A novel method incorporating the shielded method and the post-processing method has been proposed to fabricate the π-phase-shifted fibre grating. Then an Er-doped π-phase-shifted distributed feedback fibre grating laser has been fabricated using the grating. The laser threshold is 20mW. When pumped with 90mW light at 980nm, the laser gives an output of 1.1mW. Its signal-to-noise ratio is better than 60dB. It is demonstrated that the laser is single mode operation by means of a Fabry--Perot scanning interferometer.  相似文献

The flow characteristics in a confined slot jet impinging on a flat plate were investigated in low Reynolds number regime by using time-resolved Particle Image Velocimetry technique. The jet Reynolds number was varied from 404 to 1026, where it is presumed that the transient regime exists. We found that the vortical structures in the shear layer are developed with increase of Reynolds number and that the jet becomes remains steady at the Reynolds number of 404. Vortical structures and their temporal evolution are verified and the results were compared with previous numerical studies.  相似文献

Altitude-resolved volume mixing ratio profiles of CFC-113 have recently become available on a global scale with the Atmospheric Chemistry Experiment (ACE) satellite mission. However, the accuracy of the retrieval is currently limited by the uncertainties on the spectroscopic parameters of CFC-113. This paper reports on the geometrical structure, harmonic frequencies and intensities in the mid-infrared region of the two conformers of CFC-113 and the evaluation of whether theoretical calculations reproduce measurements. The calculations are performed using density functional theory at the B3LYP/6-311+G(3df) level. The molecular geometry parameters, the enthalpy difference and the potential barrier between conformers are calculated. The harmonic frequency of the normal modes of vibration are presented and accurately compared to experimental data. Overtones and combination bands are assigned in the 1200-2500 cm−1 region.  相似文献

Tithonia tagetiflora Desv. (Asteraceae) is a widespread plant in Vietnam, and the species of Tithonia are known as plants containing many biologically active compounds. However, T. tagetiflora's chemical composition remains mostly unknown. Therefore, we now report the structural elucidation of two new sesquiterpene lactones, 8‐angeloyloxy‐2,14‐epoxygermacra‐4,10(1),11(13)‐trien‐6,12‐olide (1) and 6‐angeloyloxy‐1‐hydroxy‐3,4‐epoxygermacra‐9,11(13)‐dien‐8,12‐olide (2), together with three known compounds, including two norisoprenoids, (6S,9S)‐vomifoliol or (6R,9R)‐vomifoliol (3) and (6S,9S)‐roseoside (4), and one glutinane type triterpene, epi‐glutinol (5), from the leaves of T. tagetiflora. Mesoporous ZrMCM‐41 nanoparticles were synthesized by a usual way where tetraethyl‐orthosilicate (TEOS) and zirconium nitrate were used as the inorganic precursors. The obtained nanoscale ZrMCM‐41 was characterized by X‐ray diffraction, N2 physis‐sorption, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Characterization results revealed that zirconium salt added in the synthesis had a crucial effect on the assembly of nanoscale ZrMCM‐41 with relatively uniform particle size, which was rarely observed in reported studies for ZrMCM‐41 synthesized using the similar method. Meanwhile, the possible mechanism behind the synthesis was discussed based on the character of hydrolysis and condensation of TEOS and the mild acidic environment induced by the hydrolysable zirconium salt under aqueous conditions. Thus obtained nanoscale ZrMCM‐41 with developed pore structures may be advantageous to general applications in catalysis or adsorption host‐guest chemistry in terms of efficient mass transport of guest molecules.  相似文献

In this work the synthesis of poly(butyl acrylate)‐b‐poly(2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2‐N‐yl)carbonyl]oxy}ethyl methacrylate) (PBA‐b‐PHEMAGl) diblock glycopolymer and poly(2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2‐N‐yl)carbonyl]oxy}ethyl methacrylate)‐b‐poly(butyl acrylate)‐b‐poly(2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2‐N‐yl)carbonyl]oxy}ethyl methacrylate) (PHEMAGl‐b‐PBA‐b‐PHEMAGl) was performed via atom transfer radical polymerization. Monofunctional and difunctional poly(butyl acrylate) macroinitiators were used to synthesize the well‐defined diblock and triblock glycopolymers by chain extension reaction with the glycomonomer HEMAGl. The self‐assembly of these glycopolymers in aqueous solution was studied by dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microcopy, showing the coexistence of spherical micelles and polymeric vesicles. In addition, the biomolecular recognition capacity of these micelles and vesicles, containing glucose moieties in their coronas, was investigated using the lectin Concanavalin A, Canavalia Ensiformis, which specifically interacts with glucose groups. The binding capacity of Concanavalin A with glycopolymer is influenced by the copolymer composition, increasing with the length of HEMAGl glycopolymer segment in the block copolymer. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In the course of understanding biological regulatory networks (BRN), scientists usually start by studying small BRNs that they believe to be of particular importance to represent a biological function, and then, embed them in a larger network. Such a reduction can lead to neglect relevant regulations and to study a network whose properties can be very different from the properties of this network viewed as a part of the whole. In this paper we study, from a logical point of view, on which conditions concerning both networks, properties can be inherited by BRNs from sub-BRNs. We give some conditions on the nature of the network embeddings ensuring that dynamic properties on the embedded sub-BRNs are preserved at the level of the whole BRN.  相似文献

Poly(N-tert-butylacrylamide) (PNtBAm) and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) form interpolymer complexes in 1- and 2-propanol, blend in ethanol, whereas a segregative phase separation is observed when using methanol as solvent as shown by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometry and elemental analysis studies. The composition of PNtBAm/PAA complexes has been determined. Thermal studies demonstrated that all complexes show unique glass transition temperatures, higher than those of the polymer components. Complexation of PAA with PNtBAm results in an improvement of its thermal stability. Solvent effects and specific interactions in the system PNtBAm/PAA have been studied by FTIR, revealing that differences in the polymer–solvent interactions are a decisive factor governing complex formation in solution.  相似文献

OXA-17, an extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) conferring severe antibiotic resistance, hydrolytically inactivates β-lactam antibiotics, inducing a lack of eradication of pathogenic bacteria by oxyimino β-lactams and not helping hospital infection control. Thus, the enzyme is a potential target for developing antimicrobial agents against pathogens producing ESBLs. OXA-17 was purified and crystallized at 298 K. X-ray diffraction data from OXA-17 crystal have been collected to 1.85 Å resolution using synchrotron radiation. The crystal of OXA-17 belongs to space group P212121, with unit-cell parameters a = 48.37, b = 101.12, and c = 126.07 Å. Analysis of the packing density shows that the asymmetric unit probably contains two molecules with a solvent content of 54.6%.  相似文献
