We have synthesized 20-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (20-HETE) following a new route and delineated its functional effects in human bronchi. Isometric tension measurements were performed, and they demonstrated that synthetic 20-HETE induced a concentration-dependent relaxant effect in ASM on resting tone and on bronchi pre-contracted with methacholine.  相似文献

In this article we consider the 3D Primitive Equations (PEs) of the ocean, without viscosity and linearized around a stratified flow. As recalled in the Introduction, the PEs without viscosity ought to be supplemented with boundary conditions of a totally new type which must be nonlocal. In this article a set of boundary conditions is proposed for which we show that the linearized PEs are well-posed. The proposed boundary conditions are based on a suitable spectral decomposition of the unknown functions. Noteworthy is the rich structure of the Primitive Equations without viscosity. Our study is based on a modal decomposition in the vertical direction; in this decomposition, the first mode is essentially a (linearized) Euler flow, then a few modes correspond to a stationary problem partly elliptic and partly hyperbolic; finally all the other modes correspond to a stationary problem fully hyperbolic.  相似文献

The biodistribution and metabolism of 14C-labeled disulfonated and trisulfonated gallium phthalocyanine (Ga-PcS) was studied in radiation-induced fibrosarcoma tumor-bearing C3H mice. The [14C]Ga-PcS compounds were prepared via the condensation of [14C]phthalic acid and sulfophthalic acid in the presence of gallium chloride and characterized by their spectroscopic and chromatographic properties. The tissue concentrations of the dyes was measured by scintillation counting of the 14C and by extraction and fluorescence measurements. Elevated dye levels were found in the liver, lungs, kidneys and spleen as well as in the tumor. Lower sulfonation of Ga-PcS favored liver and spleen uptake whereas higher dye sulfonation resulted in greater kidney uptake. Both dyes showed high tumor uptake with peak concentrations exceeding those of most tissues except for the liver in the case of Ga-PcS2. The highest tumor uptake was observed with Ga-PcS3. Both dyes were slowly excreted from the body. The liver-feces pathway was favored in the case of Ga-PcS2 with high activities persisting in the liver, even after 21 days. The Ga-PcS3 was preferentially excreted via the kidney-urine pathway. High performance liquid chromatography analysis of the liver and tumor extracts of [14C]Ga-PcS3-treated animals did not reveal desulfonation of the dye. However, urine analysis showed the presence of radioactive metabolites lacking the characteristic phthalocyanine absorption.  相似文献

The 87Kr nucleus has been produced as fission fragment in the fusion reaction 18O + 208Pb at 85MeV bombarding energy and studied with the Euroball IV array. High-spin states of this neutron-rich isotope have been identified for the first time. Its level scheme has been obtained up to 6.3MeV excitation energy and spin I ∼ 23/2ℏ. Its structure is interpreted by analogy with those of the heavier isotones. The proposed configurations involve both proton and neutron excitations from several sub-shells located close to the Fermi levels, particularly νd5/2, πp3/2f5/2 and πg9/2. Moreover, a revised spin value of 5/2- for the 87Br ground state is proposed.  相似文献

The phonon spectrum of the high-pressure simple cubic phase of calcium, in the harmonic approximation, shows imaginary branches that make it mechanically unstable. In this Letter, the phonon spectrum is recalculated by using density-functional theory ab initio methods fully including anharmonic effects up to fourth order at 50 GPa. Considering that the perturbation theory cannot be employed with imaginary harmonic frequencies, a variational procedure based on the Gibbs-Bogoliubov inequality is used to estimate the renormalized phonon frequencies. The results show that strong quantum anharmonic effects make the imaginary phonons become positive even at zero temperature so that the simple cubic phase becomes mechanically stable, as experiments suggest. Moreover, our calculations find a superconducting T(c) in agreement with experiments and predict an anomalous behavior of the specific heat.  相似文献

Dicke states represent a class of multipartite entangled states that can be generated experimentally with many applications in quantum information. We propose a method to experimentally detect genuine multipartite entanglement in the vicinity of arbitrary Dicke states. The detection scheme can be used to experimentally quantify the entanglement depth of many-body systems and is easy to implement as it requires measurement of only three collective spin operators. The detection criterion is strong as it heralds multipartite entanglement even in cases where the state fidelity goes down exponentially with the number of qubits.  相似文献

Sensitivity and robustness of efficiency classifications for the additive model and its geometric equivalents in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) are addressed. The minimum distance (measured by a Tchebycheff norm) separating an organization from reclassification is computed via linear programming formulations and shown to constitute a generalized ‘residual’ for each organization. Without this sensitivity information, findings can be distorted when marginally efficient or inefficient units are distinguished solely on the basis of their classification. Analysis of these residuals from an earlier (inconclusive) DEA study further reveals how substantive differences in a sample's underlying groups can be detected. Properties of group efficiency and group proximity to the efficient frontier are investigated using these new indicators.  相似文献
