are energetically quasi‐degenerate, the structure of which can be described as a pile‐up of 2D adenine planes. In each plane, the structure can be described as an aggregation of adenine dimers. Under certain conditions, kinetic effects can favor the growth of the less stable phase. These results have been used to understand the growth of adenine thin films on gold under ultra‐high vacuum conditions. We have found that the grown phase corresponds to the α‐phase, which is composed of stacked prochiral planes. In this way, the adenine nanocrystals exhibit a surface that is enantiopure. These results could open new insight into the applications of adenine in biological, medical, and enantioselective or pharmaceutical fields.  相似文献

Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) hydrogels are extensively used as scaffolds in tissue engineering. The ability to spatially control hydrogel properties is critical for designing scaffolds that direct cell behavior and tissue regeneration. To this end, we have recently developed a polymerization technique, perfusion‐based frontal photopolymerization, to generate tunable gradients in PEG hydrogels. This study explores the effects of polymerization conditions on the velocity of the propagating front and its influence on gradients in hydrogel swelling. Alterations in photoinitiator perfusion rate result in the largest variations in frontal velocity and in the magnitude of the swelling gradient among all polymerization conditions investigated.
