This paper presents a relaxation algorithm, which is based on the overset grid technology, an unsteady three‐dimensional Navier–Stokes flow solver, and an inner‐ and outer‐relaxation method, for simulation of the unsteady flows of moving high‐speed trains. The flow solutions on the overlapped grids can be accurately updated by introducing a grid tracking technique and the inner‐ and outer‐relaxation method. To evaluate the capability and solution accuracy of the present algorithm, the computational static pressure distribution of a single stationary TGV high‐speed train inside a long tunnel is investigated numerically, and is compared with the experimental data from low‐speed wind tunnel test. Further, the unsteady flows of two TGV high‐speed trains passing by each other inside a long tunnel and at the tunnel entrance are simulated. A series of time histories of pressure distributions and aerodynamic loads acting on the train and tunnel surfaces are depicted for detailed discussions. A novel dinitroxide mediating agent that was suitable for stable free‐radical polymerization was synthesized and used in the block copolymerization of styrene and t‐butyl styrene. Quantitative yields of a novel dinitroxide based on 1,6‐hexamethylene diisocyanate and 4‐hydroxy‐2,2,6,6‐tetramethyl‐1‐piperidinyloxy were obtained. Various experimental parameters, including the nitroxide‐to‐initiator molar ratio, were examined, and it was determined that the polymerization was most controlled under conditions similar to those of conventional 2,2,6,6‐tetramethyl‐1‐piperidinyloxy‐mediated stable free‐radical polymerization. Moreover, the dinitroxide mediator proved to be a viable route for the facile two‐step synthesis of triblock copolymers of styrene and t‐butyl styrene. However, the dinitroxide mediation process resulted in a higher than expected level of nitroxide decomposition, which resulted in polymers possessing a terminal alkoxyamine and an adjacent hydroxylamine rather than a preferred internal bisalkoxyamine. This decomposition resulted in the formation of diblock copolymer species during the triblock copolymer synthesis. Gel permeation chromatography was used to monitor the chain‐end decomposition kinetics, and the determined observed rate constant (5.89 × 10?5 s?1) for decomposition agreed well with previous studies for other dinitroxide mediating agents. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Ethylisobutylaluminoxane (EBAO) and its analogues were synthesized by a reaction between an triethylaluminum (Et3Al)/triisobutylaluminum (i‐Bu3Al) mixture and 4‐fluorobenzeneboronic acid, phenylboronic acid, or n‐butaneboronic acid and subsequent hydrolysis with water. They were used as cocatalysts in ethylene polymerization catalyzed by an iron complex {[(ArN?C(Me))2C5H3N]FeCl2, where Ar is 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl}. Polyethylene with a high molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution was prepared with modified EBAOs, and the performance of the iron complex at high polymerization temperatures was greatly improved. The activators for the iron complex also affected the polymerization activity and the molecular weight of the resultant polyethylene. It was suggested that the stereo and electronic effects of the substitute groups of aluminoxane contributed to the improved performance of the new activators. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Based on the complexation between proteins and Cu(II) coupled with the time-resolved chemiluminescence (CL) technique, a highly sensitive and quantitative assay for measuring proteins in solution is described. The complexes of proteins with Cu(II) have a strongly catalytic effect on the luminol-H2O2 CL reaction. Because the CL emission produced by the complexes is much more long-lived than that by Cu(II), the CL signals originating from proteins can be easily identified and measured with a time-resolved technique. On this basis, bovine albumin fraction V (BAF V) can be quantitatively determined in the range of 0.01 - 5.0 microg/ml with a detection limit of 5.8 ng/ml. The results show that the proposed assay exhibits a small variation in the response values for the same amount of different proteins, as compared to the Lowry as well as Bradford assays. The CL assay has also been studied for the detection of immobilized proteins.  相似文献

对初始分布为K-V分布的离子束进行模拟研究.除观察到存在束晕现象外,还发现离子束在通 道内运行过程中,离子沿径向密度分布发生了变化. 通过延迟反馈控制,不仅可以消除束晕 ,而且只要控制参数适当,也可以使束中心部分呈均匀分布状态. 关键词: 强流离子束 束晕 填充因子 离子密度分布  相似文献

利用相位掩模法 ,在D形内包层掺Yb3 双包层光纤一端直接写制出Bragg光栅 ,用作双包层光纤激光器的输出腔镜 .试验得到了线宽为 0 196nm ,波长为 10 5 8 2nm ,最高输出功率为 5 70mW的稳定激光输出 ,解决了激光器中模式竞争造成的输出不稳定现象 .从速率方程出发 ,对激光器的输出功率与抽运功率、光栅反射率的关系以及最佳光纤长度进行了理论分析 ,结果与实验符合很好  相似文献

本文报道了在Zn0.76Cd0.24Se/ZnSe多量子阱(MQWs)中,用不同的Ar+激光线激发,观察到了共振增强的喇曼散射。首次在室温和77K的条件下,用Ar+的457.9nm谱线激发,观察到分别来自ZnSe垒层和Zn0.76Cd0.24Se阱层的限制纵光学声子模(LO)的喇曼散射,并对上述不同的光学模的起因进行了分析。  相似文献

概述了超短激光脉冲技术发展的历程。详尽的论述了啁啾脉冲放大技术的原理和一些关键技术 ,并对当今飞秒激光器研究发展的状况进行了综述。在分析其应用前景的基础上 ,进一步指出了这一技术领域未来的发展趋势。结果表明 ,脉冲激光放大系统以后的发展方向是 :更短脉冲 ;追求更高峰值功率 ;连续光谱调谐化 ;向小型化乃至全光纤化发展。  相似文献
