In this study, sodium humate/poly(acrylamide‐co‐methacrylic acid)/kaolin semi‐interpenetrating polymer network hybrid hydrogel was synthesized as an effective adsorbent for the removal of methylene blue. The morphological and structural properties, and swelling behavior in distilled water and various environments of hybrid hydrogel were investigated with different analyses and tests. The equilibrium swelling percent of hybrid hydrogel reached to 37,000% in 240 min. The parameters (agitation time, concentration, dose, temperature, and pH) affecting adsorption process for methylene blue were optimized using Taguchi method. The data obtained in optimum conditions were well fitted to Langmuir adsorption isotherm and maximum adsorption capacity was determined as 833. 33 mg/g. In the light of the results, the utilization of hybrid hydrogel with high swelling capacity is foreseen as a favored adsorbent in several separation processes. © 2019 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. In this study, a Schiff base was synthesized by the condensation reaction of 4-bromobenzaldehyde and 4-aminophenol. Then, phenylacetylene substituted Schiff base monomer (IPA) was obtained by HBr elimination reaction of IPA with phenylacetylene through Sonogashira reaction. IPA was polymerized via chemical oxidative polycondensation reaction. FT-IR and NMR measurements were used for the structural analyses of the synthesized substances. Fluorescence and UV–Vis analyses were carried out for optical characterization. Electrochemical characteristics, electrical conductivities and thermal properties were determined using cyclic voltammetry (CV), four-point probe conductometer, TG-DTA and DSC methods. The main purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of phenylacetylene bearing units on the properties of conjugated aromatic polyimines. The spectral analysis signified a green light emission behavior when irradiated at different wavelengths. Combined with fluorescent behavior and good thermal stability, the electrical conductivity was found to be very crucial for π-conjugated polymer.  相似文献

In the current report, casting from good solvent (acetone) and casting from mixed solvent and nonsolvent were employed for preparing thin films of terpolymer of T etrafluoroethylene (TFE), H exafluoropropylene (HFP), and V inylidene fluoride (VDF) (THV), on silicon wafers. These films revealed various morphologies and wetting behaviors depending on the solution concentration, temperature, and thin film preparation method. The THV thin films prepared by casting from good solvent showed smooth morphology with holes. The thin film prepared from a 3 wt % THV/acetone solution by casting from good solvent at 15 °C demonstrated spheres in addition to the smooth morphology, while the thin film prepared from a 5 wt % THV/acetone solution at 15 °C by casting from good solvent had a mesh‐like structure with some linked spheres. Casting the thin films from mixed solvent and nonsolvent resulted in various morphologies such as different sphere sizes embedded in a dense film layer, and hexagonal close packed structures. The thin films prepared by casting from good solvent showed a slightly hydrophobic character, with a measured water contact angle of approximately 99°, while the nonsolvent cast films had a water contact angle as high as 145°. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. For over ten years, there has been a considerable interest in determination of acrylamide in foodstuffs. It was known that both protein-rich and carbohydrates-rich foods cooked at high-temperatures can cause acrylamide formation. However, carbohydrates-rich foods such as potato chips and biscuit samples have been the common studied foods compared with protein-rich foods such as meat samples.In this study, determination of acrylamide in these two group foods was examined using HPLC-MS. For this purpose, firstly, the parameters that are thought to affect the response in the HPLC-MS analysis were optimized. The optimized conditions were found to be 0.3 ml min− 1 for flow rate of mobile phase, 40 µl for injection volume, 5 °C for column temperature and 70 V for fragmentor potential. The optimized method was applied for the determination of acrylamide levels in Turkish foodstuffs including grilled meat and chicken samples, potato chips, coffee and biscuit. The obtained concentrations for all studied foods were in the range of 20–250 µg kg− 1. The results showed that acrylamide concentrations highly varied depending on the kind of food samples.  相似文献

Four novel transition metal benzenesulfonate (BS) complexes of imidazole (im) with a general formula [M(imH)3(H2O)3]·(BS)2 [M=Mn(II) (1), Ni(II) (2), Co(II) (3)] and [Cu(BS)(imH)3]·(BS) (4) have been synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The complexes 2 and 3 have also been characterized by single X-ray diffraction technique. The BS anion in complexes 13 acts as a counter anion, while in complex 4, it acts as both ligand and counter anion. The Ni and Co complexes are isomorphous, crystallizing in the monoclinic crystal system with C2/c space group. Each metal(II) atom in 2 and 3 is octahedrally coordinated by three imidazole and three aqua ligands, adopting a mer-coordination mode with Ni(II) or Co(II) centers. In both 2 and 3, the H2C atom has bifurcated donor (O3 and O5) atoms, forming a bifurcated hydrogen bond. This hydrogen bond links the complex cation and BS anion, forming one-dimensional hydrogen-bonded supramolecular chains. The complexes exhibit different decomposition characteristics. Magnetic susceptibility measurement shows that complex 3 has orbital interactions.  相似文献
