Non-metal nitrides are an exciting field of chemistry, featuring a significant number of compounds that can possess outstanding material properties. These properties mainly rely on maximizing the number of strong covalent bonds, with crosslinked XN6 octahedra frameworks being particularly attractive. In this study, the phosphorus–nitrogen system was studied up to 137 GPa in laser-heated diamond anvil cells, and three previously unobserved phases were synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy measurements and density functional theory calculations. δ-P3N5 and PN2 were found to form at 72 and 134 GPa, respectively, and both feature dense 3D networks of the so far elusive PN6 units. The two compounds are ultra-incompressible, having a bulk modulus of K0=322 GPa for δ-P3N5 and 339 GPa for PN2. Upon decompression below 7 GPa, δ-P3N5 undergoes a transformation into a novel α′-P3N5 solid, stable at ambient conditions, that has a unique structure type based on PN4 tetrahedra. The formation of α′-P3N5 underlines that a phase space otherwise inaccessible can be explored through materials formed under high pressure.  相似文献

Catalytic conversion of carbohydrates into value-added products and platform chemicals became a trend in recent years. Microwave activation used in the processes of carbohydrate conversion coupled with the proper choice of catalysts makes it possible to enhance dramatically the efficiency and sometimes the selectivity of catalysts. This mini-review presents a brief literature survey related to state-of-the-art methods developed recently by the world research community to solve the problem of rational conversion of carbohydrates, mostly produced from natural resources and wastes (forestry and agriculture wastes) including production of hydrogen, synthesis gas, furanics, and alcohols. The focus is made on microwave technologies used for processing carbohydrates. Of particular interest is the use of heterogeneous catalysts and hybrid materials in processing carbohydrates.  相似文献

An atom-economic ring construction approach to the synthesis of α-(hetero)arylfurans based on renewable furanic platform chemicals has been developed. Corresponding compounds have been prepared in good to excellent yields via [2+2+2] and [4+2] cycloaddition reactions using metal-catalyzed or photoredox protocols. Easily available HMF-based 2-hydroxymethyl-5-ethynylfuran and 2-hydroxymethyl-5-cyanofuran were used as starting materials. A synthetic route with an improved carbon economy factor has been implemented to achieve sustainability aim. The possible application of arylfurans as molecular conductors has been investigated by DFT calculations, which revealed excellent charge transfer properties. As a future perspective, integration of biomass processing strategy into manufacturing of molecular electronics was pointed out to achieve the aim of sustainability.  相似文献

A reversed‐phase ion‐pair high‐performance liquid chromatography procedure was developed for the separation of polyprenyl diphosphate oligomer homologues obtained chemically from plant polyprenols. Tetrabutylammonium phosphate was used as the ion‐pair reagent, and the dependence of the separation quality on pH of ion‐pair reagent was investigated for the first time. The procedure is applicable for the control of commercial available polyprenyl monophosphates (the active components of veterinary drugs Phosprenyl and Gamapren) for the possible presence of polyprenyl diphosphate byproducts.  相似文献

The ‘Normal Halogen Dependence’ of 13C NMR chemical shifts in the series of halogenomethanes is revisited at the four‐component relativistic level. Calculations of 13C NMR chemical shifts of 70 halogenomethanes have been carried out at the density functional theory (DFT) and MP2 levels with taking into account relativistic effects using the four‐component relativistic theory of Dirac‐Coulomb within the different computational methods (4RPA, 4OPW91) and hybrid computational schemes (MP2 + 4RPA, MP2 + 4OPW91). The most efficient computational protocols are derived for practical purposes. Relativistic shielding effect reaches as much as several hundreds of ppm for heavy halogenomethanes, and to account for this effect in comparison with experiment at the qualitative level, relativistic Dyall's basis sets of triple‐zeta quality or higher are to be used within the framework of the four‐component relativistic theory taking into account solvent effects. Relativistic geometrical optimization (as compared with the non‐relativistic level) is essential for the molecules containing at least two iodines at one carbon atom. Dark‐red poly[[decaaquabis(μ2‐3‐cyano‐4‐dicyanomethylene‐5‐oxo‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrrol‐2‐olato‐κ2N:N′)bis(μ2‐3‐cyano‐4‐dicyanomethylene‐1H‐pyrrole‐2,5‐diolato‐κ2N:N′)tricadmium] hemihydrate], [Cd3(C8HN4O2)2(C8N4O2)2(H2O)10]·0.5H2O, (III), has a polymeric two‐dimensional structure, the building block of which includes two cadmium cations (one of them located on an inversion centre), and both singly and doubly charged anions. The cathodoluminescence spectra of the crystals are different and cover the wavelength range from UV to red, with emission peaks at 377 and 620 nm for (III), and at 583 and 580 nm for (I) and (II), respectively.  相似文献

Ab initio and DFT thermochemical study of diradical mechanism of 2 + 2 cycloreversion of parent heterocyclobutanes and 1,3‐diheterocyclobutanes, cyclo‐(CH2CH2CH2X), and cyclo‐(CH2XCH2X), where X = NH, O, SiH2, PH, S, was undertaken by calculating closed‐shell singlet molecules at three levels of theory: MP4/6‐311G(d)//MP2/6‐31G(d)+ZPE, MP4/6‐311G(d,p)//MP2/6‐31G (d,p)+ZPE, and B3LYP/6‐311+G(d,p)+ZPE. The enthalpies of 2 + 2 cycloreversion decrease on going from group 14 to group 16 elements, being substantially higher for the second row elements. Normally endothermic 2 + 2 cycloreversion is predicted to be exothermic for 1,3‐diazetidine and 1,3‐dioxtane. Strain energies of the four‐membered rings were calculated via the appropriate homodesmic reactions. The enthalpies of ring opening via the every possible one‐bond homolysis that results in the formation of the corresponding 1,4‐diradical were found by subtracting the strain energies from the central bond dissociation energies of the heterobutanes CH3CH2—CH2XH, CH3CH2—XCH3, and HXCH2—XCH3. The latter energies were determined via the enthalpies of the appropriate dehydrocondensation reactions, using C—H and X—H bond energies in CH3XH calculated at G2 level of theory. Except 1,3‐disiletane, in which ring‐opening enthalpy attains 69.7 kcal/mol, the enthalpies of the most economical ring openings do not exceed 60.7 kcal/mol. The 1,4‐diradical decomposition enthalpies found as differences between 2 + 2 cycloreversion and ring‐opening enthalpies were negative, the least exothermicity was calculated for ⋅ CH2SiH2CH2CH2. The only exception was 1,3‐disiletane, which being diradical, CH2SiH2CH2SiH2, decomposed endothermically. Since decomposition of the diradical containing two silicon atoms required extra energy, raising the enthalpy of the overall reaction to 78.9 kcal/mol, 1,3‐disiletane was predicted to be highly resisting to 2 + 2 cycloreversion. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Abstract— The sieve effect and scattering within leaves are analysed by the use of a simple model. By plotting the leaf transmittance (corrected for light not entering the leaf) vs the transmittance of an equivalent amount of homogeneous plastid pigments, an intercept is found where the latter is zero. This minimum transmittance represents the fraction of the leaf area devoted to the ray of the sieve effect which strikes no chloroplasts. It varied between 7% and 0.2% in non-senescent leaves. When this was subtracted from the leaf spectrum, the peak absorbance was greater than that of the homogeneous leaf pigments in all cases. The ratio of the leaf absorbance to that of the homogeneous pigments, at the same wavelength, is the apparent optical pathlength, which increases with decreasing absorbance. By plotting this ratio vs the absorbance of the equivalent homogeneous pigment, an intercept is found where the latter is zero. This intercept is interpreted as an estimate of the true mean scattering pathlength. Leaves with high chlorophyll contents had low pathlengths (mean and SD = 2.30 ± 0.25); with moderate and low contents, the values were higher (2.75 ± 0.28, 3.95 ± 0.77). Another application of the model gave values between 3 and 4 for the true scattering pathlength.  相似文献

Configurational assignment and conformational analysis of a series of iminodihydrofurans obtained from cyanoacetylenic alcohols were performed on the basis of experimental measurements and high-level ab initio calculations of their (13)C-(13)C spin-spin coupling constants. The title compounds were shown to form and exist in solution as the individual Z isomers, adopting the orthogonal orientation of the amino, alkylamino and dialkylamino groups and the s-trans orientation of the CONH(2) group at the C(4) position of the 2,5-dihydro-2-iminofuran moiety.  相似文献
