Synthesis of optically active analogs of α-tocopherol based on (S)-(+)-dihydromyrcene

Synthesis and transformations of metallacycles. 27. Quantum-chemical study of the mechanism of styrene catalytic cyclometallation with triethylaluminum in the presence of Cp2ZrCl2

Cyclometallation of olefins with AlEt₃ in the presence of Cp₂ZrCl₂ affording five-membered monosubstituted cyclic organoaluminum compounds, was studied by the semiempirical quantum-chemical PM3 method. The proposed model of catalytic cycloalumination of styrene catalyzed by Cp₂ZrCl₂ is in a good accordance with experimental data obtained by dynamic NMR spectroscopy.

Synthesis of 20-hydroxyecdysone oxime, its diacetonide, and their 14,15-anhydro derivatives

20-Hydroxyecdysone oxime, its diacetonide, and the corresponding 14,15-anhydro derivatives were synthesized. Conditions were found for the preparation of the Z-and E-oximes, and their characteristics ¹H and ¹³C NMR parameters were determined.     

13C NMR spectra of polycyclic compounds and the stereochemistry of norbornadiene dimers and trimers

Conclusions We have obtained the¹³C NMR spectra of all known dimers and trimers of norbornadiene. We have determined the principles governing the changes in chemical shifts depending on the orientation interactions of the fragments and carried out the stereochemical assignment of all known isomers. Molecular and crystal structure of 2-(2-methyl-2-propenyl)-1,3-cyclopentanedione (C9H12O2)

An x-ray crystal structure study of 2-(2-methyl-2-propenyl)-1,3-cyclopentane-dione (C₉H₁₂O₂) has been carried out. It has been shown that in the solid this compound occurs exclusively in the enol form. The molecules are bound together by strong hydrogen bonds and form infinite chains along the b-axis. Effect of induced radiation of electrons moving in a plane electromagnetic wave on their spin orientation

Radiation from a charge in a field of two plane waves

In this paper we consider the question of radiation from a relativistic charge in the field of two electromagnetic waves, propagating in a single direction. The total power and also the spectral-angular distribution of the polarized radiation is found.
