Considerable efforts have been made to utilize agricultural and forest residues as biomass feedstock for the production of second-generation bioethanol as an alternative fuel. Fermentation utilizing strains of Zymomonas mobilis and the use of simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF) process has been proposed. Statistical experimental design was used to optimize the conditions of SSF, evaluating solid content, enzymatic load, and cell concentration. The optimum conditions were found to be solid content (30%), enzymatic load (25 filter paper units/g), and cell concentration (4 g/L), resulting in a maximum ethanol concentration of 60 g/L and a volumetric productivity of 1.5 g L?1?h?1.  相似文献

应用化学交联法将巴西日圆线虫乙酰胆碱酯酶(AChE)固定于多壁碳纳米管修饰的玻碳电极表面,制备用于有机磷农药检测的电化学生物传感器.研究了巯基胆碱(TCh)在该修饰电极上的电化学行为.优化实验条件得出,响应电流与马拉硫磷的浓度在6.0×10-10~6.0×10-9mol.L-1范围内呈良好的线性关系,检出限为1.0×10-10mol.L-1.测定了湖水中马拉硫磷的含量,回收率为97%~105%.  相似文献

Although the specific profiling of endogenous glycopeptides in serum is highly inclined towards the discovery of disease biomarkers, studies on the endogenous glycopeptides (glycopeptidome) have never been conducted because of several factors. These factors include the high dynamic range of serum proteins, the inadequacy of traditional sample preparation techniques in proteomics for low-molecular-weight (LMW) proteins, and the relatively low abundances of glycopeptides. Boronic acid-functionalized mesoporous silica was synthesized in this study to overcome the limitations of the state-of-the-art methods for glycopeptidome research. The boronic acid-functionalized mesoporous silica exhibited excellent selectivity by analyzing glycopeptides in the mixture of glycopeptides/non-glycopeptides at molar ratio of 1:100, extreme sensitivity (the limit of detection was at the fmol level), good binding capacity (40 mg g−1), as well as the high post-enrichment recovery of glycopeptides (up to 88.10%). The as-prepared material possessing both glycopeptide-suitable pore size and glycopeptide-specific selectivity has shown special capability for enriching the endogenous glycopeptides. Fifteen unique glycosylation sites mapped to 15 different endogenous glycopeptides were identified in rat serum. The established protocol revealed for the first time the rat serum glycopeptidome.  相似文献

In order to improve the transmission efficiency of optical-fiber communication system with 10 Gb/s + 40 Gb/s, an all-fiber interleaver with unequal passband is proposed and discussed, which is based on a two-stage cascaded Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI). The optimum value of structural parameters, such as splitting ratios of the couplers and the physical length differences of the interferometer arms, were chosen. One set of optimized data is validated in the experimental result. The experimental results and the theoretic analysis indicate that an all-fiber optical interleaver with 3 dB passband width in odd channels and even channels could be obtained, which having more than 60 GHz passband and 30 GHz passband, for transmission speed of 40 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s, respectively. By assigning different portions of spectrum to the 10 Gb/s and the 40 Gb/s channels, the bandwidth efficiency requirement of the 40 Gb/s channel is relieved, and therefore longer transmission distance can be achieved.  相似文献

Various properties of typical structures of water clusters in the n = 2–34 size regime with the change of cluster size have been systematically explored. Full optimizations are carried out for the structures presented in this article at the Hartree–Fock (HF) level using the 6‐31G(d) basis set by taking into account the positions of all atoms within the cluster. The influence of the HF level on the results has been reflected by the comparison between the binding energies of (H2O)n (n = 2–6, 8, 11, 13, 20) calculated at the HF level and those obtained from high‐level ab initio calculations at the second‐order Møller–Plesset (MP2) perturbation theory and the coupled cluster method including singles and doubles with perturbative triples (CCSD(T)) levels. HF is inaccurate when compared with MP2 and CCSD(T), but it is more practical and allows us to study larger systems. The computed properties characterizing water clusters (H2O)n (n = 2–34) include optimal structures, structural parameters, binding energies, hydrogen bonds, charge distributions, dipole moments, and so on. When the cluster size increases, trends of the above various properties have been presented to provide important reference for understanding and describing the nature of the hydrogen bond. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A novel well‐defined amphiphilic block copolymer, with the polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) moiety at the junction of the two blocks of polystyrene and poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), was designed and synthesized. First, a macroinitiator containing a POSS moiety and a PEO chain was prepared and then atom transfer radical polymerization of styrene was carried out in the presence of the macroinitiator in bulk. The polymerization results show that the process bears the characteristics of controlled/living free radical polymerizations. The structure and molecular weight of the polymers were characterized by GPC, 1H NMR, and FT‐IR spectroscopy. The self‐assembly behaviors of the polymers was investigated by TEM and SEM. It was observed that the polymers can self‐assemble into vesicles in aqueous solution.

A family of monodisperse YF3, YF3:Ce3+ and YF3:Ce3+/Ln3+ (Ln=Tb, Eu) mesocrystals with a morphology of a hollow spindle can be synthesized by a solvothermal process using yttrium nitrate and NH4F as precursors. The effects of reaction time, fluorine source, solvents, and reaction temperature on the synthesis of these mesocrystals have been studied in detail. The results demonstrate that the formation of a hollow spindle‐like YF3 can be ascribed to a nonclassical crystallization process by means of a particle‐based reaction route in ethanol. It has been shown that the fluorine sources selected have a remarkable effect on the morphologies and crystalline phases of the final products. Moreover, the luminescent properties of Ln3+‐doped and Ce3+/Ln3+‐co‐doped spindle‐like YF3 mesocrystals were also investigated. It turns out that Ce3+ is an efficient sensitizer for Ln3+ in the spindle‐like YF3 mesocrystals. Remarkable fluorescence enhancement was observed in Ce3+/Ln3+‐co‐doped YF3 mesocrystals. The mechanism of the energy transfer and electronic transition between Ce3+ and Ln3+ in the host material of YF3 mesocrystals was also explored. The cytotoxicity study revealed that these YF3‐based nanocrystals are biocompatible for applications, such as cellular imaging.  相似文献

A tetracycline hydrochloride (TC) molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) modified TiO2 nanotube array electrode was prepared via surface molecular imprinting. Its surface was structured with surface voids and the nanotubes were open at top end with an average diameter of approximately 50 nm. The MIP-modified TiO2 nanotube array with anatase phase was identified by XRD and a distinguishable red shift in the absorption spectrum was observed. The MIP-modified electrode also exhibited a high adsorption capacity for TC due to its high surface area providing imprinted sites. Photocurrent was generated on the MIP-modified photoanode using the simulated solar spectrum and increased with the increase of positive bias potential. Under simulated solar light irradiation, the MIP-modified TiO2 nanotube array electrode exhibited enhanced photoelectrocatalytic (PEC) activity with the apparent first-order rate constant being 1.2-fold of that with TiO2 nanotube array electrode. The effect of the thickness of the MIP layer on the PEC activity was also evaluated.  相似文献
