Think zinc: Synthetically relevant zinc(II) carbenes are catalytically generated from alkynes. This new approach allows zinc-catalyzed cyclopropanation and Si?H bond insertion reactions to generate the corresponding cyclopropylfurans or silane derivatives. In recent years, materials science has propelled to the research forefront. Ionic liquids with unique and fascinating properties have also left their footprints to the developments of materials science during the last years. In this review we highlight some of their recent advances and provide an overview at the current status of ionic liquid-modified materials applied in solid-phase extraction, liquid and gas chromatography and capillary electrochromatography with reference to recent applications. In addition, the potential of ionic liquids in the modification of capillary inner wall in capillary electrophoresis is demonstrated. The main target material modified with ionic liquids is silica, but polymers and monoliths have recently joined the studies. Although imidazolium is still clearly the most commonly used ionic liquid for the covalently modification of materials, the exploitation of pyridinium and phosphonium will most probably increase in the future.  相似文献

The complex species formed between vanadium(III)?C2,2??-bipyridine (Bipy) and the small blood serum bioligands lactic (HLac), oxalic (H2Ox), citric (H3Cit) and phosphoric (H3PO4) acids were studied in aqueous solution by means of electromotive forces measurements emf(H) at 25?°C and 3.0?mol?dm?3 KCl as the ionic medium. The data were analyzed using the least-squares computational program LETAGROP, taking into account the hydrolytic products of vanadium(III) and the binary complexes formed. Formation of the complexes [V(Bipy)(Lac)]2+, [V(Bipy)(Lac)2]+, [V(OH)2(Bipy)(Lac)] and [V2O(Bipy)2(Lac)2]? were observed in the vanadium(III)?CBipy?CHLac system. Also, the species [V(Bipy)(HOx)]2+, [V(Bipy)(Ox)]+, [V(OH)(Bipy)(Ox)], [V(OH)2(Bipy)(Ox)]? and [V(OH)3(Bipy)(Ox)]2? were found in the vanadium(III)?CBipy?CH2Ox system, the complexes [V(Bipy)(HCit)]+, [V(Bipy)(Cit)], [V(OH)(Bipy)(Cit)]? and [V(OH)2(Bipy)(Cit)]2? were found in the vanadium(III)?CBipy?CH3Cit system, and the species [V(Bipy)(H2PO4)]2+ and [V(Bipy)(HPO4)]+ were detected in the vanadium(III)?CBipy?CH3PO4 system. Weakly bound 1:1 complexes formed between CS2 and a dihalogen molecule XY = Cl2, Br2, BrCl, ICl, or IBr have each been trapped in an Ar matrix and hence investigated experimentally by their IR spectra as well as theoretically by MP2 and density functional calculations. A planar structure, with an intermolecular angle close to 90 degrees , is expected for such a S=C=S...XY molecular complex. Moreover, for each system involving a heteronuclear dihalogen, two possible complexes exist, viz., S=C=S...XY and S=C=S...YX. The calculated structures, vibrational properties, and binding energetics of the complexes are analyzed, and the NBO formalism is used to interpret their bonding properties. The IR spectra of the complexes thus simulated provided vital guidance for the interpretation of the matrix spectra. For example, complexation was predicted and observed (i) to induce red shifts of the principal absorptions associated with both the CS2 and XY components and (ii) to result, through the change in symmetry, in activation of some modes that are IR-silent for the free components.  相似文献

The treatment of [Ru3(CO)12] with 6,6'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bipy) or 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me2phen) in THF at reflux temperature gives the trinuclear dihydride complexes [Ru3(mu-H)2(mu3-L1)(CO)8] (L1 = HCbipyMe 1 a, HCphenMe 1 b), which result from the activation of two C-H bonds of a methyl group. The hexa-, hepta-, and pentanuclear derivatives [Ru6(mu3-H)(mu5-L2)(mu-CO)3(CO)13] (L2 = CbipyMe 2 a, CphenMe 2 b), [Ru7(mu3-H)(mu5-L2)(mu-CO)2(CO)16] (L2 = CbipyMe 3 a, CphenMe 3 b), and [Ru5(mu-H)(mu5-C)(mu-L3)(CO)13] (L3 = bipyMe 4 a, phenMe 4 b) can also be obtained by treating 1 a and 1 b with [Ru3(CO)12]. Compounds 2 a and 2 b have a basal edge-bridged square-pyramidal metallic skeleton with a carbyne-type C atom capping the four Ru atoms of the pyramid base. The structures of 3 a and 3 b are similar to those of 2 a and 2 b, respectively, but an additional Ru atom now caps a triangular face of the square-pyramidal fragment of the metallic skeleton. The most interesting feature of 2 a, 2 b, 3 a, and 3 b is that their carbyne-type C atoms were originally bound to three hydrogen atoms in Me2bipy or Me2phen and, therefore, they arise from the unprecedented activation of all three C-H bonds of C-bound methyl groups. The pentanuclear compounds 4 a and 4 b contain a carbide ligand surrounded by five Ru atoms in a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal environment. They are the products of a series of processes that includes the activation of all bonds (three C-H and one C-C) of organic methyl groups, and are the first examples of complexes having carbide ligands that arise from C-bonded methyl groups. The alkenyl derivatives [Ru5(mu5-C)(mu-p-MeC6H4CHCHphenMe)(CO)13] (5 b), [Ru5(mu-H)(mu5-C)(mu-p-MeC6H4CHCHphenMe)(p-tolC2)(CO)12] (6 b), and [Ru5(mu-H)(mu5-C)(mu-PhCHCHphenMe)(PhC2)(CO)12] (7 b) have been obtained by treating 4 b with p-tolyl- and phenylacetylene, respectively. Their heterocyclic ligands contain an alkenyl fragment in the position that was originally occupied by a methyl group. Therefore, these complexes are the result of the formal substitution of an alkenyl group for a methyl group of 2,9-dimethyl-1,10- phenanthroline.  相似文献

Chinchorros, a fishermen culture, who lived about 7000 years ago in the coastal region of the Atacama Desert in the northern outpost of present-day Chile, practiced an intricate system of mummification of their dead. The drinking water in this region is rich with arsenic, and the mummies were found in these arsenic endemic areas. Well preserved mummy hair samples provided a unique opportunity to explore the ancient arsenic exposure of the Chinchorros by laser ablation inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) using a single hair strand without any elaborate sample preparation. Forty-six hair samples from mummies found in five burial sites around the Atacama Desert, Chile, were used for this study. After cleaning, hair strands were placed on mounting tape and ablated using a Nd-YAG UV laser coupled to ICP-MS. A suite of contemporary human hair from the same region with known arsenic concentrations was used for calibration of LA-ICP-MS. Satisfactory linear calibration functions were obtained for arsenic in hair. The method detection limit was 0.8 µg/g and the sample throughput for this method is ∼ 10 samples per hour. It appears that mummies from the Morro (Arica), Iquique and Camarones had the elevated concentration of arsenic in hair (AsH > 10 µg/g) in this sub-set of samples, where Morro had the broad distribution of As concentrations.  相似文献

The G protein-coupled kisspeptin receptor (GPR54 or KISS1R) is an important mediator in reproduction, metabolism and cancer biology; however, there are limited fluorescent probes or antibodies for direct imaging of these receptors in cells and intact tissues, which can help to interrogate their multiple biological roles. Herein, we describe the rational design and characterization of a new acid-resistant BODIPY-based amino acid (Trp-BODIPY PLUS), and its implementation for solid-phase synthesis of fluorescent bioactive peptides. Trp-BODIPY PLUS retains the binding capabilities of both short linear and cyclic peptides and displays notable turn-on fluorescence emission upon target binding for wash-free imaging. Finally, we employed Trp-BODIPY PLUS to prepare some of the first fluorogenic kisspeptin-based probes and visualized the expression and localization of GPR54 receptors in human cells and in whole mouse pancreatic islets by fluorescence imaging.  相似文献

Cytotoxic immune cells, including T lymphocytes (CTLs) and natural killer (NK) cells, are essential components of the host response against tumors. CTLs and NK cells secrete granzyme A (GzmA) upon recognition of cancer cells; however, there are very few tools that can detect physiological levels of active GzmA with high spatiotemporal resolution. Herein, we report the rational design of the near-infrared fluorogenic substrates for human GzmA and mouse GzmA. These activity-based probes display very high catalytic efficiency and selectivity over other granzymes, as shown in tissue lysates from wild-type and GzmA knock-out mice. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the probes can image how adaptive immune cells respond to antigen-driven recognition of cancer cells in real time.  相似文献
