Alkoxy hydroperoxides, obtained by ozonizing olefins in alcoholic solution, were treated with ferrous sulfate. C-C bond scission and radical formation was followed by dimerization of the radicals formed. Ozonides reacted similarly. Acyclic and cyclic olefins, including a cyclic enol ether, gave rise to a range of ,ω-disubstituted products in modest yields. By using ferric chloride, ω-chloro esters were obtained from the alkoxy hydroperoxides derived from olefinic esters. 相似文献

We show that there is one-to-one correspondence between certain algebraically and categorically defined subobjects, congruences and admissible preorders of S-posets. Using preservation properties of Pos-equivalence functors between Pos-categories we deduce that if S and T are Morita equivalent partially ordered monoids and F:Pos S →Pos T is a Pos-equivalence functor then an S-poset A S and the T-poset F(A S ) have isomorphic lattices of (regular, downwards closed) subobjects, congruences and admissible preorders. The generation of brilliant, stable, and broadband coherent synchrotron radiation (CSR) in electron storage rings depends strongly on ring rf system properties such as frequency and gap voltage. We have observed intense coherent radiation at frequencies approaching the THz regime produced by the MIT-Bates South Hall Ring, which employs a high-frequency S-band rf system. The measured CSR spectral intensity enhancement with 2 mA stored current was up to 10,000 times above background for wave numbers near 3 cm(-1). The measurements also uncovered strong beam instabilities that must be suppressed if such a very high rf frequency electron storage ring is to become a viable coherent THz source. 相似文献

Present study was carried out to investigate the conversion of NO by simultaneous action of the dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) and TiO2 catalyst. NO conversion was recorded as a function of the input energy density by varying the percentage of NO and O2. NO conversion efficiency increased at higher content of O2. The presence of a TiO2 coating inside the reactor resulted in initially enhanced NO conversion but in few minutes the positive effect of TiO2 diminished. The increased conversion of NO in initial stage of the process was more pronounced at higher densities of input energy (higher than 100 J/l) and at lower O2 concentrations, but without O2 the TiO2 coating had no effect on the conversion of NO. The results indicate that the conversion of NO during first few minutes is related to the surface reactions with adsorbed atomic oxygen. 相似文献

We show how the spectral structure of the magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) in photoemission (PE) can be analysed using a sum rule for the sublevel orbital moment. For itinerant 3d metals, such as Co, Fe and Ni, the MCD in the 2p PE does not agree with a single-particle model. On the other hand, a final-state impurity model calculation gives an excellent agreement with the experimental results for the Ni 2p PE of nickel metal. This indicates that inter-configurational mixing must be taken into account to understand the detailed MCD structure in metallic systems. We report x-ray photoemission spectroscopy results on (Ga,Mn)As films as a function of both temperature and Mn doping. Analysis of Mn 2p core level spectra reveals the presence of a distinct electronic screening channel in the bulk, hitherto undetected in more surface sensitive analysis. Comparison with model calculations identifies the character of the Mn 3d electronic states and clarifies the role, and the difference between surface and bulk, of hybridization in mediating the ferromagnetic coupling in (Ga,Mn)As. 相似文献

We report a study of the electronic properties of the ferromagnetic semiconductor (Ga,Mn)As using magnetic linear dichroism in the angular dependence of Mn 2p photoemission under hard x-ray excitation. Bulk plasmon loss satellites demonstrate that the probed Mn ions are incorporated deep within the GaAs lattice, while the observed large dichroism indicates that the spectra originate from ferromagnetic substitutional Mn. Simulations of the spectra using an Anderson impurity model show that the ferromagnetic Mn 3d electrons of substitutional Mn in (Ga,Mn)As are intermediate between localized and delocalized. 相似文献

We propose to build at SOLEIL a facility for the accurate measurement of the properties of optical elements and detectors from the extreme ultraviolet (EUV), soft X-ray spectral regions up to the hard X-rays. The beamline will serve as a standard for such measurements and hence we call it a calibration and standards beamline, or alternatively, a metrology beamline. This beamline will also be valuable as a general-purpose beamline to prepare, test and set up a wide range of experiments. A complementary important aspect of this installation is the realization of a primary standard (as in BESSY II) [1]: in this case, the metrology beamline of SOLEIL could become the national primary standard source in collaboration with the Laboratoire National d'Essais (LNE) partner of this project. In another field, this installation will be used in the design and characterization of several diagnostics for the Megajoule Laser in Bordeaux in collaboration with the CEA DIF, also a partner of this project. 相似文献
