Systematic synthesis routes have been developed for the linear-shaped rhenium(I) oligomers and polymers bridged with bidentate phosphorus ligands, [Re(N--N)(CO)3-PP-{Re(N--N)(CO)2-PP-}(n)Re(N--N)(CO)3](PF6)(n+2) (N--N = diimine, PP = bidentate phosphine, n = 0-18). These were isolated by size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and identified by (1)H NMR, IR, electrospray ionization Fourier transform mass spectrometry, analytical SEC, and elemental analysis. Crystal structures of [Re(bpy)(CO)3-Ph2PC[triple bond]CPPh2-Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)2, [Re(bpy)(CO)3-Ph2PC[triple bond]CPPh2-Re(bpy)(CO)2-Ph2PC[triple bond]CPPh2-Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)3 and [Re(bpy)(CO)3-Ph2PC2H4PPh2-{Re(bpy)(CO)2Ph2PC2H4PPh2-}(n)Re(bpy)(CO)3](PF6)(n+2) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, n = 1, 2) were obtained, showing that they have interligand pi-pi interaction between the bpy ligand and the phenyl groups on the phosphorus ligand. All of the oligomers and polymers synthesized were emissive at room temperature in solution. For the dimers, broad emission was observed with a maximum at 523-545 nm, from the (3)MLCT excited-state of the tricarbonyl complex unit, [Re(N--N)(CO)3-PP-]. Emission from the longer oligomers and polymers with > or = 3 Re(I) units was observed at wavelengths 50-60 nm longer than those of the corresponding dimers. This fact and the emission decay results clearly show that energy transfer from the edge unit to the interior unit occurs with a rate constant of (0.9 x 10(8))-(2.5 x 10(8)) s(-1). The efficient energy transfer and the smaller exclusive volume of the longer Re(I) polymers indicated intermolecular aggregation for these polymers in an MeCN solution.  相似文献

A novel tripodal ligand, tris[(4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyridyl-4-yl)methyl]carbinol (L), has been synthesized. The spectroscopic, electrochemical, and photocatalytic properties of the new trinuclear complexes (Ru(2)Re and RuRe(2)) linked by the tripodal bridging ligand L are then investigated. In addition, 2-fold-improved photocatalytic activities were obtained in the case of these trinuclear complexes compared to the mixtures of the appropriate monometallic model complexes in the reduction of CO(2) under visible irradiation.  相似文献

The electronic structure of atoms in the first, second, and third periods were analyzed using the electronic kinetic energy density and stress tensor density, which are local quantities motivated by quantum field theoretic consideration, specifically the rigged quantum electrodynamics. The zero surfaces of the electronic kinetic energy density, which are called as the electronic interfaces, of the atoms were computed. It was found that their sizes exhibited clear periodicity and were comparable to the conventional atomic and ionic radii. The electronic stress tensor density and its divergence, tension density, of the atoms, were also computed and how their electronic structures were characterized by them was discussed. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Enantiomeric separation of d ‐ and l ‐serine on an octadecylsilica column was investigated using (2R)‐2,5‐dioxopyrrolidin‐1‐yl‐2,5,7,8‐tetramethyl‐6‐(tetrahydro‐2H‐pyran‐2‐yloxy)chroman‐2‐carboxylate (R‐NPCA), which was developed for a pre‐column derivatization reagent for electrochemical detection. In addition, (2S)‐2,5‐dioxopyrrolidin‐1‐yl‐2,5,7,8‐tetramethyl‐6‐(tetrahydro‐2H‐pyran‐2‐yloxy)chroman‐2‐carboxylate (S‐NPCA) was newly synthesized from (S)‐(?)‐6‐hydroxy‐2,5,7,8‐tetramethylchroman‐2‐carboxylic acid (Sα‐CA), and the enantiomeric separation of d ‐ and l ‐serine using S‐NPCA was also examined. The enantiomeric separation of d ,l ‐serine was achieved using the R‐ or S‐NPCA as a chiral derivatization reagent, and the elution orders of the enantiomers were reversed between R‐ and S‐NPCA. The elution orders of d ‐ and l ‐serine unexpectedly reversed between the phosphate buffer at pH 4.0 and pH 2.2, both of which were used in the mobile phase. Separation factors obtained using R‐ and S‐NPCA were similar—1.09 and 1.07, respectively. The detection limit was approximately 940 fmol on the column (signal‐to‐noise ratio 3) when the applied voltage was +650 mV. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We review the basic ideas underlying the electron free energy level diagrams that have been found useful in considering the thermodynamics of redox processes in molten silicates and related high temperature ionic liquid (IL) solvents, and then show how closely they link to behavior observable in ambient temperature ionic liquids. Much of the information available on redox levels in molten oxides has been gleaned from chemical analysis and spectroscopic species distribution studies, but it is simpler to obtain the data electrochemically. Here, we report some cyclic voltammetry measurements of the Fe(II)∕Fe(III) redox equilibrium in aprotic ionic liquids whose anions provide oxide environments for the redox species that are of different electronic polarizability character from the high temperature solvents, and relate the observations to those of the earlier studies. Quasi-reversible behavior is found in each of the cases studied. As might be expected, the Fe(II)∕Fe(III) equilibrium experiences a more basic environment in an acetate IL than it experiences in any of the common glassforming oxide media, while triflate anions contrast by providing a more acid environment than does the most acid of the molten oxide glassformers studied (an alkali phosphate). The difference can amount to well over 1 V, suggesting the possibility of a "basicity cell" where the same redox couple locates in anode and cathode compartments of the cell, and only the anion environment is different.  相似文献

The first application of a combination of novel ψ[(E)-CXCX]-type alkene dipeptide isosteres to conformation studies of cyclic bioactive peptides was carried out (X=H or Me). For exploration of bioactive conformations of Kessler's cyclic RGD peptides, cyclo(-Arg-Gly-Asp-d-Phe-Val-) 1 and cyclo(-Arg-Gly-Asp-d-Phe-N-MeVal-) 2, d-Phe-ψ[(E)-CXCX]-l-Val-type dipeptide isosteres were utilized having di-, tri- and tetrasubstituted alkenes containing the γ-methylated isosteres that have been reported to be potential type II′ β-turn promoters. All of the (E)-alkene pseudopeptides 3-6 exhibited higher antagonistic potency against αvβ3 integrin than 1, although potencies were slightly lower than 2. Detailed structural analysis using 1H NMR spectroscopy revealed that representative type II′ β/γ backbone arrangements proposed for 1, were not observed in peptides 3-6. Rather on the basis of 1H NMR data, the conformations of peptides 3-6 were estimated to be more analogous to those of the N-methylated peptide 2.  相似文献
