Disperse Dyes Based on 5‐Arylazo‐thiazol‐2‐ylcarbamoyl‐thiophenes: Synthesis,Antimicrobial Activity and Their Application on Polyester

A series of novel 5‐arylazo‐thiazol‐2‐ylcarbamoyl‐thiophene derivatives was synthesized, and their chemical structures were secured by elemental and spectroscopic analyses. Their versatility for pharmaceutical purposes and textile dyeing as disperse dyes were reported. The synthesized dyes were applied to polyester fabrics by using high temperature dyeing method at 130°C. The dyed polyester fabrics displayed very good washing and perspiration fastness and moderate light fastness. Finally, the synthesized compounds showed biological activities against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus (Gram positive bacteria), Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Gram‐negative bacteria), while no effect had been reported against fungi. The minimum inhibitory concentration of the most active compound was evaluated. 相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring with identity. We show that R[[X]] is strongly Hopfian bounded if and only if R has a strongly Hopfian bounded extension T such that Ic(T) contains a regular element of T. We deduce that if R[[X]] is strongly Hopfian bounded, then so is R[[X,Y]] where X,Y are two indeterminates over R. Also we show that if R is embeddable in a zero-dimensional strongly Hopfian bounded ring, then so is R[[X]] (this generalizes most results of Hizem [11]). A new latrunculin, oxalatrunculin B (3), was isolated from Red Sea sponge Negombata corticata. Extensive spectroscopic analysis revealed an unprecedented heterocycle in which the rare thiazolidinone ring found in latrunculins was oxidized with three additional oxygens. An actin polymerization inhibition assay agreed with MM-PBSA free energy calculations that 3 binds more weakly than latrunculin B to actin. Significant antifungal and anticancer activity of 3 was found, suggesting an alternate target in addition to actin for latrunculin bioactivity. 相似文献

A potential hypoxia-sensitive system host-guest complex of three calixarenes (including two with four anionic carboxyl and sulphonate azo fragments on the upper rim and a newly synthesized bis-azo adduct of calixarene in the cone configuration with azo fragments on the lower rim with the most widespread cationic and zwitterionic rhodamine dyes (123, 6G and B)) was studied using UV-VIS spectrometry and fluorescence as well as 1D and 2D NMR techniques. It was found that all three calixarenes form a complex with rhodamine dyes with a 1:1 composition. The association constants of calixarene-dye complexes with sulfonate calixarenes, especially in the case of tetra-anionic calixarene, turned out to be higher compared with carboxyl calixarene due to the more intense electrostatic interactions. For the first time using an HRESI MS technique, it was shown that the treatment of rhodamine 6G and 123 with sodium dithionite (SDT) produces a non-fluorescent leuco form of the dye, and only rhodamine B can be used with SDT without the occurrence of a side reduction. Moreover, it was identified that in addition to the reduction in the azo groups, SDT causes partial cleavage of the aryl ether bonds. The found features of SDT should be taken into account when SDT is used as an azoreductase mimic. 相似文献

Diabetes is emerging as an epidemic and is becoming a public health concern worldwide. Diabetic nephropathy is one of the serious complications of diabetes, and about 40% of individuals with diabetes develop diabetic nephropathy. The consistent feature of diabetes and its associated nephropathy is hyperglycemia, and in some cases, hyperamylinemia. Currently, the treatment includes the use of medication for blood pressure control, sugar control, and cholesterol control, and in the later stage requires dialysis and kidney transplantation, making the management of this complication very difficult. Bioactive compounds, herbal medicines, and extracts are extensively used in the treatment and prevention of several diseases, and some are reported to be efficacious in diabetes too. Therefore, in this study, we tried to identify the therapeutic potential of phytochemicals used in in silico docking and molecular dynamic simulation studies using a library of 5284 phytochemicals against the two potential targets of type 2 diabetes-associated nephropathy. We identified two phytochemicals (i.e., gentisic acid and michelalbine) that target human amylin peptide and dipeptidyl peptidase-4, respectively, with good binding affinity. These phytochemicals can be further evaluated using in vitro and in vivo studies for their anti-hyperglycemia and anti-hyperamylinemia effects. 相似文献

Chaos-based encryption has shown an increasingly important and dominant role in modern multimedia cryptography compared with traditional algorithms. This work proposes novel chaotic-based multimedia encryption schemes utilizing 2D alteration models for high secure data transmission. A novel perturbation-based data encryption for both confusion and diffusion rounds is proposed. Our chaotification structure is hybrid, in which multiple maps are combined combines for media encryption. Blended chaotic maps are used to generate the control parameters for the permutation (shuffling) and diffusion (substitution) structures. The proposed schemes not only maintain great encryption quality reproduced by chaotic, but also possess other advantages, including key sensitivity and low residual clarity. Extensive security and differential analyses documented that the proposed schemes are efficient for secure multimedia transmission as well as the encrypted media possesses resistance to attacks. Additionally, statistical evaluations using well-known metrics for specific media types, show that proposed encryption schemes can acquire low residual intelligibility with excessive nice recovered statistics. Finally, the advantages of the proposed schemes have been highlighted by comparing it against different state-of-the-art algorithms from literature. The comparative performance results documented that our schemes are extra efficacious than their data-specific counterpart methods. 相似文献

ZnO nanostructures have been synthesized by heating a mixture of ZnO/graphite powders using the thermal evaporation and vapor transport on Si(1 0 0) substrates without any catalyst and at atmospheric argon pressure. The influence of the source temperature on the morphology and luminescence properties of ZnO nanostructures has been investigated. ZnO nanowires, nanoflowres and nanotetrapods have been formed upon the Si(1 0 0) substrates at different source temperatures ranging from 1100 to 1200 °C. Room temperature photoluminescence (PL) spectra showed increase green emission intensity as the source temperature was decreased and ZnO nanowires had the strongest intensity of UV emission compared with other nanostructures. In addition, the growth mechanism of the ZnO nanostructures is discussed based on the reaction conditions. 相似文献
