Summary.  There are more than 150 papers that report on the solubility of the four chloromethanes in water. Volume 62 of the Solubility Data Series compiles and evaluates the papers concerned with the liquid–liquid solubility of the chloromethanes with water. A similar evaluation has not been carried out for the vapor–liquid solubility at a partial pressure up to the saturation vapor pressure of the four chloromethanes. This paper uses the liquid–liquid evaluated solubility values to calculate vapor–liquid Henry’s constants. They are compared with a compilation of Henry’s constants with good agreements between the calculated constants and the median of the compiled constants. It is believed that the calculated constants are a reliable set of values to use for the vapor–liquid solubility of the chloromethanes in water. Depth profiles of Ga2O3/a-SiO2/Al2O3- substrate, Ga2O3/a-Si3N4/Al2O3- substrate, and Ga2O3/Al2O3 substrate thin layers were determined by the SNMS/HFM method. Al diffusion from the Al2O3 substrate was investigated after 50, and in some cases after 600 hours of heat treatment time at different temperatures (600 °C,850 °C,950 °C,1050 °C and 1150 °C). The diffusion coefficient of Al at 850 °C was found to be D Al=8.7 * 10–18 cm2/s in amorphous SiO2; D Al=1.5*10–17 cm2/s in amorphous Si3N4 and D Al=5.5* 10–16 cm2/s in Ga2O3 at 600 °C, respectively. The possible diffusion mechanism is explained in terms of the metal-oxygen bond-strengths. Although the studied materials have high resistivity at room temperature, the applied SNMS/HFM method has proven to be an efficient surface analytical tool even in these cases.Dedicated to Professor Dr. rer. nat. A black hole may carry quantum numbers that arenot associated with massless gauge fields, contrary to the spirit of the no-hair theorems. The quantum hair is invisible in the classical limit, but measurable via quantum interference experiments. Quantum hair alters the temperature of the radiation emitted by a black hole. It also induces non-zero expectation values for fields outside the event horizon; these expectation values are non-perturbative in , and decay exponentially far from the hole. The existence of quantum hair demonstrates that a black hole can have an intricate quantum-mechanical structure that is completely missed by standard semiclassical theory.Based on an essay which received second award from the Gravity Research Foundation, 1991  相似文献

The enantiomeric separation of various kinds of basic pharmaceuticals has been investigated in nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis (NACE) systems using an ion-pairing reagent in combination with cyclodextrins (CDs). The simultaneous addition to the methanolic background electrolyte (BGE) of (+)-S-camphorsulfonate or alkanesulfonates and an anionic beta-cyclodextrin derivative, heptakis(2,3-dimethyl-6-sulfato)-beta-cyclodextrin (HDMS-beta-CD), led to partial or complete enantioresolution in most cases. In the absence of ion-pairing reagent, the enantiomeric resolution obtained with this CD derivative was most often completely lost or strongly reduced, indicating the important role of ion-pairing in the chiral recognition mechanism in these NACE systems. The influence of the nature and concentration of the counterion and the anionic CD derivative on the enantioseparation of basic compounds was studied. Synergistic effects between these two kinds of charged additives were clearly observed.  相似文献

Convenient high-yield syntheses of the primary and di-primary heteroaryl-phosphines R-PH2 and H2P-R'-PH2(with R = 2-thienyl, 2-furyl, and R'= 2,5-thiophenediyl, 2,5-furandiyl, respectively) are presented. The products and a set of precursor molecules have been characterized by analytical and spectral data, and the crystal structures of selected molecules have been determined: 2-C4H3O-PCl2, 2,5-(Cl2P)2C4H2O, 2,5-[(Et2N)2P]2C4H2E (with E = O, S). In the crystals, the two molecules with -PCl2 substituents adopt trans conformations, while the other two have the -P(NEt2)2 groups rotated into a twist conformation. The reaction of the thienyl compounds with tris[(tert-phosphine)gold]oxonium tetrafluoroborates gave almost quantitative yields of the tri- and hexanuclear gold complexes, respectively: {2-C4H3S-P[Au(PR3)]3}+BF4- and [2,5-{[(R3P)Au]3P}2C4H2S]2+(BF4(-)2, (R =tBu, Ph). The structures of the compounds with R3P =tBu3P ligands have been determined. In both cases the [2-C4H3/2S-P] units cap triangles of gold atoms in an array that can be described as three [Au(PR3)]+ cations bridged by a phosphido dianion (RP)2-.  相似文献

1,2-Dihydropyrazin-2-one derivatives, which have two aminoalkyl groups at the positions 3 and 6, were found to be efficient tools for the construction of potent, selective and long-acting opioid mimetics. During the course of preparation, we found that the catalytic hydrogenation of 3,6-bis(benzyloxycarbonylaminomethyl)-5-methyl-1,2-dihydropyrazin-2-one to remove the benzyloxycarbonyl groups resulted in a side reaction. By MS and NMR studies and by preparation of additional 1,2-dihydropyrazin-2-one derivatives, the structure of the by-product was identified as 3-aminomethyl-5,6-dimethyl-1,2-dihydropyrazin-2-one. Preparation of additional compounds substituted with deuterium provided us with sufficient information to confirm the structure of the product and to support a cyclization mechanism in its formation.  相似文献

This paper reports about two new hydrogen-containing rare-earth oxoborates RE4B6O14(OH)2 (RE=Dy, Ho) synthesized under high-pressure/high-temperature conditions from the corresponding rare-earth oxides, boron oxide, and water using a Walker-type multianvil equipment at 8 GPa and 880 °C. The single crystal structure determination of Dy4B6O14(OH)2 showed: Pbcn, a=1292.7(2), b=437.1(2), , Z=2, R1=0.0190, and wR2=0.0349 (all data). The isotypic holmium species revealed: Pbcn, a=1292.8(2), b=436.2(2), , Z=2, R1=0.0206, and wR2=0.0406 (all data). The compounds exhibit a new type of structure, which is built up from layers of condensed BO4-tetrahedra. Between the layers, the rare-earth cations are coordinated by 7+2 oxygen atoms. Furthermore, we report about temperature-resolved in situ powder diffraction measurements, DTA/TG, and IR-spectroscopic investigations into RE4B6O14(OH)2 (RE=Dy, Ho).  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of nido-[1,1,2,2-(CO)(4)-1,2-(PPh(3))(2)-1,2-FeIrB(2)H(5)] (1) is reported. 1 is formed in low yield as a degradation product from the reaction between [{&mgr;-Fe(CO)(4)}B(6)H(9)](-) and trans-Ir(CO)Cl(PPh(3))(2) in THF and is characterized from NMR, IR, and analytical data and by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 12.8622(12), b = 14.3313(12), c = 23.579(3) ?, beta = 97.12(2) degrees, Z = 4, V = 4257.0(8) ?(3), R(1) = 4.83%, and wR(2)()(F(2)) = 12.43%. The heterobimetallaborane structure may be viewed as a derivative of the binary boron hydride nido-[B(4)H(7)](-) and is related to the known homobimetallatetraborane analogues [Fe(2)(CO)(6)B(2)H(6)] and [Co(2)(CO)(6)B(2)H(4)]. 1 exhibits proton fluxionality in its (1)H NMR spectrum, which is related to that found in the latter two compounds.  相似文献

Hexanethiolate monolayer-protected gold nanoclusters (MPCs) were used as redox quenchers at the polarizable water/1,2-dichloroethane (DCE) interface. Photocurrent responses originating from the heterogeneous quenching of photoexcited water soluble porphyrin complexes by MPCs dissolved in the DCE phase were observed. As MPCs can function as both electron acceptors and donors, the photocurrent results from the superposition of two simultaneous processes, which correspond to the oxidation and reduction of MPCs. The magnitude of the net photocurrent is essentially determined by the balance of the kinetics of these two processes, which can be controlled by tuning the Galvani potential difference between the two phases. We show that, within the available potential window, the apparent electron-transfer rate constants follow classical Butler-Volmer dependence on the applied potential difference.  相似文献
