A series of imidazolium cation-based ionic liquids (ILs) have been synthesized and examined as ionic solvents for rechargeable magnesium batteries. The electrolyte solutions consist of these ILs dissolving methylmagnesium bromide with tetrahydrofuran (MeMgBr/THF). The chemical structure of imidazolium cation much influenced the ionic conductivity and the electrochemical window of the system. A reversible process of cathodic deposition and anodic dissolution of magnesium has been successfully achieved at room temperature. The highest value of anodic peak current for magnesium dissolution was obtained in an optimized-structure IL with allyl and methoxyethyl groups as the substituents.  相似文献

Ultrafast fluorescence quenching of flavin in flavodoxin from Megasphaera elsdenii was investigated by means of a fluorescence up-conversion method. Fluorescence lifetimes of flavodoxin from M. elsdenii were estimated to be tau(1) approximately 165 fs (0.97%) and tau(2) approximately 10 ps (0.03%). Correlation of photoinduced electron-transfer rates (k(ET)) with averaged distances (D(av)) between isoalloxazine and nearby tryptophan or tyrosine was examined and obtained an empirical equation of ln k(ET) vs D(av) by means of a nonlinear least-squares method using reported data together with flavodoxin from M. elsdenii. The values of D(av) were calculated from X-ray structures of the flavoproteins. The ln k(ET) was approximately linear at D(av) shorter than 7 A. The model free empirical equation was expressed as ln k(ET) = 29.7 + (-0.327 D(av) + 2.84 x 10(-5))/(0.698 - D(av)(2)). We also analyzed the observed values of ln k(ET) with Marcus theory, but could not obtain reasonable results. Our analysis suggests that the average distance, rather than the shortest (edge to edge) distance or interplanar angles between the aromatics rings, is the key factor in the process of the photoinduced electron transfer in these flavoproteins.  相似文献

Tris(2,2'-bipyridine) complex of iron(II) was found to cause an increase in the chemiluminescence (CL) emission of luminol dispersed in the reversed micellar medium of cetyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAC) in 1:1 (v/v) dichloromethane-cyclohexane/water, when the iron(II) complex in dichloromethane was mixed directly with the reversed micellar solution containing luminol. Visible absorption measurements showed that, when dispersed in the CTAC reversed micellar medium, the iron(II) complex dissociates easily. In the reverse micelle, subsequently the free iron(II) ion produced may catalyze the CL oxidation of luminol even in the absence of hydrogen peroxide. The CL emission produced under the optimized experimental conditions was detectable at a minimum iron(II) concentration of 1.0 x 10(-9) M using a flow injection system.  相似文献

Poly(2,5-dioctyloxy-1,4-phenylenevinylene) (DOPPV) was found to form a highly oriented film by a friction-transfer technique. Structural investigation of friction-transferred DOPPV was studied by means of polarized ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption spectroscopy, polarized photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, and synchrotron-sourced grazing incident X-ray diffraction (GIXD) analysis. The polarized UV-vis absorption and PL spectra indicate clear axial alignment. DOPPV backbones in friction-transferred film are highly aligned along the drawing direction of the friction-transfer. Further information of the molecular arrangement in friction-transferred DOPPV film was investigated by both the out-of-plane and the in-plane GIXD analyses with synchrotron source. The DOPPV molecules in friction-transferred films were perfectly arranged three-dimensionally: the backbones aligned along the drawing direction of friction-transfer, the alkyl side chains lay in the film plane, and the planar backbones were arranged parallel to the film surface. Additionally, two neighboring DOPPV molecules along the direction of inter-backbones separation by alkyl side chains were found to be shifted with respect to one another by the mean distance of half of a monomeric repeat.  相似文献

Two fast and sensitive liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS)-based bioanalytical assays were developed and validated to quantify the active and three inactive metabolites of prasugrel. Prasugrel is a novel thienopyridine prodrug that is metabolized to the pharmacologically active metabolite in addition to three inactive metabolites, which directly relate to the formation and elimination of the active metabolite. After extraction and separation, the analytes were detected and quantified using a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer using positive electrospray ionization. The validated concentration range for the inactive metabolites assay was from 1 to 500 ng/mL for each of the three analytes. Additionally, a 5x dilution factor was validated. The interday accuracy ranged from -10.5% to 12.5% and the precision ranged from 2.4% to 6.6% for all three analytes. All results showed accuracy and precision within +/-20% at the lower limit of quantification and +/-15% at other levels. The validated concentration range for the active metabolite assay was from 0.5 to 250 ng/mL. Additionally, a 10x dilution factor was validated. The interbatch accuracy ranged from -7.00% to 5.98%, while the precision ranged from 0.98% to 3.39%. Derivatization of the active metabolite in blood with 2-bromo-3'-methoxyacetophenone immediately after collection was essential to ensure the stability of the metabolite during sample processing and storage. These methods have been applied to determine the concentrations of the active and inactive metabolites of prasugrel in human plasma.  相似文献

Asymmetric Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reactions of selected meso-α-dicarbonyl compounds with chiral phosphonate reagents, which possessed axially dissymmetric 1,1′-bi-2- or 8-naphthol at the carboxylate moiety as a chiral auxiliary, were examined. The reactions proceeded smoothly with good chemical yields as well as with high diastereoselectivities. Z-olefins were preferentially formed, and it was found that the free hydroxy group at the 2′- or 8′-position on the naphthalene ring plays a crucial role in the high diastereoselectivity, probably due to a complex-induced proximity effect. Adlayers of ZnOEP were prepared on reconstructed Au(100)-(hex) and unreconstructed Au(100)-(1 x 1) surfaces by immersing into a benzene solution containing ZnOEP molecules, and the adlayer structures were characterized by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). A hexagonally arranged ZnOEP array was formed on an Au(100)-(hex) surface, whereas a rectangularly arranged ZnOEP array was found on an Au(100)-(1 x 1) surface. The adlayer structure of ZnOEP was dependent upon the underlying Au atomic arrangements. Furthermore, an investigation of the spuramolecular assembly for these modified surfaces was carried out by using an open-cage C(60) derivative (opened C(60)). A supramolecular assembled adlayer with a 1:1 composition of opened C(60)/ZnOEP was formed on Au(100)-(hex), whereas aggregates of opened C(60) were found on the ZnOEP-modified Au(100)-(1 x 1) surface. Electrochemical responses of opened C(60) were significantly influenced by underlying ZnOEP arrays. This finding suggests that precise control of underlying ZnOEP adlayers with the Au atomic structure is important to recognize the opened C(60) on them.  相似文献

The electronic structure of the lower states of a trigonal Cr3+ pair and Mo3+ pair, which occur in the Cs3M2Cl9 crystal (M=Cr,Mo), were studied by theoretical calculations carried out according to several methods: multireference singly and doubly excited configuration interaction, second-order configuration interaction, and multireference coupled-pair approximation. We employed a model of a [M2Cl9]3- anion embedded in a cage of point charges, which were arranged so as to simulate the anion in the crystal. The model core potential was utilized, where the relativistic effect was included for Mo. Results of the Cr complex showed that there were no direct bonds between the Cr metals. The lower electronic spectra of the [Cr2Cl9]3- ion were interpreted in terms of the electronic spectra of [CrCl6]3-. The lowest state of simultaneous excitation in both metals was considered. The [Mo2Cl9]3- ion exhibited a single direct bond between the metals. Reflecting this single bond, the observed singlet-triplet splitting was much larger than that in the case of Cr and the calculated splitting was in good agreement with the observed one. We account for the electronic spectra of the [Mo2Cl9]3- complex, which exhibited quite different features in the electronic excitation spectra in comparison with those of the Cr complex.  相似文献

High-frequency sinusoidal oscillations of a coarse-grained polymer model are used to calculate the local dynamic mechanical properties (DMPs) of free-standing polymer thin films. The storage modulus G(') and loss modulus G(") are examined as a function of position normal to the free surfaces. It is found that mechanically soft layers arise near the free surfaces of glassy thin films, and that their thickness becomes comparable to the entire film thickness as the temperature approaches the glass transition T(g). As a result, the overall stiffness of glassy thin films decreases with film thickness. It is also shown that two regions coexist in thin films just at the bulk T(g); a melt-like region (G(')G(")) in the middle of the film. Our findings on the existence of a heterogeneous distribution of DMPs in free-standing polymer thin films provide insights into recent experimental measurements of the mechanical properties of glassy polymer thin films.  相似文献
