Influence of induced processes on the spin dynamics of an electron moving in a plane wave

Electron-spin behavior during stimulated radiation and absorption in a plane wave field is analyzed in this paper. It is shown that even when there is no preferred spin orientation on the whole as t, a preferred orientation exists at some finite time. Hydrosilylation of bicyclo[2.2.1]heptene derivatives by trichlorosilane with the use of Ni catalytic systems A study of the stereochemistry of the process

Hydrosilylation of endo- and exo-cyanonorbornenes, endo-methylnorbornene and camphene by trichlorosilane on a Ni catalytic system was investigated. Based on the spectral data obtained from ¹³C and ¹H NMR studies, using Eu(fod)₃ as the shift reagent and by employing the double resonance technique, the stereochemistry of the process has been studied. Stereoselective exo-addition of hydrosilane to bicyclo[2.2.1]heptene derivatives has been noted.     

Synthesis and spectral properties of shielded 1,2-disubstituted imidazolines

Shielded 1,2-disubstituted imidazolines were synthesized by condensation of diethylenetriamine with 2-ethylhexanoic acid. UV, IR and¹H and¹³C NMR spectral data were discussed. Intramolecular cyclization ofortho-(cyclohex-2-enyl)anilines. Modified synthesis of ellipticine

It was found that the reactions of arylamines with 3-bromocyclohexene afforded hydrocarbazole compounds in 64–78% yields. Novel ecdysteroid analogs with oxygen-containing heterocycles in the steroid skeleton

The reaction of ecdysteroids (20-hydroxyecdysone and its acetonides) with lithium in liquid ammonia gave novel analogs with an oxetane 9α,14α-oxacycle in the steroid skeleton. In aqueous alcohol solution the 9,14-oxa analogs rearrange to the more stable 9α,13α-oxa analogs through a 1,2-migration of the 18-Me group from the C-13 to the C-14 atom. Dedicated to Academician B. 7,8-dihydro analogs of ecdysteroids

Reactions of 20-hydroxyecdysone, its diacetonide, and 24,25(25,26)-anhydro derivative with lithium tetrahydridoaluminate gave the corresponding 6α- and 6β-epimeric alcohols and 7,8-dihydro analogs.     

The first one-pot synthesis of alkoxycyclopropanes via cyclometalation of styrene with ClnAlEt3−n and RCO2R′ mediated by Cp2ZrCl2

The one-pot cyclopropanation of styrene using Cl_nAlEt_3−n (Et₂AlCl, EtAlCl₂, AlCl₃) and carboxylic esters in the presence of Cp₂ZrCl₂ as catalyst gives rise to alkoxycyclopropanes.     

Synthesis and transformations of metallacycles

Cyclometallation of C₆₀ fullerene with excess AlEt₃ in the presence of Cp₂ZrCl₂ (2 mol % with respect to [Al]) in a toluene solution at 22–23 °C was carried out. The reaction gave 2,3-fullerene-substituted aluminacyclopentanes, whose hydrolysis led to a mixture of hydrogen-containing ethylfullerenes of the type H _m C₆₀Et _m containing 1 to 12 ethyl groups. Reactions of aminophenols with formaldehyde and hydrogen sulfide

The reaction of m-aminophenol with CH₂O and H₂S (1: 2: 1 ratio) afforded 2, 12-dioxa-4, 14-dithia-6, 16-diazatricyclo[15.3.1.1^7,11]docosa-1(20), 7(22), 8, 10, 17(21), 18-hexaene in ∼9% yield. Aminophenol o-and p-isomers react with CH₂O and H₂S (1: 3: 2) to form 2-and 4-[4H-1,3,5-dithiazin-5(6H)-yl]phenols in 86 and 71% yields, respectively. In the crystal structure of the latter, molecules contain dithiazine cycles in the chair conformation with the axial hydroxyphenyl group. Molecular packing represents a combination of molecules forming chains due to the OH...S intermolecular hydrogen bond. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk.
